April 28 Update – PvE Large Improvements, Clan Reservation and Important Fixes
Captains,
Following changes were deployed today, April 28:
Significant PvE Improvements: NPC ships from all nations will now travel into enemy waters, providing more opportunities for diverse PvE encounters. Players leveling through PvE will no longer need to sail long distances to find combat.
Boarding Upgrade Adjustment: Patrol Trincomalle ships no longer use elite boarding upgrades during boarding, and just use standard blue mods instead
Escape to Port Bug Fix: Fixed an issue where players could be dragged into battle after using the Escape to Port feature.
Clan Reservations Disabled: Clan reservations have been disabled. Players who did not create a character using their reserved clan tag have lost the reservation.
Clan Creation Cost Reverted: The reduced clan creation cost has been reverted. It is now back to 250,000, up from the temporary 15,000.
Captured NPC Ship Fixes: Fixed bugs related to incorrect deck gun calibers on captured NPC ships. NPC ships now carry proper gun loadouts.
Temporary Workaround for Being Pulled into Battle After Escape to Port
Captains,
We are aware of the bug that can cause players to be dragged into a battle after using the “Escape to Port” option. While a fix is in progress, please use the following workaround:
After escaping to port, exit the port to open sea and then enter the port again
Clan Reservation Expiring & Creation Cost Reverting on April 28
Captains,
This is a reminder that starting Monday, April 28, clan reservations will be disabled. Any players who have not yet created a character using their reserved clan tag will lose their reservation on that day.
Additionally, the reduced clan creation cost will be reverted. The cost will return to 250,000, up from the temporary 15,000, starting Monday, April 28.
Make sure to act before the deadline.
Reminder on Port Battle Ship Limits
Captains,
You can easily judge which ship you can take into a battle by looking at Port BR:
325 BR - from Lynx [[b]Min BR 13] to Le Gros Ventre Refit [[b]Max BR 40]
1000 BR - from Lynx [[b]Min BR 13] to Le Gros Ventre Refit [[b]Max BR 40]
1450 BR - from Mortar Brig [[b]Min BR 15] to Wapen von Hamburg [[b]Max BR 120]
2975 BR - from Mortar Brig [[b]Min BR 15] to Wapen von Hamburg [[b]Max BR 120]
3300 BR - from Mortar Brig [[b]Min BR 15] to Duke of Kent [[b]Max BR 353]
6000 BR - from Mortar Brig [[b]Min BR 15[TAG-40]] to Duke of Kent [[b]Max BR 353]
Port Battle ship limits are based on BR, not ship rank.
For example, in Port Battles with a BR limit of 1450 or 2975, you can bring any ship with a BR lower than Wapen of Hamburg (even if it’s a 3rd rate ship) and higher than Mortar Brig
