Hello, a new patch is now available. Here are the patch notes.
Patch 0.1.0.8
We replaced the lava with hard terrain in the first platforming sections on Aurora to reduce player frustration. When you fall, you can climb out at the front with a tool tip prompt teaching 'Zenith Thrash'
Weapon pickups are now magnetized when close to them.
The Post Process Effect when moving through an Energy Field has been greatly reduced to keep player's visibility.
-Fixed "Continue Story" not working at a level's start.
-Fixed Collision to keep player on Elevator on White Blazar.
-Fixed Turret for bomber sequence not activating via checkpoint spawn on White Blazar.
-Made beginning platforming sections on Aurora easier. We removed lava pits and added more tool tip prompts like Diving Thrust and Zenith Thrash to help player better understand the aerial movement.
-Made other platforming sections on Aurora easier. We added more platforms on some areas and removed most of the moving Energy Fields.
-Fixed Nightsithe 'safe mode' after teleporting. Nightsithe were not supposed to attack the player immediately after teleporting or spawning.
-HUD now displays Ammo as 'Unlimited' when you have unlimited ammo.
-Adjusted player visibility when in OmniFire(Both Top-Down and Isometric) or MeleeCam by adjusting the environment ghost shader.
-Weapon Pickups are now magnetic and they will follow you when close enough.
-Fixed Missing rain and thunder sound effects on Aurora.
-Adjusted Landing Target to be visible at lower altitudes. This should also help with platforming.
-Disabled Inventory Lock feature. I see many users activating this by accident without knowing and don't know why they are not picking up weapons. We plan on bringing it back for advanced players.
-Adjusted post processing effects for the Energy Fields. They no longer blind the player with over exposure but instead put a red tint on the screen to still give the effect of moving through something hot without blinding the player.
-Fixed Bug that disabled barriers closing off wings on Aurora you already explored. In previous builds it worked when you just left that wing with the Fusion Node but didn't work when spawning from checkpoints.
-Added Warning Timer when you apply user settings. If you don't accept applied setting in 15 seconds, the game will revert to previously saved settings.
-Added Warning for starting a 'New Story', selecting a chapter, or restarting a level via pause menu. This warning better informs users that some saved progress will be lost.
-Added Unique Action track for Moon.
-Fixed grammar errors with Sprint tutorial on Aurora and Solace.
We will be adding more fixes soon. Please remember to report bugs on the Steam forum so we can eliminate them. The more detail you describe them with, the easier it is for us to hunt them down on our end.
We also strongly advise you verify integrity of the files after the update is finished downloading.
What's to come?
We aim to get 0.1.1.0 released some time this month. In this major update we plan to have.
-Splitscreen Multiplayer in Endurance
-Unlockable Costmetics
-Tono Gian Mission logs found from the corpses of soldiers who tried surviving the desolate planet. This is for completionists and people who want to know more about canon and lore.
-Collection log for completionists. This will track best rank through missions, scanner nodes found, missionlogs, ect.
-at least 1 more Endurance Map.
We can't guarantee all of these features to make it to this update, but we wanted to give you a heads up by letting you know what we have been working on.
We are also still working on bringing back the keybinding menu and other disabled options that currently are not ready and hopefully we can get this out before the major update.
We are aware that many want to see a sandbox training mode which has also been added to our internal roadmap. We will let everyone know when that is further in the works.
Thank you again everyone for the feedback and thank you for allowing us to address many of the issues.
-Kevin & Michelle
Patch 0.1.0.7 is up
Hello, a new patch is now available. Here are the patch notes.
Patch 0.1.0.7
-Affect Radius of Umbra Quake has been increased with added Particle Effects.
-Proton Pull now pulls enemies closer to player. Melee Effects also now turn Green when performing the attack.
-Fixed Field of View Option not working.
-Fixed No Loading screen when finishing Aurora and loading Plemniba.
-Fixed Bug with Navigation Map not opening on top of Player Location.
-Added Subtitles for in-game dialogue (We still need to add subtitles for Cinematics as well as enable the option to toggle subtitles).
-Made Temporary fix for Nightsithe Patrol Ships breaking their waves. We did this by killing all patrolling scouts when you are captured clearing out an over taxed Actor Pool. Scouts will respawn once you defeat the wave you were captured in.
-Fixed Disabled 'God Mode' when in Cinematics. This prevents any left-over projectiles killing your character when the cinematic triggers after defeating a boss.
-Fixed ridiculously overpowered Rail-Gun damage output.
-Made minor adjustments with Melee damage and knockback effect.
-Added a 'Dotted line' trail for Solace and Aurora to make the first two playable Chapters less overwelming for new players.
-Added an 'Escape' feature to the Credits. pressing 'Esc' will exit the credits. (We need to make this feature to work with a gamepad too.)
-Adjusted 'Game Over' music volume after a play of Endurance. It shouldn't be so loud now.
-Adjusted Nova/Quasar Buff. Buff should now have no affect on Combos when taking Damage. And for some reason the damage reduction with the buff wasn't working. That should be fixed now.
-Reduced Dropship wave size on Moon.
-Converted Waypoint distance values to Meters.
-Removed popping sound from the Turbulance audio effect.
-Moved Platforms out away from walls in first puzzle segment on Plemniba. This may help prevent the raising platform wedging players against walls.
We will be adding more fixes soon. Please remember to report bugs on the Steam forum so we can eliminate them. The more detail you describe them with, the easier it is for us to hunt them down on our end.
We also strongly advise you verify integrity of the files after the update is finished downloading.
Thank you again,
Patch 0.1.0.6 is up (Important notes on recovering save files)
Hello, a new patch is now available. Here are the patch notes.
Patch 0.1.0.6
*Important*
Because we have changed the game's build configuration, save files are now stored in a different location. To recover your previous save data, you need to copy all of the files in '..\steamapps\common\Nelo\Nelo\Saved\' and paste them in the new save location 'C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Nelo\Saved\'
*Important*
-Remove All Ability Locks on Aurora.
-Tightened turn radius when in Walk Mode.
-Increased Weapon Heat Tolerance and Cooling Time.
-Player taking damage now forces them out of Walk-Mode
-Disabled Crouching when in Waves.
-Attacks do more damage on lower difficulties (Recruit and Adept).
-Enemy defensiveness (The likelihood of enemies dodging, blocking, teleporting, or any other defensive tactic when they take damage) has been greatly reduced on lower difficulties (Recruit and Adept).
-Melee Attacks, Umbra Quake (Y-XY) and Aphelion's Flower (YYYYXXXX) now have a stun effect on hit enemies similar to the Stun Bomb (We will be balancing this feature some more in later builds)
-Command Console has been removed(we thought giving the users some of our debugging tools would be useful but we realize this can also be used for cheating).
We will be adding more fixes soon. Please remember to report bugs on the Steam forum so we can eliminate them. The more detail you describe them with, the easier it is for us to hunt them down on our end.
We also strongly advise you verify integrity of the files after the update is finished downloading.
Thank you again,
Patch 0.1.0.5 is up
Hello, a day-one hot fix is available now. Here are the patch notes.
Patch 0.1.0.5
-Added a "Doom Trigger" throughout all of aurora (This is to help prevent players from getting stuck on rock collisions when falling in a lava pit)
-Disabled Key-binding Menu for now (we will re-enable Key-binding when it becomes more stable. If you have made changes in the keybindings from previous builds, I suggest deleting UserSettings.SAV in \Nelo\Saved\SaveGames and Delete everything in the Config folder in \Nelo\Saved\)
-Added Blocking Volume "Bumpers" on the rails during the Hyper-Blitz tutorial segment on Solace to prevent players just learning the ability to not run off the building by mistake.
-Adjusted Checkpoint trigger after first combat waves on Solace. The trigger no longer extrudes from the sides of the building. This should prevent checkpoint spawning on the side of the building.
-Added a prompt when approaching an executable down-but-not-out enemy but unable to perform execution due to exhausted stamina. The prompt will display in red text saying "Need More Stamina"
-Checkpoints now saves player look rotation on the Yaw axis only. When you hit a checkpoint looking straight up for example, you will now be looking straight ahead when the checkpoint loads.
-Adjusted Trigger on Aurora that spawns patrolling enemies in the main room to not clip through nearby arena rooms. This should prevent issues with players being stuck in arenas with not enemies spawning.
-Changed Zenith Vision tutorial description from "Use Zenith Vision to see wondering enemy threats through walls." to "Use Zenith Vision to see patrolling enemy threats through walls."
We will be adding more fixes soon. Please remember to report bugs on the Steam forum so we can eliminate them. The more detail you describe them with, the easier it is for us to hunt them down on our end.
We also strongly advise you verify integrity of the files after the update is finished downloading.
Thank you again,

Super Best Skins
Over a year ago, we ran a Kickstarter campaign to help get our project off the ground. We tried to make our goal reasonable but even then, we were having a tough time. When we had 5 days left of the campaign, pledges went from less than half way funded to fully funded overnight. This is because of the traffic and exposure from the Sw1tcher aka The Super Best Friends Play. As fans of the Sw1tcher we were never expecting this and we also couldn’t believe it was happening. But here we are today, with the project more further developed than it would without SBFP. We made special cosmetic skins after Matt, Pat, and Woolie to show them our gratitude for their support and the support of all the backers who helped get us through. Thank you!
Thank you everyone for taking the time to check this out, and be sure to check out Nelo on November 20th.
