v1.03 Patch Notes! Hall of Fame + Single Player AI
Here's the patch notes for v1.03!
Major Features
- The Hall of Fame can be accessed via the main menu in-game! Each patch, players who score well in leaderboards will be mentioned there. We also have a youtube channel in which some of the playthroughs will be recorded and shown there.
- Single Player AI is available! For players who can't micro a party of heroes even with pausing, your ranged heroes will be able to automate the usage of some of their abilities. For example, the priestess will be able to automatically cast Hallowed Heal on injured allies close by. However, usage of the AI mode will add +5 pause points to your score when uploaded.

The Guardian's Thunder Clap ability now knocks enemies back.

- Tactical Pausing has text changes telling players that each pause reduces their potential gold rewards.
- Quebrach the Spirit Oak Mother now no longer takes damage thanks to barkskin(previously reduced to 99%). Treants Sacrificing/Exploding near it will put a stack of Weakened Soul on it.
- The Deadly Boss Machine's ultimate on hard mode has pattern changes and major tweaks. Electric balls now move during this phase.
- Fujin the Wind Demon's ultimate in hard mode has received minor tweaks.
- Balazar the Necromancer's Spirit Drain now has a cutoff range and speed reduction applied that varies based on difficulty.
- Count Winkus's projectiles are now slower based on player count, do more damage and bypass armor on Impossible Difficulty. His Lightning Strikes now scale based on player count.
- The number of attacks Gravenous the Brute's does before using his Pummel ability has been increased.
- Madrona the Dragon Matriarch(Hard difficulty) dragon bombs no longer damage friendly units.
- Dragon whelp hit points have been increased.
- Mana Horrors now attack the players after accumulating a number of stacked buffs (hard mode).
- Void Tear AOE intervals has been reduced to 3 from 4.
- Summon Flame pillars now spawn based on player count.
- Ji'loch the Imprisoned's ultimate damage has been increased.
- Boss loot table adjustments.
- Boss hp/damage tweaks in Impossible difficulty.
- Heroes now auto-attack if an enemy is within their sight range.
- You may now transfer items to other heroes by 'dropping' items on them (ala War3).
Fixes
- Desync during the Quebrach encounter fixed.
- Fixed pause input when viewing replays with impossible difficulty.
- Party Portrait mouseover text fix.
This is a major patch; hopefully all the desync problems have been fixed with this. Have fun!

Tweaks:
Arimas the One-Eyed Horror: Extinguish and Void tear abilities restore about 50% less health.
Ji'loch the Imprisoned: Meteoric Corruption now hits less for the initial meteors.
AutoAttack duration increased for bosses: Balazar the Necromancer, Jiloch the Imprisoned and Arimas the One-Eyed Horror. This should make it easier to find timings to attack them.
As usual, the leaderboards will be reset. If there are anymore desyncs do let me know in the forums!
NEO Impossible Bosses v1.01 Patch Notes!
Hi all! Here are the patch notes for NEO Impossible Bosses v1.01!
Changes:
- Desync detection is now implemented. The game will be able to detect a desync across all players; and when it does so it will stop the game and let the host pick retry or return to hub. Desyncs are nasty bugs for me to fix, please try to make a post (with the replays attached) in the forums with information on what you were doing before the desync happened!
- The Auto-Attack frequency of boss encounters will now scale based on the number of players. ie. The boss will use abilities more frequently if there are more players in game.
Encounters tweaked:
: Deadly Boss Machine, Madrona The Dragon Matriarch, Ji'loch the Imprisoned, Arimas the One-Eyed Horror, The Twin Frost Elementals.
- Arimas the One-Eyed Horror: The Void Tear ability and Extinguish ability now restore health to the boss, giving it a fresh feel.
- Madrona The Dragon Matriarch: The boss's attacks now apply a debuff called 'Armor Break', which reduces the hit unit's Armor (stacks!). Some abilities have damage values tweaked.
- Ji'loch the Imprisoned: Binding duration changed to 8/5/3 seconds(based on difficulty) and Binding cooldown changed to 60 seconds. Some abilities have damage values tweaked.
- Some status effects that occur will no longer trigger when target is invulnerable.
- Maximum boss minion count reduced to 32.
- Priestess:
Hallowed Heal mana cost changed to 20 from 15.
Healing Spirit mana cost changed to 35 from 18.
Holy Nova mana cost changed to 30 from 20.
- Paladin:
Matyr mana cost changed to 90 from 70.
Fixes:
- Fixed Leaderboard display issue
- Fixed bug whereby non-host players could not choose a Flask while in multiplayer
- Fixed issue where a unit no longer receives commands when it gets incapacitated on finishing a channeled ability. (Involved encounters: Ji'loch the Imprisoned)
- Best-case fix for some desyncs.
As always, the leaderboards have been reset each time we move to a new patch. Healing/resurrecting felt a little too strong, hence the changes to the mana costs.

NEO Impossible Bosses is RELEASED!
A BIG THANKS to all who helped with testing and playing the game!
Version 1.0 Changelog:
- Impossible difficulty now has entire party debuffs per boss; increasing mana costs, armor reduction, and movespeed reduction.
- Some bug fixes with multiplayer
For the future, the game will be in update mode, meaning that there will be further updates that focuses on balance and tweaks to the boss encounters. Stay tuned!

Hi all,
Just letting you know that NEO Impossible Bosses will be released around 14th February! The closed beta will end 1 or 2 days before that. All save data will be deleted once you upgrade to version 1.0 to give it a fresh start.

Changelog for closed beta build 0.09:
- Boss Damage has been tweaked
- Added some new mechanics to The Deadly Boss Machine encounter.
- Tweaked scripting for Gravenous the Brute encounter.
- Network lag fixes have been applied. Network responsiveness options are available to the host for players who have high latencies.
- Fixed some visual glitches.

Changes:
- The Bank Storage is now available in the hub! Store your items by dropping items onto the bank! Also, when you change your party, items on removed heroes go straight to your bank.
- Cruelty damage set to 30 from 40
- Cruelty ability damage set to 80 from 60.
- Cruelty attack speed bonus set to 12.5 percent from 25 percent
- Crown of Ice ability damage set to 70 from 60
- Totemic Mask damage set to 30 from 20.

Closed Beta Build 0.07 ChangeLog
Here's the changelog for NEO Impossible Bosses build 0.07.
Changes:
- Hard mode is up and out! All 10 Bosses now have various tweaks to their encounters in hard mode! Examples:
Count Winkus Hard mode - Now has a Magic Clone twist to it.
Spirit Oak Mother Hard mode - Now applies a -50% movement debuff at the start of the encounter.
- Ironman mode now has their own leaderboards. In addition, they now keep track of the number of clears the players have made.
- Can no longer attack allies via attack hotkey.
- Fixed/changed some localization text.
- Windblessed Arrows damage bonus set to 25 from 35
- Windblessed Arrows attackspeed bonus set to 7.5 from 15 percent.
- Some minor story tuning
Leaderboards are reset again. We're getting closer to release, but rest assured that some development will still be going on even after that!

Closed Beta Build 0.06 ChangeLog
Here's the changelog for NEO Impossible Bosses build 0.06. There's not many gameplay changes for this update, it's mostly a translation and asset update.
Gameplay Changes:
- Boss hitpoint balancing now accounts for attack speed.
- Gold reduction from pausing too much, up to -200 gold.
- Windblessed arrows health bonus set to 200 from 500.
- Camera limit tweaks
- DBM's Flame Charge ability now pushes enemy units.
- The Great Spirit Oak Mother's mass entangling roots ability now has a minor visual rework.
- Ji'loch the Imprisoned Demonic Eruption ability now follows a different pattern.
- New names for bosses!
Other Changes:
- Simplified Chinese is now available.
- Fixed crash when transitioning between replays
- Replays now record text and have a point-of-view system to look from the player's perspective.
