Very soon our game on which we worked for 4 years comes out. With this great event we want to inform you about several important points.

  1. IMPORTANT! I deliberately changed the name of the save file so that everyone would start the game again. Due to lack of experience, I was not able to assess all the possible bugs that will cause the division of the game into chapters.
    The main problem is physics. Where there was nothing now is a mirror or a wardrobe and if you previously put a chair in this place, it will cause problems. I reworked the game to fully feel the atmosphere and plunge into the story, it is better to go through the game from the beginning. New mechanics, sounds, notes, monologues were added. However, old saves won't be deleted, but I ask you to use them only after completing the game, just for fun.

  2. After release, there will be 3 languages in the game: English, Chinese and Russian. We had to temporarily remove French because we didn’t have enough money for high-quality localization. If you want to help with translation into French and German, write us in private message.

  3. There will be added a third (Final) Chapter in full game, but actually it will be a whole game, the division into chapters helped us overcome the early access. You all helped us with your interest and expectation of continuation!

  4. Little experiment. I created a discord channel for bugs.
    Join if you want to report problems in the game.

  5. It is profitable to buy the game before may 9 because the price will rise.

Hello dears! It's time to tell you about who we are and why we create the game for so many years.

We are a young couple from Russia. We have been together for 7 years and 4 years we create a computer game «Never Again». This is our first project and, to be honest, it is difficult to imagine our life without it. First of all, the game is based on the story, emotional experiences and then the game component.

My name is Inna, I write the script, also adapt the game for the English-speaking audience and I am the voice of the main character. Valentine makes the game itself, the characters, he creates a virtual world for our story. And also writes an amazing music that you can check during the game.

Because it's more than just a game to us, we strive to make it as good as possible. But due to the fact that there are only two of us in the team, the development takes a lot of time. But nevertheless, our goal is to convey the meaning of the story and emotions to the player exactly as we see it.
For all these four years we had to tell dozens of times about the game to different people, to answer the same question: "so what is your game about?" And every time we go away from the answer, because we can’t tell what our story is about, because it will be a huge spoiler and a mistake on our part.

The ending is the heart of our game. But we will make you happy! Very soon there will be a release of the full game and you can immerse yourself in the story of our Sasha Anders. You will be able to pass through all her fears, go through all the difficulties she had to face.
We hope that this game will leave a mark in your memory, after you pass it to the end. We want you to read it as a book, and the gameplay only helped to dive into the story.

Finally, we have chosen the final release date. The game will be released on may 9. It doesn’t always go as planned, especially in indie development. Due to the fact that we did not have time to make a release in March, we are launching another 50% discount.

The last sale starts before the full release of the game and the last opportunity to buy the game much cheaper and support the final stage of development. I’m afraid to call the exact release date, but presumably it is March 2019.

Release Date And Winter Sale



Dear friends! I want to tell you about the stage of development of the game, because I haven’t released updates for a long time and there was little news from me. And also I want to tell you about the winter sale and subsequent sales before the full release.

Now the development is at a stage where I can’t tell much about the game because of the spoilers and I have already gone far from the final of the second Chapter to make another update which fixes minor bugs, not to mention the fact that the final of the second Chapter was redesigned in favor of a more logical and coherent narrative.

It was also decided to add a few new mechanics one of which I was asked to do for a long time. You can climb on chairs to reach objects that are too high. Finally it will be possible to get closer to the suitcase in the first room and finally understand that without dad it still can’t be lowered :D

The rest of the moments before the release I will keep a secret to surprise you more. I'll just attach a couple of intriguing gifs!



Winter sale begins on Steam and it will be the penultimate to the full release of the game which is scheduled for March (the exact date yet). I hope everything will be according to plan. Now you can buy the game with 50% discount and it will be much cheaper than the full price in March, because according to the rules of Steam after the price increase when you exit the "Early Access" I won’t be able to make a discount in honor of the release. By purchasing the game now you will save about 70% of the full price and help its promotion!



When I released the game in the "Early Access" I didn’t think it would last for a whole year and a half but the game turns out better than my wife and I imagined at the very beginning of development. Of course I want to finish the game as soon as possible but even more I want to make it as high quality as possible. Before the "Early Access" we did the game for 2 years and in total develop it for almost 4 years together, me and my wife Inna. Until now we aren’t exhausted and we have preserved a huge enthusiasm. If you knew how much we want to share the ending and the whole story of Sasha Andres with the world, this will keep us until the very end.

In honor of Halloween I’ve prepared a DLC soundtrack. But the page in the store isn’t approved yet, unfortunately. The plan was to release the OST with the discounts. The tracks are prepared and you need to press just one button. Well, we’ll wait for the approval of the page.

I put all my talent into the music for the game. I tried to write the tracks so that the story was revealed from an unexpected side.

Until the game is fully released will be available 5 tracks. After the release DLC will be supplemented by other tracks.

Update 2.5.1 a New version of the UE4




  1. I moved the game to a new version of the engine. It's always an exciting moment because something always breaks. I fixed all the broken moments, tested, everything should be fine! + FPS should rise because in the engine there have been changes that have a positive impact on optimization.

  2. Finally made normal hair the second boss!:)

  3. I fixed a bug with the respawn at the second boss. Now the boss won't kill you several times in a row but he still kills when you respawn. If you were in sight and moved, I know how to fix it, but you should carefully this time to test. It will be in the next update.

  4. I've redesigned the lighthouse. But this is not the final version. This location was made in a hurry and still needs improvement.

  5. I've fixed animation of turning on the flashlight after removing the blanket. Finally! It wasn't easy.)

  6. Some animations have been modified and I've added some new elements.


Well, as always, fixed a few minor bugs that are caught on the road:)

2.4.2 Update

As we want to share with you the ending of the game as soon as possible, but we remain calm and move to this point. Some new fixes:


  1. I’ve done the new icon design in the diary to make it easier to understand that interaction is possible between items in the diary. Fixed some minor bugs in it.

  2. Changed the behavior of bosses in favor of the atmosphere.

  3. Partially altered mechanics of the bridge. The closer to the middle of the road, the more you stagger. Before that, you staggered a lot along the way.

  4. Redesigned icon in the closet. To facilitate the passage of the puzzle.

  5. Now the breaking mirrors is a skeletal animation. Before it was physical destructible objects and sometimes it led to a fatal error and closed the game. This is a drawback of the engine. Maybe it will be fixed in the future.

  6. Added saving after you activate the fireplace.

  7. Passing the second boss, it remained motionless until you come close to him. This bug killed a couple of million nerve cells, but was fixed.

Also fixed a lot of minor bugs. And a lot of things we need to fix for release. We’re working on the final Chapter! Thank you for staying with us!
