Sorry for the delay in the next patch update! We’ve been fixing tons of bugs and improving the game overall. It’s important to us that everything is as smooth as possible when we release the next update, so it may take another week or so before it’s ready. Many apologies again for the delay!
One of the improvements we’re making is supporting even more controllers! However,

Build Notes for Version 0.03.39
NOTE: No Sensor is Required. You do NOT need a biofeedback sensor to play Nevermind. Without a sensor, the biofeedback-specific features will be unavailable, but the core game itself will be fully functional.
Updates:
Bug fix: Client #418 Non-Progression Bug The bug in Client# 418 (mentioned in our 7/23 announcement) has now been fixed.
New Controller: Xbox One Controller Support Nevermind now supports the Xbox One controller. We will be adding more supported controllers in the coming weeks. Keep an eye out for a survey about which controllers YOU would like for us to support!
Overall Improvements: More Reliable Controller Support We have fixed several bugs specific to playing Nevermind with an Xbox 360 controller.
General Improvements: Performance optimizations, visual upgrades, and general bug fixes have been made throughout the game. Major performance upgrades will be coming soon!
Notes and Disclaimers:
Nevermind is an Early Access game: Nevermind is still in development and you may experience bugs or performance issues that we will continue to iron out as development continues. All content is still a work-in-progress. If you have feedback, please let us know via the Steam Community Page Discussions.
Bug alert: Choppiness in the opening area of the IntroSim (Mac Users) Some Mac users may experience increased choppiness in the opening “cottage” area of the IntroSim. We are currently investigating the cause of this and hope to have it resolved soon. If the choppiness becomes too annoying, please consider turning your Render Settings to “Medium.” You can do so by going to Options/Graphics. The opening area of the IntroSim is the only area within the game where this issue should exist.
Bug alert: Mouse movement counts as a “button” press on skippable screens During screens that can be skipped with a button press, moving the mouse (even just a little) will cause the screen to skip. We’re hoping to have this fixed for the next update.
Windows 7 Support: Nevermind is playable on Windows 7, although it is not fully supported. Windows 7 users may experience some instability.
Mio LINK Users:
Bluetooth connectivity currently works only on Windows 8. At this time, the Mio Link is the only sensor that uses Bluetooth connectivity. To pair a Mio LINK with a Windows 7 machine, please use an ANT+ USB stick.
Companion App: To support non-RealSense heart rate devices (e.g. The Mio, Garmin Chest Strap, etc.) on Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 environments, Nevermind makes use of a small companion app called the Nevermind Heartrate Companion. This companion application is opened and closed by the game, and can be found as a taskbar icon next to the clock during play. This companion application uses network protocols to communicate with Nevermind. Because of this, the companion app may cause a security warning on Windows and/or some anti-virus software. We assure you this companion app is completely safe, and you can allow it access to the system's network. There are currently no plans or means to support Bluetooth heart rate devices on Windows 7. OS X Bluetooth support is planned for a future Early Access update.
Companion App Known Issue: There is a small known issue where the Nevermind Heartrate Companion will sometimes not quit along with Nevermind, due to a failure in network communication between the two applications. If this occurs, you can close the companion application manually by right-clicking on its taskbar icon and selecting "Quit" from the context menu.
Bug alert: Performance Performance may be particularly laggy on machines that run closer to our min specs. We will be continuing our ongoing optimization efforts and intend for future builds to run much more smoothly.
Fear UI: To see an on-screen indicator of your “fear level,” go into the Options menu and select “Fear UI On.” (Note: option only appears if playing with a supported biofeedback sensor).
First Person Control Familiarity: Nevermind uses standard “first person” controls (WASD/arrows and mouse). Familiarity with this control scheme is recommended.
Potential Progression Bug
We have discovered a rare, fringe-case progression bug with our new client, #418.
If you are in the Dark Red Tower area of Client #418's Mindscape, quit the game or return to the office, and then reload the client, you may experience a progression-blocking bug. This bug is identified by your camera getting locked on the elevator panel puzzle, which will only have one button instead of several rows. This is a known issue and we are working on a patch to resolve it.
If you experience this bug, there is an available workaround. Restart your game, and on the office computer, reset your progress for Client #418. If you then play through the level without quitting in the Dark Red Tower area, you will be able to complete the level.
We do apologize that this fix involves reverting your progress on the level.
If you would rather not lose your progress, we simply ask that you wait for the patch. Once the patch is in place you will be able to continue from your existing save file without issue.

Updates:
32-Bit Functionality Returns We have made several updates that have returned 32-bit functionality to Nevermind. While we won’t be officially supporting it, we will do everything we can to keep the 32-bit experience as close to the main 64-bit experience. We will be relying on you, our players, to let us know if you find any issues within the 32-bit version. If you do, let us know via the Community Page Discussions or reach out to us directly to support@nevermindgame.com !

Updates:
ANT+ Support for Windows 7 has Returned! In our 6/29/15 update, we had to deprecate Win 7 sensor support due to an overall upgrade to the game that conflicted with Win 7 ANT+ support. While we had originally thought that there was, unfortunately, nothing that could be done to support ANT+ sensors with Windows 7, we have since found a solution and have implemented it into the game. This update should return Win 7 ANT+ functionality to Nevermind. If you run into any issues with using your ANT+ device while playing Nevermind on Win 7, please email us at support@nevermindgame.com.

Windows 7 ANT+ Support Will Be Back Soon!
Great news! We are now working on a fix to re-enable Win 7 ANT+ sensor support! Expect it in a patch coming next week!
In our previous update, we had to deprecate Win 7 Sensor support due to an overall upgrade to the game that conflicted with Win 7 ANT+ support. While we originally thought that there was, unfortunately, nothing that could be done to support ANT+ sensors with Windows 7, we have recently discovered a fix that will re-enable ANT+ support. We have implemented this fix today and will post the patch once we're done testing the build for any major bugs.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience!

We are still looking into expanding the range of controllers that Nevermind will support.

Update: Unity 5 Upgrade! We have upgraded to Unity 5 and have been continuing to iterate on existing content. As such, visual improvements can be found throughout the game.
Update: IntroSim! “TrainSim” level is now called “IntroSim” to better reflect its purpose as an introductory, simulated client.
Key bug fix: Entering into fullscreen mode in the Mac version no longer causes a crash. We are also optimistic that many of the Mac OS Yosemite issues have since been resolved.
