Let’s talk a bit about Next Day, the team and what's going on.
So, Next Day is alive! We maintain the server online, update the anti cheating system and DO NOT PLAN to close the game. Everything works and will work for a long time!
Talking about the updates, Next Day have received all of them planned for the release moment, almost everything that we had planned to the release date was done.
This means the game is no longer in beta test, this is a full version. Everything has a beginning and an end, we cannot develop the game endlessly (unless we change the monetisation system to Free2Play with microtransactions). Making of of pre-release updates was very expensive, we added a lot of content and spent a lot of efforts and resources. The release has come, but we were unhappy with its results. .
Before proceeding with the development of any other major updates, time must pass, we need to understand how to allocate efforts and resources in the best way. The release of even one big update is an extremely costly process. For example, the development of the update of the “Dead Swamp” location took us over 3.5 months. During this period 5 people worked full time on it. Please understand, game development is not a hobby.
After the release, the main part of the team was transferred to other projects, but the development of the game is not over, we already have some plans, which we will tell you a little bit later. In a nutshell, we are planning at least 2-3 major updates, there are some plans for significant graphics improvements.

Hello everybody! We’ve uploaded another update on the servers that brought lots of interesting things into the game!
The update is pretty big, so if you find any bugs or errors, please let us now, we will fix it ASAP.

[Updates / Changes] 1) Added a new underground location "Laboratory".
2) Added 24 quests to the location of Dead Swamp (the beginning of the line of quests at Point N12, location Severoufimsk).

4) Added new hats and a backpack: MAG-2 Mask, Tankman Helmet, Large travel backpack.
5) Added a new animal BOSS: Two-headed wolf.

Hello! It has been more than a week since the release of the game from early access, so this means that it's time to talk about the upcoming update, which will bring a lot of new interesting things and features!
A short list of upcoming updates.
1) New sub-location "Underground laboratory".
2) A new line of quests, related to scientists and the location of "Dead Swamp”.
3) New NPCs (quest): Priest, Lighthouse-Keeper, Miller.
4) New animals (bosses): Two-headed wolf.
5) Various fixes bugs and errors.
6) For Russian players there will be a separate game server running!
The update is scheduled for the first half of June.

We are glad to tell you, that today Next Day: Survival has officially left the early access and moved on to the release version of the game!
Firstly, we’d like to tell you, that the game’s development doesn’t end here, we will also continue fixing bugs and release new updates; in the coming days we’ll tell you about the upcoming things we want to add to the game and also about some changes!
It’s a significant day for our small team today - for many years we’ve been working hard and managed to turn a small test project into a full-fledged RPG with its unique elements of gameplay. We would like to thank all of our players for their help in the development and sum up a little about how the game has changed in 10 months from the time of its early access!
1) Fixed more than 1000 bugs and errors!
2) Added 4 new locations: Bunker A65, Primorye, Dead Swamp, Catacombs.
3) Added 32 items of clothing (jackets, pants, hats and so on).
4) Added 14 new weapons!
5) Added 12 new species of animals, including unique species of animal bosses.
6) Added 10 new types of NPCs – quest ones as well as enemies.
7) Added 21 new quests and 22 more quests are already at the final stage of development.
8) Updated lighting in all the locations; updated all visual effects and improved graphics.
Only the main elements are listed here, not to mention dozens of different small mechanics who made the game even more interesting.
