UPDATE [20/02/2018]

Hello! We are glad to announce that today we have released pretty big update that is scheduled to the upcoming release of the game from early access.

This update is not as big as we planned, some things had to be postponed. However we managed to finish the main update- the new mode "Last Survivor".

A few words about the new mode: the main thing is to remain the last survivor in the zone, which gradually fills with a toxic fog. During the match you can earn experience, thanks to which the level of your character gradually increases. Players who take 5-1 places receive a reward, game items that can be used in the next matches. The player who took the first place can pick up any five items that he managed to collect in the current match.

As we’re moving on to the release version, we had to zero out some data on all accounts: storages and money. This is due to the large number of vulnerabilities found (dupes and others during the early access). Earlier we warned about this. Thank you for understanding.

[Fixes]
1) Fixed a bug when the character was dealt damage after exiting the swimming stater, if he fell into water before that.
2) Fixed a bug when the grenades did not sink and stayed on top of the water.
3) Fixed a bug when the bolt of the weapon was displayed incorrectly when firing.
4) Fixed a bug when the sound looped after the death of the character.
5) Fixed a bug when some game objects could hang in the air before the physical interaction was activated.

14) Fixed a bug in the quest "Lighthouse Repair", when the marker was present, but the action was unavailable.

[New]
1) Added a new mode of the game "The Last Survivor", only one location "Primorye" is available at the moment.
2) Added leader lists in the form of large billboards that are located in the game world.
3) Added a new level loading system, now the game world is loaded by small chunks, due to this the amount of used memory is reduced, the world loading and the transition between the locations became several times faster.
4) Added new weapons: HK G36, HK G36 Camouflage, USAS-12, Galil, RPD.
5) Added UI list of recipes for crafting. (A button with a "?" in the crafting window).
6) Notes are now automatically opened for reading if they are selected for the first time.
7) Added a new sound solution for the quests (beginning / end of the quest).

[Changes]
1) Changed the weight of the box with bullets for PM. Now the box weighs 0.4 Kg.
2) The model and animations of the animal "Hare” are updated.
3) Now the grenades deal damage to passengers in vehicles.
4) The spawn loot system in killed NPCs has been updated. The number of items is cut. Dropouts are determined randomly.
5) Changed the time of respawning of the broken vehicles to 40 min. Drowned vehicles respawn in 20 minutes.
6) Improved target detection system for NPC.
7) Removed all messages related to early access.
8) Now if the player came to a quest settlement already cleared by someone, the message "Settlement has been stripped before you" will be displayed.
9) Updated the title art when starting the game.

1) Fixed the bug when the collision between players and animals didn't work.
2) Fixed the bug when the process of skills learning wasn't updated after the character’s respawn.
3) Fixed the bug when weapon skills could be upgraded using traders of the opposite faction.
4) Fixed the bug when the faction was reset when one restarted the game after completing the quests line "Redemption".
5) Fixed the bug when small cars could enter through the net (pass the guard?) at the "Berezki" location.

Hello there! First, we want to apologize that there hasn't been any news for a long time. Right now, we've started testing another update, which will be released during the first week of December. The update is interim and it'll contain lots of fixes and some mechanics you've asked for.

As you know, the release of the game is planned for February 2018, we’ll make at least two large updates by that time which will contain: new mode "The last survivor", location "Dead Swamp" and a range of new game items like weapons and outfit. We’re also planning to rebalance the loot and the store, we’ll tell you more about it later.

Nearest plans.

Hello everyone! The work on the game's in full swing. As you know, already in the first quarter of 2018 we're planning to leave the early access. To do that, we need to do plenty of work on the bug fixing as well as on the new mechanics/content.

We actively check all the bug reports that you send to us, and fix them. In the upcoming update, there'll also be a huge bug fix and new content. Location "Primorye" will have its own quest line, that is mostly concerned with military men. Also we're working on the location "Death Swamp", that is most likely be a small DLC with its own quest line, new items, weapons and additional underground location.

Right now, our basic goals are optimizatiom and bug fixing.

The first DLC is released!

Hello! From now on the first DLC of Next Day: Survival that includes official soundtrack is available on Steam. This DLC consists of several additional soundtracks, that are not included in to the game. Enjoy!
