Should address most instances of "Running out of GPU memory" error on graphic cards that exceed min spec
Players should be able to rebind inputs to the arrow keys, you may receive a warning to rebind camera controls which are bound to the arrow keys by default
Pressing Tab + I together should no longer crash the game

Planned Server Maintenance Has Started

Our server maintenance has begun.
During this time you will be unable to log into the Realms.
This maintenance period is to push a hotfix that should address the following issues:
Most instances of "Running out of GPU memory" error on graphic cards that exceed min spec
Issues with arrow keys being used for key rebinds
Pressing Tab + I together crashing the game
We anticipate approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour of downtime.
We will post another news article when the servers are back online.

To roll out a hotfix we have planned server downtime starting at 6:00 am MT on February 21, 2024.
This hotfix should address:
Most instances of "Running out of GPU memory" error on graphic cards that exceed min spec
Issues with arrow keys being used for key rebinds
Pressing Tab + I together crashing the game
During server downtime, you will get kicked from the game and be unable to login. We're estimating approximately 30 mins to 1 hour of downtime.
We will make an announcement here when the maintenance is complete, and when you can download the update.

We're continuing to look into various other network issues, crashes and issues. Steam & Nightingale Planned Server Maintenance

For those of you playing on Steam, when the Steam maintenance window happens today: - Already in-game? You should be able to continue playing (may get connection errors when traveling to a different Realm). - Not logged in? You won't be able to join servers until the maintenance is complete.

To roll out this fix, we have to update both the client and the server, meaning players will need to be kicked from the game when it is rolled out. An exact time will be communicated before it happens, but it will likely be late tonight Mountain Time.
You will then need to update the game in order to get back into the Realms after the hotfix is pushed,

Nightingale is OUT NOW in Early Access.
The Pale has enveloped much of Earth, and you’ve been cast adrift in the Faewilds. You must survive the dangers of these magical and treacherous lands, navigate through the ancient Fae portal network, and discover what it truly means to become a Realmwalker.
As we enter the start of Early Access, we want to thank everyone for joining us on this journey. Whether you’ve been with us through our earlier playtesting or are jumping into the Realms for the first time this week, the enthusiasm, feedback and ideas, and positivity has meant so much to everyone here at Inflexion.
We're continuing our commitment to making Nightingale a unique and meaningful universe to (Realm) dive into. This community is at the forefront of everything we do, and it’s important to us that we continue that collaboration as we refine and expand Nightingale in the weeks, months and years to come.
In the coming weeks you’ll see us focus on hotfixes and QOL updates (craft from storage incoming!), and iterating on all aspects of the experience. Beyond that we’ll be adding more biomes, Realm Cards (Major and Minor), creatures, Apex monsters, weapons, tilesets, and so much more.
This moment marks the culmination of years of development, community playtests and hard work from all of us at Inflexion Games. Nightingale is the first project from our studio and we know the bar is high for our players. We are looking forward to seeing you all in the Realms.
