Start your week with a bang — complete assigned tasks and earn the famed “Old Salty”, a double barrel shotgun that deals with complex problems with a simple solution.
And if you are already a proud owner of an Old Salty — it gets even better! You can still complete a couple of tasks and get the Wooden Full Stock and another Brilliant Hacking Code that will unleash the full potential of your weapon!
The event runs until 10 AM UTC on Monday 21st of March.
Answering a popular request, every task is now unlocked immediately. So you can complete them in any order and at your own pace — finish everything in a day or concentrate only on the most desired rewards! Just head over to the Events tab in the game menu and see what assignments you need to do.

Development Roadmap — Spring 2022

Thus, we are happy to present you with a renewed and improved Nine to Five development roadmap! Sit back, get a drink, and read about changes coming to Nine to Five in the upcoming months.
In March, we kicked off the Performance Re-Evaluation task events.

So, if you did not manage to get this killer merc gear the first time, now you have a second chance! If you have already unlocked all of these, you can still participate and get additional upgrades and extra rewards.
April starts with a brand-new task event — Merc’s Choice, and this time players get to choose the rewards!
Two weeks before the event, we will run a poll on our Twitter and Discord, where players can vote for one of four bundles. Each bundle will include a primary and secondary weapon, armor set, and a badge or a sticker. All rewards will have premium skins as seen on the Nine to Five Marketplace.

In late April we plan to release a smaller update that will add more in-game events, fix bugs and implement other smaller changes before the major update comes in late May.
Our May update is still under development, and we cannot give you too many details about the content and changes coming in yet, however here are a couple of things you can expect.

New Task Events — March and early April
Mercs, it is time for your regular performance evaluation!
We present you with new task events arriving in March and early April — Performance Re-Evaluation 1-4 and the Merc's Choice event!
Performance Re-Evaluation events are a great place to get the missing weapons and armor from Career Development events.
So if you didn't manage to get The Preacher assault rifle, the Old Salty double-barrel shotgun, ML-SMG 40, or the Mohave Armors, now you have a second chance! And it's even better if you have completed everything on the first go! Now you can focus on getting more parts, codes, and other additional rewards that will help to unleash the full potential of your weapons!
Merc's Choice is a brand new type of task events. This time players get to choose the rewards!

Live for the Weekend // Task Event — Mar 4-7
The fifth Nine to Five Weekend Event is kicking off! This weekend only, complete three simple tasks and earn killer upgrades for your Cardinal: weapon parts, hacking codes, and other resources to take your shotgun revolver to the next level.

How to participate in the event
First of all, you need the Cardinal.
You can purchase the revolver from the Marketplace for 15,000 credits or by completing the Weekend Task from your Daily Tasks list.
This week's Weekend Task is to kill or incapacitate at least 1 enemy in 5 different shifts. If you are having trouble downing the enemy while they are standing, use your primary weapon to drop them and finish them off with a nice and easy headshot from your secondary.
Note, if you decide to obtain the Cardinal from the Weekend Task, it will already have some upgrades pre-installed, so adding new Hacking Codes and Parts will send it to the moon!
If you already have the Cardinal, you can just focus on completing the Live for the Weekend tasks and collecting awesome upgrades for your weapon!

Good news, Mercs!
Update 0.4.2.0 update is available for your playing pleasure! With this update, we're fixing bugs, improving weapon balance, and introducing additional task events.
Weapons
The Preacher
Added Micro Red Dot weapon part.
Significantly reduced the ADS sway.
The Chancellor
Increased the rate of fire by 30%.
Increased the damage per pellet from 16 to 18.
Increased the optimal range from 13 to 16.
ML-TACSG
Increased the rate of fire by 30%.
Increased the optimal range from 9 to 12.
Slightly reduced the recoil.
The Gambler
Increased the rate of fire by 15%.
ML-9CP
Increased the rate of fire by 10%.
ML-TAC SK Heavy
Increased the rate of fire by 25%.
Reduced the recoil by 10%.
The Imperator
Increased the rate of fire by 120%.
Increased the damage from 85 to 90.
Reduced the recoil by 25%.
Gameplay
Added the AFK kick, now players will get kicked from a match after being idle (and alive) for an extended period of time.
Fixed an issue when the revive sound could not be heard.
Fixed an issue when 4 digits after players' names were not visible during a match.
Items
Removed the flashing device from Deployable Shields.
Specter System duration increased from 20 to 30 seconds.
Fixed issue when drone abilities would reset after picking the drone up.

With this update, we introduce new Performance Re-Evaluation task events! If you didn't manage to get our Career Development weapons the first time — now you have a second chance to get them. Furthermore, if you completed everything on the first go, you can now focus on getting more parts for your weapons and unleashing their full potential!

Career Development 104 // Task Event — Feb 21 - Mar 3
Welcome to Career Development 104!
Evaluate your performance progress and get some nice bonuses — simply complete assigned tasks and you can pick up the ML-SMG 40 plus some Weapon Codes and Parts which are sure to boost morale.
In close-quarters engagements, controlling recoil is the difference between stitching patterns on the ceiling and successfully clearing a room. This ML-SMG 40 is perfect in a tight spot, shoots fast, and is easy to control. It’s little wonder this versatile weapon is a favorite amongst special forces and working mercs everywhere. For accuracy in up-close environments or when engaging an enemy at distance, the Merlin ML-SMG 40 delivers rock-solid performance.
For the time being, ML-SMG 40 will be an exclusive reward for Career Development 104. However, later on it will be available for Credits on the Marketplace. So, if you want to be among the first to try this SMG on the battlefield, complete the first task, and it is yours!
