New Adalar Units!


We added 4 new playable Adalar units for free! They are not with their final 3D models but it will allow you to test new strategies and deck compositions! Let's introduce them:

Barada


Passive - Sadism: Barada is healed every time he deals effects damage (like poison) to a visible unit.

Q - Toxic arrows: Inflicts elemental damage as well as poison to the affected unit.

E - Tranquilizing arrow:
On himself:
Barada becomes immune to crowd control effects.
On ennemies:
If thrown at a target, it puts it to sleep which prevents it from performing actions. The unit wakes up if it takes damage.

R - Lethal Gas: Sends a gas bomb into the area that ignite all effects of the affected units and they instantly take damage.

Trixie


Passive - Revenge: When Trixie dies, her mount avenges her and deals damage to the unit that killed her.

Q - Bloody whip: Inflicts elemental damage as well as bleeding to the affected unit.
If the unit is bleeding, Trixie jumps on it and inflicts damage and bleeding to the adjacent units.

E - Strangulation: Inflicts elemental damage, immobilizes the target, and reduces the damage dealt.

R - Wild Charm: Charms the targeted unit. The target unit follows Trixie for the duration of the charm, or until it takes damage.

Maoro


Passive - Webbed prey: Maoro deals additional damage to units affected by a control effect.

Q - Sledgehammer blow: Inflicts physical damage and pushes the unit 3 tiles back.

E - Caught: Throws his web in one direction and brings back the first unit hit. It can send the unit back to a tile and inflict physical damage.

R - Weaving spider: Place an invisible weaving spider. When a unit steps on it, it is trapped and suffers elemental damage.

Adnar


Passive - Striking speed: Adnar's damage is increased by his extra velocity.

Q - Ambidextrous strike: Strikes the target twice, dealing physical damage and reducing his healing. If Adnar is invisible, it also applies bleeding.

E - Infectious Poison: Inflicts physical damage and poison for each bleed on the target. If Adnar is invisible, he can charge at the target or at an empty tile.

R - Perfect camouflage:
Passive:
If Adnar is invisible, he retains his camouflage even if he leaves the square where he became invisible. When he is not invisible, he gains velocity.
Active:
Sends a smoke to the area around him, All affected units become invisible and incapacitated as long as they remain in the smoke.

New assets


New boosters have also been added to allow you to explore new strategies and thus diversify your games. There are :

Item Horn - The cooldown of your items is reduced to 0 and you gain a charge on each consumable.

Investor - When you have less Khinas than your opponent, the chests give you extra Khinas.

Bloodthirster - When one of your units kills an opponent unit, it recovers health points.

Preparation - When you have less Khinas than your opponent, you get a consumable item each offensive turn.

Protected opening - When one of your units captures a chest, it gets a shielded.

Maxmimum Health III - Your units gain extra life. They regain a small number of health points each turn.

Shield of Prince Lothys - You get the mythical item, the Shield of Prince Lothys. It reduces the damage taken by units around the wearer. If you use the item, the wearer gets a shield that can block heavy damage.

Sword of Amanaka - You get the mythical item, the Sword of Amanaka. Grants physical mastery, hit points and piercing resistance to the wearer. When used, inflicts damage to affected units. If these units die from the blow, the wearer obtains permanent physical mastery.



New features


Some gameplay features have been changed as well. We hope you will like this upgrades, do not hesitate to give us your feedback about those on our Discord server.

Unlimited inventory - The loot window has been removed in favor of an unlimited inventory that you can expand when you want to see and equip your extra items.

Blocking - Chest channeling can no longer be interrupted if damage is absorbed by a block. If the damage exceeds the remaining shield, the unit will still be interrupted.

Duration effect calculations - The calculation of duration effect control ratios has been revised to be more accurate.

Interface window status - The "Bonus/Malus" and "Statistics" blocks of the units during a game will keep their open or closed status between games.

Sentinel Luxiole (Adalar) - The Sentinel Passive Luxiole has a new 3D model.

Draft - Unit Tooltip on Hover: Hovering over units during the draft phase will now display their skill details.

Bugfixes


And finally, as always, we have fixed various bugs you may have reported to us via on our Discord server.

Traps - Ground objects such as Luxiole (Sentinel) or Chests will destroy the traps they are placed on.

Blocking - Shields will no longer absorb damage from effects over time on the turn after the blocking ends.

Tile Conflicts - Units now suffer the strength of the unit that pushed them, not their own strength, in case of a tile conflict.

Akuyandi E - "Heave Ho!" Now inflicts the intended damage of the skill, not the strength of the unit being pushed.

Mastok E - Mighty Slow: Now deals the intended damage of the skill, not Mastok's strength.

Chaksa R - A Lothys Retaliation: Rooting can now be purged.

Irisha E - Toxic Surprise: Landing on an anemone after a jump or push will no longer send the unit into slide past the battlefield.

Kaya E - Glue: Fixed a bug that prevented the "Flammable" state from spreading burns properly on targets that were wet.

Sinna R - Barf: Fixed a visual bug that constantly displayed the R "Herb Feed" icon even when R "Fish Feed" was active.

Movement - Fixed several bugs with move skills and moves that could result in units not being playable or being saved on the wrong tile.

Options - Closing options on a tab other than "Graphics" no longer displays an empty page when the options are reopened.

We, the team of Atypique Studio, wish you a happy new year 2023!
And to start the year well, we have added some new features on Noara: The Conspiracy.

News features


Custom games:
We have added the possibility to create custom games! You can create public rooms, accessible to everyone or you can protect it with a password. Set the password yourself and send it to your friends to challenge them.

Custom rooms are not included in the general ranking system. So you can play against each other as much as you want, without having to worry about your MMR!

Global servers:
We have set up new international servers so you can play Noara wherever you are! By choosing the right server for you, you can enjoy Noara: The Conspiracy without any latency! To play together, two players must be on the same server. You can select the server you want to play on when you launch the game.

Modification


Login Screen: The login screen has been redesigned! A randomly chosen unit from Noara: The Conspiracy will visit you just before you just before the start of the game. The new screen will also allow you to select the server of your choice.

HOTFIX #6

Hello everyone!

Thanks to your feedback, we have quickly set up this Hotfix today, which solves the few problems in game. Thank you all for your time in reporting these issues so we can fix them quickly!

FIXES


• Missive: Fixed a bug that allowed to get Akuyandi as a backup with only 1 missive.
• Chests: Fixed minor bugs related to opening chests.

MODIFICATIONS


Units


Floyd: The combo of Floyd's Q "Talion Strike" and E "Adalar Fortress" allowed him to push an enemy unit infinitely between an obstacle and himself. The skill has been changed to prevent this from happening.

Old E "Forteresse Adalar": Increase resistances by 50% but becomes Anchored. The status effect lasts until the end of the turn, if Floyd moves or reuses this skill.
New E "Forteresse Adalar": Increase resistances by 50% and blocks up to 100 damage. The status effect lasts until Floyd moves or reuses this skill.

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT | THE SERVERS ARE REOPENING



Hello everyone!

Here we are at! After several months of hard work, we are very proud to announce the reopening of the servers of Noara: The Conspiracy!

The whole team apologizes for this wait which was longer than expected.
We sincerely thank you for your patience and support throughout this time. We have worked really hard and are pleased to be able to present the result to you, today.

Enough chitchat, here is the new features!

• The Bloody Khinas mode arrives : This new 1 against 1 mode combines fun, strategy and accessibility.
The goal is simple, you will have to collect a total of 3000 Khinas before your opponent to win the game. For this, you have two options, you can seize the chests that appear randomly on the battlefield, or even eliminate all enemy units.

• A new deck building system : The new Bloody Khinas mode offers the possibility to create your deck before the game. You will be able to create your army of 6 units among the 25 currently playable. Do not hesitate to create and test several compositions to find the one that best suits you!
A default deck is also available for those who wish to postpone the theorycraft.

• A mini tutorial : To make it easier for beginners to access Noara and get started, we have set up a mini tutorial that will explain the basics of the new Bloody Khinas mode.
For those who would like to know more about the Bloody Khinas mode, you will find on the home screen an explanation video that presents the rules of the game in more detail.

• AI mode : This mode will allow you to test your compositions and army synergies before you rub shoulders against confirmed strategists. AI is a great way to get your hands on Noara for the first time.

News Dev | Updated 2022/2023 Roadmap

Hello Folks!

The Ladder Rush Challenge, the first competition on Noara, has just ended. Thanks to all the participants for their implication and their seriousness during these 3 weekends of competition. A next edition is already planned and we can't wait to see you fight against each other.

As you know, the game went Free-To-Play almost 3 months ago. The battles of the last few months, as well as your many feedbacks, have allowed us to collect precious information to improve the game experience. You have been heard and here is the Roadmap for the coming year!



As you can see, this is a lot of work. As a small independent team, we will not be able to keep up with the updates that our community wants to see.

That's why, as of Wednesday 08 June, the game's servers will be temporarily closed. Don't worry, the wait won't be long, as the servers will reopen regularly.
The goal of this decision is to bring together many of you over the same period of time and to allow you to fully enjoy the new features and improvements of Noara.

Of course, we will keep you informed of the progress of the game's development between each server closure. And during the opening phases, we will be very attentive to your feedback in order to build the best version of NOARA!

HOTFIX #5

Hello folks!

First of all we wanted to thank you for your participation in our first session of the Ladder Rush Challenge!
Session 2 starts tomorrow but before launching it, we fixed a lot of small things, partly thanks to your precise and precious feedbacks on our Discord server and we thank you for that!

Performance


Some patches are applied to increase the stability of the game.

Matchmaking


The matchmaking has been revised so that players who join the queue first will not systematically be the first to attack (team 1).

Balance and additions


MMR System
The whole Noara MMR system is revised and not just for the Ladder Rush Challenge. From now on, winning a game will grant you 25 points and losing a game loses 15 points, regardless of the total score of your opponent.

Units
Kapal
Their price goes from 200 to 250.
Passive “Blood Drunk”: The damage bonus related to the number of bleeds on the target is decreased from 20 to 10.

Krogz
Their price goes from 150 to 200.

Chaksa
Her Speed is increased from 4 to 5.
Q “Twin Moons”: Physical damage per boomerang increases from 60 to 80.

Namleh
Passive “Unusual Bravery”: Stacking Damage Bonus increases from 10% to 15%
Q “Amazing Shot”: The damage dealt is now seat damage.

Tiwangi
Its price goes from 300 to 400.

Objects
Exceptional gloves
The physical and elementary mastery given by this object decreases from 50 to 40.

Flaw-seeker
The amount of ignored resistances decreases from 100% to 50%.

Boosters
Combat Mastery Scroll
The speed bonus is removed. The damage bonus increases from 20% to 25%.

Defence Mastery Scroll
The buff also brings a bonus of +100HP now.

Inner Mastery Scroll
Strength and resistance bonuses are removed. The buff also brings a +1 speed bonus now.

Castes
Lothys
Bonus 2: The HP bonus increases from 40 to 60, and the physical mastery and elemental mastery bonuses increases from 20 to 40.
Bonus 4: The HP bonus increases from 120 to 140, and the physical mastery and elemental mastery bonuses increases from 60 to 80.

Amber blocks
Their HP also increases from 400 to 800 and their physical and elementary resistances go from 0 to 30.
Amber blocks are now considered structures and are more sensitive to siege damages.



Silos
From now on, the secondary silos will give more Khinas per turn.

Main silos:
Level 1: 60 / turn
Level 2: 130 / turn
Level 3: 210 / turn
Level 4: 300 / turn

Secondary silos:
Level 1: 90 / turn
Level 2: 195 / turn
Level 3: 315 / turn
Level 4: 450 / turn



Team 2 Advantage
From now on, the team playing in second their offensive turn (team 2) will start the game with their main silo already built.

The Ladder Rush Challenge starts now!

You've been waiting for it for a long time, it's finally here! The very first official tournament starts today on Noara: The Conspiracy!

The 1st session starts today at 5pm (CEST) and will end at the end of the night on Saturday at 2am.
As a reminder, the next weekend slots are:
- Saturday 5pm (CEST) / Sunday 2am (CEST)
- Sunday 5pm (CEST) / Monday 2am (CEST)
You will have the chance to win the exclusive rewards and the cash prize of €1000.

The games will be played in 2v2 on the special "Ladder Rush" mode only. You can participate in the tournament without forming a team but we advise you to do so! Patch Notes #1.5.0

Hello everyone!

We hope you are well! Before the launch of the Ladder Rush Challenge for the month of May, here is the 1.5.0 update of Noara which brings several improvements, bug fixes and new content additions.


New features



Ladder Rush mode
We have added a special "Ladder Rush" mode so you can join the ranked games for the tournament. This mode of play will be active during the tournament time slots. The cumulative score (Points of Honour formerly MMR) will be reset to zero at the end of each tournament. The top 100 players will be awarded prizes at the end of the tournament.

Kalinga
A new base model (rework) and 2 new skins replace the old version of Kalinga!



In addition to his Singular Caste, Kalinga belongs to a new caste: the Queen Caste (currently available in 2v2 mode only). This caste is exclusive to Kalinga and gives bonuses to all your units when deployed. As with the King Caste, these bonuses disappear when Kalinga dies.

Queen Caste:
Gives +1 velocity to all your units. In addition, the damage they deal ignores 30% of the target's resistances.

Kalinga's price increases from 1500 Khinas to 2000 Khinas, and its base velocity decreases from 5 to 4.

Shop
New Kalinga Abyssal and Kalinga Albino Skins: These 2 new skins are available in the "Collection" tab but will also serve as rewards in Ladder Rush mode (see Ladder Rush Mode above).

New Iwobi, Babingi, Mana and Sawangi Abyssal Skins: These 4 new skins are available in the "Collection" tab.

Interface
The menu from which games are launched has been changed to allow for faster navigation.

Maintenance warning
A new maintenance warning system has been implemented. From now on, when maintenance is due to occur, players will be able to see a message warning them of how long they have until the update takes effect.

When a maintenance is deployed, strategists still in-game will be disconnected for a short time to avoid game version discrepancies.


Balancing and additions



Ranking
The term MMR has been replaced by Honor Points (HP).

2v2 mode
Improved the matchmaking system to make it easier for players to find games.

Units
Tooltips now show the ratio of elemental mastery and/or physical mastery to skill damage and healing. This information is also available in the Codex.

Babanga, Babingi, Chaksa and Sinna Passive "Not Dead Yet!:
SFXs added

Babanga W "Round Trip":
SFXs added.

Rajang R "Venomous Charge":
The elemental mastery ratio is reduced from 100% to 30%.

Cast
King: Caste no longer offers the 20% damage increase bonus. Instead, unlocking Caste offers 50 to all resistances of all your units. The 100 HP heal remains unchanged.

Items
Tooltips now show the range and cooldown of items. This information is also available in the Codex.

"Water Barrel" and "Large Water Barrel":
Added a 1-turn cooldown to these two items.

Bastion Capabilities
Added SFX to most Bastion abilities.

"Stunning Gong":
The 5th Management Round no longer features a Stunning Gong.

Puzzles
"Saving Private Nariah":
For this puzzle only, Mastok's velocity drops from 3 to 2.

Units
Akuyandi Q "Meteor Strike":
Fixed the tooltip that showed the skill dealing 400 physical damage to the targeted unit and 100 physical damage to adjacent units instead of 500 physical damage to the targeted unit and 150 physical damage to adjacent units.

Akuyandi W "Heave Ho!" :
Fixed a bug where if Akuyandi used certain projectile-sending items, then selecting another unit during the projectile's path, it would put Akuyandi's "Heave Ho!" w on recharge.

Babanga W "Flying Knee!" :
Fixed a bug that caused Babanga to sometimes not deal damage to units that had just lost "Prepared" status.

Chaksa W "Toxic Pearl":
Fixed a bug that caused the duration damage dealt by the puddle to benefit twice from the elemental mastery ratio.

Floyd Q "Talion's Strike":
Fixed a bug that caused Floyd to be unable to use his Q "Talion's Strike" on his square when he was incapacitated or anchored, even when those states disappeared.

Irisha Q "Toxic Anemones":
Fixed a bug that caused some players to have their action grid close each time they used the Q.

Kalinga Q "Deadly Waltz":
Fixed a bug that caused a Kalinga using this skill on the chest, a blocker or an enemy silo to become unplayable.

Fixed a bug that caused Kalinga to still gain her invisibility damage bonus even when revealed.

Kalinga W "Mimicry":
Fixed a bug where when an enemy unit entered the square of a stealthy Kalinga, it would only take an attack of opportunity dealing 80 physical damage 4 times instead of 90 physical damage 4 times.

Now correctly heals 10% of his total health points, not his base health.

Kalinga R "Dark of Night":
Fixed a bug where when Kalinga used his skill while aiming at a square occupied by an invisible enemy unit, the skill had no effect and would reload.

Krogz R "Take Cover!" :
Fixed a bug that caused an allied Krogz to not lose the damage reduction buff conferred by another Krogz's "Take Cover!" skill when taking damage.

Mana W "Odd Mixture":
Fixed a bug that caused the duration damage dealt by the puddle to benefit twice from the elemental mastery ratio.

Fixed a bug that caused this skill to deal multiple damage to structures if multiple squares were hit.

Nariah W "Visco-Slide":
Fixed a bug where sometimes Nariah using "Visco-Slide" once while vertical through some silos could not use it a second time to cross it.

Fixed the tooltip that indicated Nariah was dealing elemental damage on her second use of the skill, when she was dealing physical damage.

Pirh Engineer W "Springboard":
Fixed a bug where placing the W "Springboard" on a square occupied by an anemone from Irisha's W "Toxic Surprise" would not destroy it.

Fixed a bug that when the Springboard was placed in a bush, it could crash the game.

Rajang R "Venomous Charge":
Fixed a bug that caused the duration damage inflicted by the puddle to benefit twice from the elemental mastery ratio.

Sentinel Passive "Lighting Bug":
Fixed a bug that when the Lighting Bug was placed in a bush, it could crash the game.

Sinna Passive "Not Dead Yet!" :
Fixed a bug that caused the embryo to have 280 HP instead of 250.

Items
Fixed a bug that caused an item icon to remain frozen on the interface when the game window was minimized while the item icon was dragged, making it impossible to use the items afterwards.

Leaf Spring:
Fixed bugs that could occur when a unit was killed while using a Leaf Spring. This also affects the basic Leaf Spring on the battlefield.

Fish Armor and Old Fish Armor:
Fixed a bug that caused the aura given by these items was not cumulative.

Superior Spyglass:
Fixed a bug that caused the revealed area to be wider than expected.

Alluring Octopus:
Fixed a bug that could prevent the Octopus from attracting units to the edge of its area of effect.

Bastion Ability
Sand Wave:
Fixed a bug where it was possible for a unit to avoid the effects of the wave by simply moving it on impact.

Retreat! Retrait! + Ballista Shot:
Fixed a bug where using these two abilities simultaneously could block the use of units.

Monolithic Throw:
Fixed a bug that when a rock with this ability was thrown into the fog of war, you could still move a unit to one of the squares occupied by the rock.

Puzzles
General:
Removed the sound of a Khina gain when a unit is killed during a puzzle.

Fixed a bug that caused us to not receive messages sent to us when playing in Puzzle mode.

Minesweeper:
Fixed a bug that sometimes caused the puzzle to end prematurely when it was still possible to complete it.

When It All Goes Pirh-Shaped II:
Fixed a bug that caused you to lose when you completed the puzzle too quickly.

Honor Points
Fixed a bug where even when winning a game, it was possible to lose honor points (formerly MMR) by quitting the game on the screen that displays "Victory".

Offside
Team Invitation:
Fixed a bug that could occur when the team leader would disconnect when the invited player accepted the invitation.

Fixed a bug that when changing window during the introduction cinematic at game launch and then returning to it, the sound would lag.

Fixed a bug where when you were out of the game window and then returned to it, all the sounds that were supposed to play when you were out of the window would play at the same time.


Visual Bugfix



General
Friends list:
Fixed a visual bug where when sending an invitation and it was accepted, all names in the friends list would glow.

Units
Silicia:
Fixed a bug that caused Silicia to get stuck in a running animation when she experienced the "Immobilized" state while moving.

Irisha Q "Toxic Anemones":
Fixed a bug where if you used Irisha's Q once and then immediately moved her afterwards, she could get stuck in run animation.

Iwobi W "Big-Game Fishing":
Fixed a bug where Iwobi could get stuck in run animation when moved too quickly after using this skill.

Pirh Engineer W "Springboard":
Fixed a bug where you could see the construction of Springboard placed by enemy Engineer Pirhs even when they were in the fog of war.

Items
General:
Fixed a bug that caused the icons for items equipped to enemy units to appear larger than the icons for items equipped to one's own units.

THE LADDER RUSH CHALLENGE IS COMING TO NOARA!

Hello everyone!
We're excited to introduce our newest tournament, the Ladder Rush Challenge!
Every weekend for 3 weeks, competitors will battle it out to reach the top of the ladder and win fame and fortune!

Each weekend, you will get the opportunity to win €1,000 in Cash prize for a total of €3,000 over the whole event. But that's not all, you'll also have the opportunity to win skins, exclusive portraits, Sarme coins and a chance to become the first crowned strategists of Noara: The Conspiracy!

ORGANIZATION


This first edition of the Ladder Rush Challenge will take place from 13 to 30 May.
The competition is divided into 3 championships over 3 weekends in a specific time slot (see dates/times below).

Each competitor will have to accumulate a maximum of PH (points of honor) in order to take the lead of the ladder specially designed for the event and win the weekend's rewards before the ranking is reset for the following weekend!

To participate, nothing could be easier. Once the event has started, click on "PLAY" then select "Ladder Rush" in the PVP mode, choose solo or duo and you're in! All that's left to do is to face and beat the other competitors during the allotted time slot!

At the end of each weekend, your honor points will be locked in as well as your ranking. The 100 players with the most honor points will be awarded the prizes.
We will communicate the results at the beginning of each week, after the end of each Rush weekend.

Ladder Rush Challenge: The 3 championships will be open only on weekends in the period from 13 to 30 May during the following time slots:

1st championship:
• Friday 13 May from 5pm to 2am (CEST)

2nd Championship:

FAQ:


- Only players who select the "Ladder Rush" mode will have their honor points counted towards the competition ranking.

- If the game crashes or your teammate disconnects, you will unfortunately not be able to ask for a rematch nor change your ranking.

- The Ladder Rush leaderboard will be locked at the end of each evening at 2am CEST.

- All games starting before 2am (CEST) will be counted in the leaderboard.

- The ranking of the winners is determined by their honor point score after the anti-cheat check is done by our dedicated guards. Only the first 100 best players will be offered prizes.

- It is strictly forbidden to lose voluntarily to favour another team (to put it simply: no trade win!). We will take this seriously and cheaters will simply be banned from future Ladder Rush Challenges.

- Multi-accounting is allowed. You can play with multiple accounts and multiple friends when participating in the Ladder Rush Challenge. However, if you have multiple accounts in the top Ladder, please note that you will only receive rewards once!

- The leaderboard is reset at the beginning of each weekend.

- In the event of a tie between two players, the number of wins and the number of games will be compared in order to break the tie. If there is still a tie, the Sencha Goddess will draw lots before making the verdict public.

- Cash prizes will be sent in EUR via PayPal or bank transfer.

- Rewards will be sent to each player directly in-game via Steam after the end of each weekend.
