Free to Play Transition Patch

Hello everyone

As mentioned in our previous post, the game's transition to the free-to-play model will be completed soon.

This patch will include some bug fixes and improvements for the major 0.5.2 version

Fixes:

1- Fixed wolves constantly chasing players.
2- Fixed an issue where items from zombies usually spawn ammo.
3- Fixed shadow performance issues.
4- Fixed some objects and buildings popping up while moving through the map.
5- Fixed farming always needs a light issue.
6- After the plants are planted, you don't need to plant a new one, if you harvest the plant after its growth has passed, the plant starts to grow again.
7- The bed with a respawn point in the swamp section allowed the character to get stuck with very little possibility, this has been fixed
8- Fixed too many rainy day cycles and reduced their probability
9- Some animals on the map got stuck on rocks, this has been fixed
10- Fixed all objects on the map that appear to be detached from the ground
11- Fixed some visual bugs

Added:

1- A new NPC, Trader. With this NPC you can sell your resources and can reach faster than hard-to-reach things in the game. (He is located at Swamp Area)
2- A new item has been added to the game, Coin. Which is the current currency of the game.
3- New materials were added to the chest at the start of the mission.
4- Water Resources have been added to certain parts of the map once more, now you can locate them by looking at your map.
5- Map icon showing where the Military Barrack is located.

Exclusively for players who have already purchased the game



Two character skins and Three equipment skins will be gifted to players who already bought the game. This will happen ASAP after the free-to-play transition has been done.

(A small note, there is a very long time difference between us and Steam, so there may be delays in the introduction of exclusive content to players. Shortly after Steam notifies us of the free-to-play transition, this content will be automatically released to players who have already purchased the game.)

Character skins can be found by scrolling through the character selection section on the lobby screen.

Other equipment skins can be used forever by purchasing only 1 coin from the trader in the game and their stocks are entered in a way that rarely decreases.

(A small note, weapon skins and normal weapons in the game have the same function, but they are not the same type of items. So, for example, if you want to use your skinned M4 weapon, you have to use a skinned magazine.)

We would like to thank everyone who has approached us sincerely and provided positive and negative feedback so far.

Discord and Mail Support will be ended also after the free-to-play transition has been done.

END OF THE ERA

Hello Everyone

I am breaking this long silence to announce a message that unfortunately ended badly for us. On this path we set out exactly 2 years ago, unfortunately, the final result we encountered was neither as we planned nor as we imagined.

For 2 years we have been doing our best day and night, but we have not been able to overcome the biggest truth, which is finance. We have not been able to make a single penny of profit from this game, let alone achieve financial success. this may sound strange to you, because I doubt how many developers you have seen such a sincere and transparent message.

I can't even describe how sad it is for us to write such a message because we had a project with dreams and expectations and I believe that one day we will be back again, but until that day, unfortunately, we need to convey what we have experienced recently.

I have survived since the last major patch by going through partial depression and thanks to the love of my friends. even this major patch we could have never released because we were already financially collapsed, despite this, this question was asked on our discord server, although we answered it, I see that we have seen that some expressions such as (scammer) are used about us in the discussion forums here,

Under the first major patch we released, we actually mentioned this situation, we did not get the support we wanted (i.e. we could not overcome this situation financially) and unfortunetly we stopped the production of nowhere for an indefinite period of time to avoid further losses! and we do not have the obligation to continue the production process of the game in order not to make more losses from this situation in which we are making a loss, this is a business and this business has hurt us a lot financially.

Please allow me to be more specific

According to the current data of the game, we have 44K wishlists and the life time conversation rate is 4% these values are well below the steam avarage. this was not a voluntary organization, that is, everyone working here was earning monthly money from this job, taxes, insurances, monthly extra payments, company expenses, outsourcing costs, etc. we started not being able to meet any of these for the last 3 months and we decided to stop the game.

This is exactly the truth behind the work. no one tried to deceive anyone or make a profit with this. players who have been following us since the demo already know our determination to work.

How many hot fixes we made for each bug, how hard we personally worked to improve the experience of the players on the forums,how hard we worked to improve the experience of the players, how hard we worked to make major patch radical changes that we released for 3 months even though we were making a loss, and thinking that people would support it in the hope that people would support it, all but all of it happened because we could not overcome this financially. The game development process and everything we planned didn't work out the way we wanted it to.

Unfortunately we couldn't change the price policy for events that were planned well in advance, but in the future I would like to announce that this final version of the game will be open to everyone completely free of charge. it is a business that has not made a penny of profit and we are still suffering financially from this, but we have never and never set out on this path because of fraud or anything like that.

Nowhere Major Patch 0.5.2 Hot Fixes 3

Hello Survivors

Below are our fixes for all the bugs and visual glitches our community reported to us after the Major Patch release


1- Added respawn points ''Bed'' to map on these areas: Downside of the Elevator, Highway Market, Swamp Area, Fishing Village, Duga Lookouts (if you want to spawn on that area next time when you die just need to interact with them)


Ps. You can only set one respawn point this is mean you can always change your respawn point but only last one you selected will be your respawn point


2- Adding more enemies and Anomaly to the Map

3- Delete some of the unnecessary crafting requirements from recipes

4- Change Wooden Axe durability from 100 to 250

5- Fixing the infinite climbing issue which allows you to teleport your player highest peak of the map when jumping

6- Fixing the Crafting timer issue on the viewport

7- Fixing multiple Respawn Points always spawns you on the first selected respawn point

8- Fixing Damages for ranged weapons.

Based on Body Parts values like these:

Head: 80 Torso: 40 Arm: 25 Hand: 15 Leg: 25 Foot: 15

9- Change some words in Turkish Language

10- We are adding more variety loots for Animals such as like fat and leather not need to harvesting with axe or pickaxe it will be appear on loot section when kill the animal

11- Change Some recipes and way you make them For Example: Nails can be produce from Survival Benchs now

12- Adding Elevator sound

13- Chance to spawn ammo and scraps Increased

14- Decreasing Iron Ore Respawn time when they depleted

15- Added more loot to all areas

16- Added more brightness to nighttime and cloudy weather

17- Increased Volume of Ambient sound

Hello! The 5.2 patch has been released.

Major Patch Features


Map Expand


Map expansion with new areas. The new map is four times larger than the previous one.

Swimming System


Introducing a swimming system for players who want to explore the sea. More updates for underwater events and lootable items are planned.

Climbing System


Added the option to climb stairs, setting the foundation for future use.

Special Note Slot


Created a special slot for notes relevant to the story, allowing players to access them at any time.

Inventory Management


Quality of life updates based on player feedback, including auto-stack for split items, the ability to take all items in a chest, and store all items in the chest.

Fully Customizable Map System


Users can place their markers on the map, making it customizable and user-friendly.

New Design for Interaction UI



Redesigned the interaction UI for a more modern and keyboard-friendly experience.

Item Updates


Updated the shapes, areas, and definitions of around 200 items for better gameplay.

Added the basics of a mission system to help players progress. Feedback is appreciated for further improvement.

With this update, we've added many fixes and improvements. However, we'd like to share some known issues with you.

Known Issues

In multiplayer sessions, players might trigger 'location objectives' remaining from completed missions, potentially causing early location objective triggers.

In the HUD, a crafting process timer has been added, but there's a chance it might stick at full progression. It should disappear once the crafting is done.

Some AI units may be unresponsive.

Players joining multiplayer lobbies might occasionally experience being stuck. If this occurs, you can reset your character using the "K" key.

We are aware of these issues and are actively working to resolve them. If you come across any additional bugs, please report them to us on Steam or Discord.

at the end of a very long and tired period as indie developers of our size, we are here with the new patch with our shortcomings and excesses

This patch includes a lot of Quality of Life and the basics of newly added features, so let's take a quick look at what we've added

Major Patch Features

1- Map Expand

Map Expansion with new areas. The game's new map is 4 times larger than the previous map

2- Swiming System

We brought new mechanics to the game, for example, the swimming system for players who want to use the sea (This System will receive more updates, there will be events that we can do under the water or items that we can loot)

3- Climbing System

Apart from this, the option of climbing the stairs, which is very much demanded, has been added, although it is not much use at the moment, we wanted to lay the foundation now because you will use it a lot in the future.

4- Special Note Slot

We know you don't want to carry notes on your person, so we've created a special slot for this part and turned all the notes that are relevant to the story and that you want to go back and read into something that you can access at any time once you've interacted with that note

5- Inventory Management

There are nice quality of life updates that we have made by evaluating every feedback you have sent to our forums and discord server here, for example, the auto stack feature for your previously split items, or the feature of taking all the items in a chest you find, or the feature of storing all the items on you in that chest.

6- Fully Customizable Map System

In this system, it was something that many of our users wanted to be in our game, you can put your own markers in many places on the map opened by pressing the M key, except for the previously placed markers, and you can see where you are.

7- New design for Interaction UI

We are aware that the previous interaction design we used is a bit old-fashioned, we are aware that constantly interacting with the mouse and assigning all the interactions to a key was damaging the feeling that I was interacting with something in the game in our eyes, so we are designing this part from scratch and coming up with a design to use your keyboard more

8- We made updates to many items

We have changed the shapes of many previously added items (about 200 items) and the items we added later, the areas they occupy and their definitions

9- New Mission System

We have added the basics of our mission system to the game to help you progress in the game, this part still needs polishing, but we have the idea to bring it to a much higher level with the feedback we will receive from you.

10- Expand Lore and Story

We have deepened the background lore and story of the game a bit more and as we send updates you will have much more information about the game and its world.


11-Minor ImprovementsMany minor performance improvements, new rendering techniques in visual quality and other system updates, we do best we can



Developer Message

There are dozens of innovations that we planned to release this update but could not bring, and each new development brings with it much greater responsibilities. So if you want to support the game, now is the time to do so, because we will decide whether or not to continue with the game based on the feedback from this update. Hello Everyone

As you know, we have been working on the major patch for a long time, it is very difficult and tiring for teams of our size to bring such updates, but we are trying to bring them to you as quickly and accurately as we can.

Below are the exact things that are in the upcoming update



  1. We deleted the city part on the TIER 1 map and turned it into a village that is more in touch with nature. Since this place does not fit the ambiance of the place, we organized this place and made it more suitable for our lore.

  2. Significant updates have been made on the optimization side of the game, with which you will be able to see the diversity in nature and the resources you interact with more frequently, without distorting the visuals

  3. In this patch, we have introduced the new Trade system with the NPC you will encounter in the game (In Tier 1 we think the number of this is one, but as the map grows, you will encounter dozens of traders due to both resources and the nature of the game)

  4. Fully Customizable new map system new point of interest locations

  5. We have made serious accessibility and quality-of-life improvements on the User Interface side. We have added many new functions to the inventory management system such as reordering your items, taking all the items from another container or putting them back there, and automatic stacking.

  6. We have added a new interaction User Interface, now instead of using a mouse roll, we have made them much simpler and kept the keyboard interaction a little high, such as picking up with press E and hold E for equip, and also without taking an item, for example if it is a weapon.

  7. We've introduced new Items, most of which are now on the resource side, such as new consumable items and crafting materials.

  8. We will introduce a new mission system with a clear outline, which we think is ideal for guiding you and ideal for capturing story sequences. this is a part that will develop as the game develops. let's keep this place hidden for now to avoid further spoilers

  9. We have designed a special section for the main menu and Documents, for example, with this, you will not have to carry the notes you read in the game on you, we have designed a section where you can access the notes whenever you want.

  10. We are adding the Dismantle and Scavenge Mechanic to the game, you don't have to pick up an axe you see on the ground, you can now dismantle it for this. Also when you come across a pile of metal while traveling through the game, you can scavenge it and find valuable materials for you.

  11. We have completely overhauled Stone and Metal Structures and changed their appearance, in addition to this, we aimed to add a little more depth to your structures in the game by adding new columns and windows, I hope you like it.

  12. We add new decor, such as tables, chairs, and cabinets. The cabinets will also be able to store things in them.

  13. We've added a naming option to your existing crafted chests.

  14. We have simplified the farming part a bit, taking it away from the simulation side and making it a bit more player-friendly

  15. Revolver, AK-47, Shotgun, and bow and arrow weapons.

  16. We will bring new parts to the weapons, such as a laser pointer and a silencer, one of which will increase your weapon's recoil, while the other will lower it, allowing you to take down enemies more silently.

  17. We are adding two new enemy types that we don't want to show for now because they are still WIP

  18. The swimming system and the underwater system that will come with it, we still need time for this because we need time to design not only the surface but also the underwater surfaces.


As soon as the new patch is released, we will open our public road map Trello page to users, from here you will be able to follow what will come for which patch on what we are working on.

Localization will come on this patch too: Our first priorty adding Chinese,Russian,Ukranian,Portuguese,Spanish on this patch

Also a note: contrary to popular belief, we have not abandoned or quit the game, I think everyone has a misconception about this because the development team is exactly 3 people and all of these large-scale updates are time-consuming. We are updating more often on our Discord server and we take the time to observe or answer your valuable feedback as much as we can.

0.4.0 Item Dissaparing - Save/Load HotFix

Fixed the issue in the last update where you couldn't view and use items after saving/loading.

Unless you delete your existing saves, you can continue with all your items from where you left off.

Ps. We took a save from an old patch and tried it personally as a team, all our items were in place as they were in the old patches.
