Nuclear Dawn Update Released
The update notes are below.
For dedicated servers, this update is optional, but highly recommended.
Improved spawn logic:
Fixed cases where player wouldn't automatically spawn after their selected spawn was destroyed.
Fixed cases where player wouldn't be completely spawned (bad view offset and missing model, weapons, etc.).
Fixed bots always preferring spawn closest to enemy bunker, even over commander-selected default spawn.
Bots are now always added to end of respawn queue.
Humans are now always placed before bots in respawn queue.
Reduced base brightness for Thermal Vision.
Fixed bots attempting to use Supply Stations that aren't powered or otherwise unusuable.
Fixed artillery being able to fire before being fully built.
Fixed multiple (but not all [:|] issues where a structure could be built where it shouldn't, such as on top of other structures, of own team or otherwise.
Fixed a bug that could allow commanders to build bunker structures from assembler or vice versa, including after assembler destruction.
Fixed a bug that could allow commanders to research armory research items from bunker or vice versa, including after armory destruction.
Fixed in-armory class changes sometimes not working when armory was not on even ground.
Fixed Soldier tutorials not properly changing player subclass during Exo and Support training since 2015 armory class change exploit fix.
Commanders now only gain half XP for following their own orders.
Added even more stability fixes from other Source engine variants.
Enabled con_logfile ConVar.
Added bullet_impact server event.
More stability fixes.
Nuclear Dawn v7.2 Update Released
The update notes are below.
For dedicated servers, this update is optional, but highly recommended.
Greatly improved Assault class's thermal vision interaction with Weapon Suppression gizmo on Assault Rifle.
Fixed structure damage being miscalculated when structure is attacked by another structure or at times with grenades/missles/REDs.
Fixed a crash that could occur when spawning after a round is over
Fixed bots being counted in total players required for a surrender or mutiny vote to pass.
Fixed a few rare client and server crashes.
Decreased memory usage in some areas on both client and server.
Switched MOTD panel to use Steam's HTML rendering rather than directly embedding Chromium, effectively updating it to a much newer and more secure version of the same. (This also fixes some crashes that would occur on Mac and Linux).
Added numerous security-related fixes from other variants of the Source engine.

Nuclear Dawn Dedicated Server update released
An optional server update has been released with the following changes:
Fixed issue with wall regeneration causing walls to require a single high amount of damage to destroy them when nearing low health (rather than continuing to accumulate damage).
Fixed a crash that could occur when selling Sonic Turrets.
Fixed a crash that could occur when R.E.D.s detonated.
Fixed an exploit that could allow instant class/subclass changes when not near an armory.
Fixed Poison Command Ability not dealing damage in affected area.
Updated Bad Santa achievement to be attainable any time during December and January.
Additionally, the Authoring Tools have been updated to fix a crash issue when running the game in -tools mode.
Thank you to yed of NDix for assistance in identifying causes of some of the issues and helping test fixes.
Nuclear Dawn tournament
Although development has stopped for the game, one of our fans created a brand new map for Nuclear Dawn, which is going to be part of an upcoming Community created Tournament for the game.

Hotfix update released
A game update has been released with the following fixes. Servers do not need to be updated.
Fix crash when downloading maps upon server connect on Mac and Linux.
Fix multiple mouse-related issues as commander on Mac and Linux.
Fix Authoring Tools such as Hammer crashing on launch.

We have just released Nuclear Dawn Update 7.1 with full support for OSX, Windows and Linux.
Hello everyone, we've got some news for you!
- You may not have been aware yet but this game supports Steam Workshop. In this Update we have made several improvements for this feature.
- Another major addition, is that Linux players can now play against Mac and Windows players.
- We have also fixed several language options !
Here is the complete list of fixes and additions for Nuclear Dawn update 7.1:
General:
- Enhanced Linux support for the game to allow Linux players to play vs Mac and Windows players.
- Fixed Russian and Czech Languages not being selectable in Steam game properties.
- Fixed minimap placement issues that would sometimes occur after resolution change.
- Fixed issue where commander could get stuck on a ladder.
- Fixed sonic turret fire range being slightly shorter than lock-on range.
- Whitelisted r_decals client convar by community request.
- Improved overall stability.
Community-created Content:
- Updated Workshop map instructions link.
- Added missing “Final” Hammer compile configuration.
- Fixed typo in hammer fgd file causing Empire wall and barrier issues.
- Fixed client crash when subscribed to Workshop file that no longer exists or has been made private.
- Fixed server crash that could occur when attempting to sync Workshop maps when Steam was down.
- Fixed uploading maps of size > 100mb to Workshop.
- Increased individual user Workshop storage quota to 1gb.
- Greatly improved client subscribed Workshop map sync time on game launch.
- HTTPS map downloads with self-signed certificates now work.
- Clients now automatically download game server Workshop-synced maps directly from Workshop on connect.
- Map support files (scripts, loading image, etc.) now get automatically”bspzipped” into the map before upload if not already in map.
Nuclear Dawn Linux Beta is Live!
Nuclear Dawn update 7.0 is now available as a beta, including client support for Linux.
