We are back with another dev log! There are some really exciting things in store for you guys and coming sooner rather than later... get ready to get excited!
Prepare to Explore the Summit
A new area of the planet has been discovered and is being prepared for your exploration!
Vulcan's Summit is hot - super hot. I guess you could say the open pits of lava might be responsible for that. Discover new wildlife, a new mining location, and even take a peek at Duyi's lander while you're wandering the summit.
Make sure not to miss out on the "coolest" part of the summit however - there is a natural hot spring! With a little bit of fixing and questing, you can get the hot springs up and running to relax in and recover stamina.
Cows, Chickens, and... Robo-Cows and Robo-Chickens?
You wanted Robo-Cows. You're getting Robo-Cows!
The long-awaited livestock feature is starting to look like it belongs on your farmstead. With a barn and special fencing to keep them contained and safe, you'll soon be able to have your own little herd of friends on your farm. Just be careful to not get stuck in the gate!
If you want to be a normal farmer, you'll be able to get your cows and chickens through the resident animal lover Dirk. We know the truth however... you want to visit Aaron to get some robo-livestock.
If you haven't done so already, we would love to see your honest thoughts on the game with a Steam review. Reviews can make a huge difference for indie games and we love seeing what you think!

One Lonely Outpost is part of the Steam Spring Sale!
Hi everyone!
If you were thinking about getting the game, now is a great time to do so as we are part of the Steam Spring Sale! From March 14th until the 21st, the game will be on sale for 40% off! Make sure to check out Freedom Games' Steam Spring Sale page to pick up some great games to play.
It's high time we begin sharing some of the awesome things in store for all of you as the game is being developed. Today is a perfect day to start sharing as one of the upcoming features definitely fits today's atmosphere - dating!
Introducing Sally!
We know her lander snuck in and has been making you all very curious about the new NPC that has been hiding. Well, wonder no more!
Sally is the colony’s shy but capable psychiatrist, counselor, and first responder. She's known to trip over her own feet sometimes but despite that special skill, she is a very reliable community member.
Although she hasn't actually landed yet, you'll get to interact with her - and even romance her! - in a future update.
Romance & Dating
After building a relationship with a romanceable character and reaching 60 relationship points (we will go over this next time!), you’ll be able to craft and gift an omni-bouquet to them to trigger a special dialogue to begin dating.
Keep in mind you’ll only be able to date one NPC at a time, so choose carefully!
Once you are officially dating an NPC, you will be able to hang out with them on the Farmstead! Aaron, Eve, Linny, Dirk, Sally, and Fadhili will be the romanceable and datable characters in a future though there are many more that will come as the game development progresses.
All the unique cutscenes are still in progress for most, but Aaron and Linny will show you a full dating experience once the update comes out - minus marriage. Marriage will come later on.
If you haven't done so already, we would love to see your honest thoughts on the game with a Steam review. Reviews can make a huge difference for indie games and we love seeing what you think!

Get your space boots on and get ready to explore a barren planet and make it your home - now is the perfect time to begin your adventure to new lands.
One Lonely Outpost will be 50% off and the soundtrack will be 20% off from Jan 24-31!
If you haven't done so already, we would love to see your honest thoughts on the game with a Steam review. Reviews can make a huge different for indie games and we love seeing what you think!
We know you guys are itching for new content while the team is hard at work on fixes and general improvements. It might not be new content in the way you are hoping, but today we bring something to share that we think is pretty exciting - a UI overhaul is in the works!
Left: WIP - Right: Current - These images are not final and are still subject to change.
Although this is very much still in progress, we wanted to share it with the community and get everyone's thoughts. Two of the main goals with this are to make menus easier to read and make them easier to navigate (especially with controller!).

The last patch addressed the memory leak and stutter problem, but many of you reported issues with creating the Piranha Drone and the unrefiner with the update. This patch will let you craft your Piranha drone without issue.
As for the unrefiner, it isn't technically implemented in the game yet despite the PGP mailing you one along with the blueprint. Someone at PGP must have snuck it into the outgoing mail without us knowing. The unrefiner will be fully implemented in the next update!
Check out the patch highlights and notes below to see all the improvements, fixes, and changes.
