Open Mod 2024.1.08 [21-ian-2024]

Fixes:

-fixed an issue where the Shield would not be placed on the back of the player when not equipped. You probably didn’t know it should be like that anyway but now it’s showing on the back of the player as it should, giving the player some back cover when its not equipped

Added/Changed:

-made the lights destructible only by bullet for now in Suburb Realtime map. Nothing too fancy yet, a vfx will play and the light material will switch to a non emissive one + the light will be disabled. We’ve also enabled shadows for those lights, so regardless if you are on the performant no shadows preset there will be shadows on this map because otherwise the realtime lights will leak through walls. Expect a big performance hit on this map. This map is targeted for high end players who want to have some destructive light fun! We will continue progressing on this map and push it to final version in time. But we need feedback on performance in the meanwhile, that’s why a test map is present in the main build.

Open Mod 2024.1.07 [18-ian-2024]

Fixes:

-fixed a huge issue where fields of view would not work properly when a player was in a lobby in shooting range or on the actual maps

-fixed fixed an issue where lights would flicker when player was moving

-fixed an issue where most of the weapon reticles would be white

-fixed an issue where the new post processing would not work for Deferred rendering path

-fixed an issue where the dual render hybrid scope would have 2 reticles when toggles

Added/Changed:

Open Mod 2024.1.06 [18-ian-2024]

Fixes:

-fixed a big issue where the doors would open slightly while player was kicking them with the leg while moving forward

-fixed an issue where if a door was locked and the player would reach the door knob, the player would be able to see through the door if he got too close to it. Same was to door leg kick, if the kick was done while moving the player would slightly clip through the door until it was destroyed

-fixed an issue where the messages of “press [f] to interact with door handle” and “press [f] to release door handle” would overlap for a little time

-fixed an issue where some suppressor sounds for secondary weapons would be too long and play even after the shot

Added/Changed:

-decided to make the attachment and weapon textures back to their full resolution, even if more RAM usage is involved, we’ve got high quality textures but due to the crypto miner suspicion we’ve decided to ‘dumb them down’. That was not the best decision, we have great textures and you guys deserve to play with high quality textures. Who doesn’t want high memory usage should downscale the textures from settings

-MAJOR graphics improvements: the Screen Space Ultra Quality Lighting Enhancement effects are much more complex containing added sharpness, better bloom, better tonemapping, realistic saturation, realistic anamorphic flares, better exposure, auto exposure and more!

-made FSR sharpness to 0 by default since we’ve added a sharpener already in the SSUQLE mentioned above.

-added a setting in customize menu left lighting menu which gives the player the ability to turn on or off the Screen Space Ultra Quality Lighting enhancer for the customize menu only

-reworked the color filters from post processing section, they used to have too much brightess variance, now all of them have similar brightness

-made the default post processing color filter to none

-removed the Forward rendering path because it was limited (every light could light only a limited number of objects) because we are working on destructible lights and that requires many realtime lights in the scenes. Forward+ doesnt have this limitation.

-the realtime version Suburb map was added in-game to get feedback on performance. The lights are not yet destructible but they are realtime. The map is called “Suburb Night Realtime”

- reworked the post processing effects from the weapon customization menu, from the weapon preview window and the player model/animations preview window

-removed some extra lights from the weapon preview window section that were making the preview look too white and weird

-pushed the multiplayer version up due to changes. This means players that did not update to this version will not see lobbies from players who updated

Open Mod 2024.1.05 [16-Jan-2024]

Fixes:

-fixed a big visual issue where if we looked at another player and he had a knife or grenade equipped, we would see a bunch of weapon parts hanging in air

-fixed an issue where smokes and more things did not reset properly between rounds when playing elimination and heist

-fixed an issue where the Reload Empty 3 of PR-9 pistol would have 0 times, meaning that it could be canceled after 0 seconds

-fixed an issue where the helmet camera GUI would overlap with the between round times victory screen or when the player was in customize menu

-fixed an issue where if the player was using helmet camera and die the death camera would not work properly

-fixed an issue where the glock foregrip would sometimes show on our weapon in hands even if we did not have it equipped

-fixed an issue where the nightvision goggles would not show on the head of the player if they were using the helmet cam

-fixed an issue where the camera would still not go into fp view when spawning after spectating

-repositioned the watch because it was clipping through the player model cloth

-fixed an issue where the watch display would not work properly if player was using left handed mode

Open Mod 2024.1.04 [15-ian-2024]

Fixes:

-fixed a game breaking issue where if a room was created with the same name as an already created room, the GO button would lock and not unlock unless player restarted the game

-fixed an issue where if the player died while having nightvision goggles on then he would spectate with the nightvision post processing on

-fixed an issue where if the player died while holding a door then he would spectate with the “press [F] to release door handle” message

-fixed an issue where the first person death camera would not function properly since we’ve made spectating on helmet cameras

-fixed an issue where the weapon was not looking right when spectating another player

-fixed an issue where there would be some errors throwed and slowing down the game when spectating someone and they’d have a variable zoom scope equipped

-fixed an issue where when spectating someone and they would aim the weapon would not go in the right position (near the eyes)

-fixed an issue where the Victory screen would show for a little bit when loading from shooting range to the map

Added/Changed:

-changed the spectator GUI to not look out of place, instead of an orange square it now displays in the left side of the helmet camera GUI

Open Mod 2024.1.03 [13-jan-2024]

Fixes:

-fixed a game breaking issue where the player would be able to spawn instead of going into spectating mode when joining the game mid-round

-fixed a confusing issue where the chat between round time (when we did not have a player) would be hardcoded to T and Y and the keybinds would be ignored. Now the keybind is taken when we don’t have a player as well

-fixed an issue where the player would throw some errors when spectating someone who opened their tablet

-fixed an issue where the watch would not update the round timer correctly when spectating someone

Changes/Additions:

-made spectating use only the helmet and body cameras, no more fp view when spectating

-removed the Solo Search, Create Lobby and Lobby Browser buttons from PvP section because most players would misuse them. Right now there is no need for such matchmaking options since the game does not have a playerbase. Players should only use the lobby browser to look for games at this time.

Open Mod 2024.1.02 [11-ian-2024]

Quick hotfix to game-breaking issues

-fixed an issue where the customize menu would throw some errors and some attachments would be overlapping sometimes

-fixed an issue where the arrows indicating the floor of the extraction point would be bugged and not indicate properly

Small changes

-replaced the ‘blood screen’ with a gradient solid dark red screen. We believe the old blood drops were annoying

Open Mod 2024.1.01 [10-ian-2024]

-fixed an issue on zombies map where the lightmaps would be broken and some objects would look out of place because they wouldn’t get proper lighting. Same for our player which was not lit well

-fixed an issue on zombies map where zombies could go through a door

-fixed an issue where if the lod bias would be set to 1 some weapon parts in the customize menu would have the low poly model visible

-fixed an issue on Extraction game mode where the AI would still respawn behind players and killing them. Now the AI will not respawn, once you kill all 48 AI in the room you’re free to loot everything

-fixed some exploits where players could climb on some objects and see through the ceiling in Bunker map, there are still a few left to fix, will do for next update

Open Mod v2.025 [30-dec-2023]

Quick hotfixes for game-breaking issues

-fixed a big issue with doors where leg kicking would look weird for the other players, they would see the door disappearing then teleporting. Now it kicks properly, just like it works for ramming or C4-ing

-fixed an issue where if someone would leg kick a door our player would have a different layer for the hand. This was supposed to happen only for the leg kicker

-fixed a big issue were the player would sometimes remain with left hand hanging in air while opening a locker door in Bunker map

-fixed a big issue which caused the openable drawers to not slide well sometimes in Bunker map

-made the tabet button (TAB) close the text chat and lock back the cursor

Open Mod v2.024 [30-dec-2023]

Quick hotfixes for game-breaking issues

-fixed an issue where the tablet would be drawed again and go in chat mode if the key bind for global text chat was on Enter key

-made the default bind for global text chat to T

-fixed an issue where if the player switched between global radio and team radio chat the tablet would not show the message

-fixed an issue where players could kill each other in the shooting range with knives or grenades

-fixed an issue where the melees and grenades would be invisible when we looked at another player

-fixed an issue where the deagle would have its parts visible if we had another gun selected

-attempted to fix an issue where spawn blockers would not disappear sometimes for some players and they would be stuck in spawn. We couldn’t reproduce this issue but we’ve tried to force them off. If you encounter this issue again please report a bug in our Discord

-fixed an issue where doors would not reset properly when starting new round
