The voices used currently for NPC interactions are just placeholders/experiments while working on the lipsyncing system. With the new lipsync system in place it will be easy to just keep improving on voices without having to re-animate every time.

Exciting new patch update for Organosphere! Improving the December event and other areas of the game. Thanks for your support, and we can't wait to hear your feedback!

1. Stats PDA now shows total Christmas beetle count instead of only just total bug count. [For both relevant achievements]
2. Xmas Present achievement pickups are now displayed on the mini-map with off-map waypoints. [Look for the "Gift Tag" icons in the map]
3. More health kits to be found inside office.
4. Can now escape the cemetery if one accidentally finds themselves inside it. [User reported issue]
5. New achievement for finding a way inside the cemetery. It was never meant to be accessible, but since it is - thought it would make a cool "secret" rather than a bug.
6. New loot opportunities inside cemetery.
7. Added missing colliders to tombstones inside cemetery as well as improved tombstone texture maps.
8. Christmas beetles are still as abundant[Until 9 Jan], but now deal 5 X LESS damage.
9. Made shotgun have a more realistic range of +- 30 meters instead of +- 100M which it was previously. [For some reason]
10. New "Spawn Vehicle" Icon in inventory.
11. Made useless scrap metal in inventory temporarily invisible, the game will still store & save as its own unique variable for now with the intention of developing it into a separate crafting system.
12. Optimized inventory rendering code. [Not that it makes a huge difference since the game is essentially paused when the inventory is active, but just as a matter of good coding practice.]
13. New achievement for locating a singular and ultra-rate shotgun shell tree near the taxi rank.

Attack Of The Killer Christmas Beetles

Organosphere V0.9.4.5 is a holiday update for the game that introduces a new event, Attack of the Killer Christmas Beetles, which offers players the opportunity to score big and dominate the leaderboard. The update also includes a number of game fixes and improvements, as well as festive touches throughout the game and three exclusive achievements available until January 9, 2023. All regular score points have been increased by 25% as a special holiday bonus, and there are more holiday surprises to come.

Also including a bunch of game fixes and necessary improvements - a stocking stuffer of an update.
1. Dangerously dumb Christmas beetles with bonus score multipliers.

2. Bonus Xmas present collectibles for even more score. [Can you collect all 13?]

As I've been trying to focus on one aspect at a time lately, instead of putting out massive updates with long lists of various changes - this update focuses on optimization.
The previous update focused on audio, and the one before that focused on graphics. This update focuses on performance.


- Optimized animations, wasp and insect transforms
- Optimized scorpion & insect mesh skeleton
- Optimized textures and assets
- Optimized code & update loops
- Removed unused code, refining existing update methods. optimizing meshes, making as many small adjustments as possible to increase performance

Additionally:
- Made scorpions collider disable quicker
- Made mini-map disable when game 'Disable HUD' option is selected
- Made repetitiveness of radio distress signal lower
- Made volumetric fog not show on lower graphics settings such as medium/low

Next up will be a cinematic update, focusing on cutscenes and game lore. As well as a new ending cutscene. [No spoilers!!!]

1. Enemy in-fighting - SHOULD their paths overlap - bug type enemies will now attack the soldier enemies and vice versa, instead of them all just ganging up on you.
Almost always resulting in victory by the soldiers with guns, of course. Stingers are not much of a match for assault rifles, as many players will already know.
2. Fixed issue with enemy headshots not registering 100% of the time. Now hitting a headshot will always trigger an instant kill.
3. new motorcycle vehicle, this motorcycle will help you move through tight spaces more efficiently than any other vehicle, and more importantly - unlike
other vehicles, it can be spawned at any location using the cycle spawner located in the inventory.
4. Improved game appearance
5. When using god mode cheat, you will no longer earn score points.
6. Score modifier now set from 2X to 4X - go wild!!
7. Added a few more character vocal "quips"
8. Added more details to the arcadia, including a new sleeping quarters for the player [Marked on minimap] where you can rest and recuperate from missions.
