Xmas Event
Hello everyone!
We will be shutting the servers down for a quick server-side hotfix at 15:00 (CET). This hotfix will make sure that the event content is available to everyone!
The Xmas Event brings some holiday themed activities and changes to Lambda Mall:
Enjoy the new snowy look of the mall.
Help Kervin get rid of robbers trying to steal from him.
Ensure that the orphans of Oyster House get their presents before it's too late.
See to it that lights on Xmas trees are shining without issues.
Collect tokens for helping everyone in need and return them for U|Space rewards.
Also, don't forget to check the store for festive costumes!

Otherland: Next getting better and better and new stuff coming!
With the recent release of the large Fire Isle expansion, various improvements to the game and the addition of legendary weapons we are now continuing to make Otherland: Next better. With the new UI coming we also now further improved the game’s performance and will release the often asked after soundtrack tomorrow on Amazon, Deezer, Google Play Music, iTunes, Spotify and other major online music platforms.
To make jumping into the game easier for new players, we are now also releasing two starter packs available on Steam containing useful things for a better start at highly reduced prices.

The goal of this patch is to improve the overall visual quality of the game and fix many of the potential FPS issues on 8Squared and other big maps.

This small patch fixes several terrain issues we had on the Fire Isle and adds support for hyphen and underscore symbols on the login screen.

Bug fixes
The halloween content was disabled. It's too late for that.
Fire Isle cinematics no longer have Tpose characters running around.
The Fire Isle has a pier again.
"Hunting Clay" is now pointing to the right location.
"Head Hunting" trigger has been increased and improved.
"Reinforcements" can now be returned to Orlando in the Monastery.
The portal under the deck (on the Taisa's ship) should now work correctly.
Fixed an issue that caused portals to disappear from the players list.
The portal at the end of the game tutorial should be usable again (either by interacting or getting close to it).
Introducing OTHERLAND: Next with big Fire Isle expansion and lots of gameplay improvements
Today we are opening a new chapter in our OTHERLAND story! We are excited to announce the release of the long awaited big Fire Isle Expansion with 90 brand new quests and ten new areas for you to explore!
Along with the expansion we are making a major update to the game with massive improvements to the performance, the introduction of the social class and legendary weapons. There even will be a new UI design coming shortly.
We have worked really hard to bring the game to the next level and therefore have chosen a new name that signifies this step: OTHERLAND: Next!
Maintenance extended until Monday
Unfortunately we have to extend our maintenance until Monday. As we wrote earlier, we are not only implementing the big Fire Isle expansion, but are also working on several major improvements including server infrastructure upgrades.
There are however some delays on that front that are beyond our control and as much as we wanted to have everything in place for the weekend for you to play, it will take the entire weekend to make sure that everything runs smoothly.
Please bear with us a little longer and thank you for your patience and understanding.
Fire Isle expansion is coming & server downtime
We will bring the Otherland servers offline tomorrow morning and they will remain offline for up to 2 days until Friday in order to prepare them for the upcoming Fire Isle expansion.
This time around we need an extended maintenance timeframe as we will also update a slew of other elements as well as perform lots of tasks of technical nature, not just update for new content.
We are sorry for the inconvenience and short notice.
