Since releasing Ouroboros: Prelude I have had a mass of communications on all platforms. A LOT more than I anticipated. It may take me a while to get through it all. I apologize in advance if I miss anyone. I did not anticipate a level of popularity like this. :P

Mini-Update No.2 is now implemented
Next update will most likely be sometime tomorrow or the next day. I have been working non-stop and now is time for some much deserved rest. I expanded and fixed the Help Menu to reflect all controls (namely, the zoom feature and how to read notes).
I hope you all enjoy the fruits of my madness. Stay sane!

Ouroboros: Prelude - Alpha Release
Ouroboros: Prelude is finally available for Early Access after two years in the making. Two years of hard work, long hours, mind-numbing amounts of code, and pure madness.
Great pains were taken to put as much of the final product into this game as possible. I have ironed out almost every bug and so far only a few rare and non-game-breaking bugs remain.
This is technically a full game but until I implement all features and quality upgrades I personally cannot consider this game "complete."
The game is playable from beginning to end. It is very possible albeit very difficult to reach the end. It will take great stealth, a lot of patience, and a strong will to get there.
This was a two year journey from learning how to make games from scratch to having to rebuild the entire game from the ground up after data corruption to dealing with thousands of lines of code and bugs. It was almost as though this game was unmaking itself as fast as I was creating it. Somehow I was able to get it to its playable state as is available now. Quite a lot of blood, sweat and tears went into this game's creation.
Enjoy the fruits of my madness...
Stay sane!
Known bugs:
-Interactables sometimes jitter on still surfaces
-Doors sometimes jitter in their frames when in collision with obstructing objects
-Smaller non-important interactables sometimes phase through other objects
-Random but short-lived lag spikes -- doesn't seem to be as big an issue on more powerful computers
-Footsteps sounds sometimes do not reflect the object you're stepping upon
-Hang ups during level loading
Considered features yet to be implemented:
-Hint System
-More lore notes
-Mac Support -- almost done
-Better particle effects
-More scares
-At least one more creature
-Seamless randomization -- no level loading
-Difficulties -- for those of you who can't take the madness or those of you who wish an even greater challenge of your sanity
-Steam Controller Support
-VR Support
-Language Localization
-Voice Overs -- least likely but still possible and in the works
