GUI REBUILD PATCH

ALPHA PATCH 0.6 is now live

This patch redesigned nearly the entire game.

----Changes made----

----GUI---
The game now uses a system that displays item Icons.
Icons are interactable and can be moved around each of the panels. (re-organize bags, place items into the crafting panels for use, placing items into storage crates and trashing)

To move an icon, click on it once and then click the new location.
To transfer to a new panel. Click once then move mouse over to the new panel (A second click isn't needed)

All items do a resolution change check and replace items into panels on a resolution change.

Hotbar also does not require a second click and will add items by mouse over.

HUD has been changed and adjust. There are no more status bars. The HUD also uses an Icon system.

Hud Icons; Heart = Health, Bolt = Stamina, Drumstick = Hunger, Bottle = Thirst, Brain = Experience, Bag = Carry Weight.

Game loading text has been mad much larger.

Collect water text made larger.

New on-screen text added for when you level up (telling you to spend skill points)

--CRAFTING / ITEM USE--
All items need to be in your hotbar to be used now.

To craft you now need to place materials into the crafting panels.

There is now a personal craft tab and a workbench crafting tab. Most items need you to first make a workbench.

--SOUNDS--
Fixed menu music bugs
Added button sounds to crafting panels.
Fixed Ambient sound bugs

--MOVEMENT--
Add in button modifier to allow reverse rotation on all the rotation buttons.

--ENEMIES--
I have temporarily removed Human enemies to add stability.

--STABILITY--
The reason for the size of the patch is because I had to rebuild the entire game including a new exe to help add stability.

Australia Day

Happy Australia Day to everyone.
The game is 20% off for the Aussie day sale.

Weekly Updates

Hello guys and girls
This is just a quick one to let everyone know that the weekly Updates will be moving from the News announcements section.
I will be creating a new thread in the discussion forums titled Update blog that I will be posting to moving forward.
With that being said I still might post from time to time using the announcements but mainly for the purposes of sharing screenshots.

Weekly Update

Hello again beautiful people.
This week I have mostly been working on the rebuild. This is because the rebuild has been moving along a lot quicker then I first expected. So, it made sense to not make things twice and just push the new version out faster.
I am very excited about the rebuild I have been adding in new stuff the live version doesn't have.
I have been working on getting multiplayer, voice chat, controller support and cross platform support working right from the start.
I have also been working on a newer more polished looking GUI because this was one of the main things you beautiful people requested.
You will probably notice the store page artwork change. This was because I reworked the logo for the rebuilds GUI. So, it just made sense to do both at the same time.
The new map is going to be 16,000 x 16,000. It will be a scaled down map of Australia. So, players aren't going to be restricted to the outback areas. If you want to walk over to where Sydney or Perth is on the map and build a base, you are going to be able to.
There is still a fair bit of work before its ready to release and my work is kind of all over the place at the moment. But everything is moving a lot quicker than the first time I built the game and looking a lot nicer.
As always if there is stuff you want added or fixed hit me up in the forums and have an awesome week people.
