Signs of Bigfoot... 1.2.9 Patch Preview
Howdy Outlaws!
It’s been quite some time since we’ve made our move out West. Heck, wasn’t it just yesterday when our carriage finally touched down after several weeks of travel across rough mountains, plains, and deserts?
Greenhorns we were, doin’ our darn best to survive in unknown territory, pining away for something greater than ourselves and the lives we left behind. Then when we finally stopped barkin’ at knots and got something of a settlement going, an unfamiliar creature, the kind that we thought only the crazy could go ‘n’ dream up, came at us!
That’s right - those darned Bigfoots! Or Sasquatch, or Hairy Bandito, ya’ll know what I’m yappin’ about!
The first sighting was frightful. We ain’t blamin’ Steel for running away, ain’t nobody expecting no giant man-ape to be lollygaggin’ about!
[previewyoutube="EteSesaoojs;full"]
We all thought it was horse feathers, but then there were more and more sightings. But hey, maybe they were just trying to welcome us and didn’t really know how to go about it? After all, it only kind of ran past Cletus, right?
[previewyoutube="BPfxfRxY9Rs;full"]
Hmmm, or maybe they’re not so neighborly. Zeus and crew tried to befriend one... as a pet? Well anywho, it sure wasn’t havin’ it!
[previewyoutube="UYGeeNCGbKE;full"]
Seemed like after Zeus and his gang took down a Bigfoot, the rest of ‘em got the message and left us alone… until now. There have been signs of them Bigfoots again, and we ain’t lettin’ them come to us this time! No, no, we’re on the hunt now, ladies and gents! ‘Cause this town ain’t big enough, no sir!
Winter’s not too far, and I reckon we can make some nice Bigfoot Hats to keep warm… perhaps even show ‘em who’s boss around these parts, and Mount 'em. ;)
Bigfoot will be setup to spawn in the alpine and mountain biomes and will be an aggressive creature with plenty of health and a nasty attack :)
Killing one will drop some gold bars and a special Bigfoot hat, along with a chance to drop a full-size Bigfoot mount.
The Bigfoot Hunt Event and Patch 1.2.9 is scheduled for October 28th at 10:00 am PDT.
