Overloop publisher Digerati is celebrating its 10 year anniversary with a big ol' Steam sale. It's time for some dystopian fun with a cloning gun – Overloop has officially launched and is available to download right now!
The future is a total dumpster fire. Turns out creating a cloning gun and then selling it to the masses was a huge mistake. What loopy scientist could be so reckless and irresponsible as to invent such a dangerous device? Oh, that was YOU! Oopsies.
Overloop is a short and sweet adventure set in a bleak-but-amusing apocalyptic world. Make clones of yoursef - up to four at once - and then sacrifice them with impunity to overcome deadly traps and puzzles. Succeed in your mission to overthrow the authoritarian regime of your former employer, Infinity Inc., to save humanity and - just maybe - redeem yourself. Get to it genius!

IT'S HAPPENING! Overloop will be launching on Steam in just a couple of weeks – 26th August to be precise! If you haven't already, be sure to add the game to your wishlist and you'll receive a reminder on launch day as soon as it's available.
In addition to Steam, Overloop will also be launching 26th August on a variety of other digital PC storefronts. Console versions will follow sometime after as well. No exact date yet, but - all being well - it'll arrive sometime in Q4 2022 on PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

NEW DEMO AVAILABLE NOW!
There's a new demo ready and waiting for you to download from the Store page!
It's been updated in time for the latest Steam Festival, which is now underway and runs until next Thursday, 7 October, 10am PDT.
The demo still consists of the intro and opening/tutorial level featured in the previous playable slice, and it's still all about making, using, and sacrificing clones, but it is significantly different thanks to a few key design and gameplay changes.
Here are some of the main differences from the previous demo:
The ability to double-jump has been removed
The opening/tutorial level has been completely reworked
The main character now wears a blue shirt, making him easier to identify as the 'original'
There's now an AI friend called Dennis to help you (at least, he says he's your friend...)
It's only possible to have one clone at a time for most of the demo
Clone gun must now be upgraded in order to create multiple clones (instead of being dependent on how many clone 'charges' you have equipped)
Wooooo!!! Overloop has won a thing – it's been awarded silver at this year's GWB Game Awards! Huge congrats to the dev team (aka Charles and George) at Charge Games – it's well deserved recognition of what they're creating with Overloop.
The GWB stands for 'Games Without Borders' and the competition is an annual event to find 'upcoming games that shine above the rest. It's not about the size of the team or budget – it's about passion, quality and creativity'. The winning games were selected by a special panel of industry judges, which this year included Mark Brown from Game Maker's Toolkit.

Watch new Overloop gameplay in The MIX Next showcase
Good news if you want to catch some new Overloop gameplay – we're featured as part of The MIX Next showcase event, which takes place today, 14 October, 11am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm BST.
The Overloop video includes commentary from developer, Charles Bardin (Charge Games), and offers an introductory look at the dystopian adventure, some of its early game puzzles, and just a few of the fun ways you'll be able to sacrifice clones.
We're not sure what time Overloop will feature during today's digital showcase, but the whole event is being live-streamed on Twitch, IGN and GameSpot. The showcase will include a whole host of games, with new gameplay reveals, and also new game announcements, so it will be worth tuning in!
