Hello Everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the pain party demo.
Sadly there was a small issue where the 2nd level in singleplayer didn't load and caused the player to crash back into the main menu. This issue has now been fixed.
Sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused.

Playtest update 3!
Today I'm happy to announce the third patch for Pain Party Playtest.
This patch contains a lot of additions, changes and fixes.
Additions
Added support for 24 players
Added two new weapons, the plasma cannon and time rifle
Added launch pads on two of the maps
Added hover platform
Added a new retro filter called Retro Plus
Changes
All levels have been tweaked to for better balance and more fun.
Charged jumps now drain different amount of stamina depending on charge level.
Full jump charge now drains 35 points of stamina instead of 30
Bug fixes
Various geometry and collision box fixes
You no longer get stuck in a fall state when standing on a enemy
Fixed bug on the level with the dancing NPCs that would only allow 4 players in multiplayer.
Fixed lasers going through the geometry on some levels

Today I'm happy to announce the second patch for Pain Party Playtest.

Added Friend invites (You can now join friend game via steam).
Added multiplayer selection screen, you can now select the level you want to play in multiplayer.
Added low res mode, aka soul mode.
Added damage to enemies, humanoid and robot enemies can now be killed.
Added time mines.
Changes
Changed gravity and player movement, there's now more overall weight and the player has less floaty jumps.
All levels have been tweaked to for better balance and more fun.
Jumping fishes have been nerfed.
Bug fixes
Various fixes with getting stuck on geometry.
Enemies won't try and shoot you if they can't see you.
