Week #42 Update



Hi yall!

We decided to put one more level out separately, opposed to our original idea of releasing the rest as one update! This is Misty Fields, and it will be placed as the second area of the game, after Devils Plains. Misty Fields consists of a town in a crossing of two highways, and some more nature-oriented areas with frozen lake and falls, and a field that leads to a small pond. Area is covered in pretty heavy fog but luckily you have your lights on! This is also still work in progress, so we would love to hear your opinion about it!







Other additions this week:

- Devils Plains Quarry area has been completely redone
- Automatic guns bullet assets reworked
- Skybox fixed for Devils Plains
- Chopper Defense perk makes it possible to destroy the chopper

Hi there!

Here is some new previews of one of the new maps (Motor Bay). It is inspired by Robocop style Detroit, LA (storm drains) and generally lots of movies like Blues Brothers.

Also, we have a car factory there that needs a name! Give us your best shots and we pick the best one to be name of the company on a big sign next to the car factory!

Week 41 update

Hello fellow players! Latest patch's biggest changes include perk deck organizing and experience points, but that's not all. More info below! Remember in the "Early Access" things are always a bit experimental and under construction, so please share your opinions about the changes with us.

Change log:
* Added: experience points (XP). Experience points accumulate as player does robberies and purchases stuff in the garage and car shop.
* Change: maps are now unlocked with XP. If you had already unlocked a map, your XP is automatically granted to match that map's XP goal.
* Added "Perk deck". You can optionally use manual order for the perks that are rewarded in successful robberies. Perks unlock as usable with XP. Use "Title menu > Perk deck" to change order in the manual deck. Then choose "Perk deck: Manual" in the Stage selection screen to use manual order instead of default random system.
* Added a low camera angle
* Added a car "Whale"
* Modified the shooting mechanics to be more accurate in submachine weapons (submachine gun, minigun, assault rifle, front fire). Guns have also longer shooting range.

Week 39 update


News! Don't worry, we haven't forgotten you, just been quite busy with developing and testing the current game and some ideas, plus building the next levels that will be added in the future. :)
In today's patch there's a new car, perk items, and more.

Change log:
* Added a car: Bird
* Added an item: "Bomb squad". An explosion kills nearby enemies each time crew has been picked up.
* Added an item: "Shock". Electric shock is dealt to cop cars that bump into player
* Added an item: "Health Steal". You get sometimes +1HP when crashing a cop car
* Changed "Death Touch" item so that now it activates only when crashing with turbo speed
* Changed "Speed bonus" so it now rises if you manage to get the bonus multiple times in a row.
* Added civilian traffic into level Devil's Plains
* Added optional setting "Difficulty: Hard". In Hard mode, there's no item rewards but you get +10% money from the robberies.
* Optimization (incl. the guide arrow to the next target appears faster)
* Minor bug fixes

Week 36 update



Hello there! There's new update patch available with a "Photo Mode" for all of you who like taking screenshots. You can find it in the Pause menu.

In the photo mode you can orbit the camera around your car in a paused situation and save pictures like the ones in this announcement.

Please share your greatest and funniest shots to the Steam Community. :)

Week 35 update


It's not even friday yet but the weekly patch is already available!

The main news: tweaking of the difficulty level continues. Now the bumps to other cars and to the environment deals significantly less damage. Please share your opinion if the game actually feels more or less likeable and fun this way. :)
There's also added a little timer for the getaways. You get a bonus if you manage to do your run in the given time. Don't worry too much if time runs out: you still get paid the regular reward like before. Like everything else, this too is still under development.
Lastly, the third main addition is that car in the picture, "Heavy van". Go give it a ride.


Short version:
* Game is now a bit easier: Cars take less damage from environment bumps
* Added Speed Bonus Timer for getaways: Player gets +20% reward if arrives in destination in time
* Added car: "Heavy Van"

Week 34 update



Hello again! This week we've been building new levels and experimenting with stuff like car headlights, weather effects, etc. Still work to do with those things, but meanwhile you can enjoy the two cars we just added to the shop section: "Buggy" and "French". There's also minor bug fixes and texture mappings done generally here and there. Have a nice weekend, and please keep posting your gameplay suggestions and comments in the forum.

Week 33 Update

Hi! This week more bug fixes and smaller features to make it more fluid!

* More options to toggle video effects on and off
* Option to change music during game (use Calibrate gamepad to map button)
* Option to change weapon during game (use Calibrate gamepad to map button)
* NPC AI tweaks
* Car physics tweaking
* Optimization
* Bug fixes

Along the weekly work, we are preparing the rest of the levels..here is a small teaser of one of the ones coming (not saying it will be the next one necessary but at least one of them :) ). Also, keep in mind that while Pako 2 is on early access, we will continue to fine tune the levels that are already out, especially cosmetic changes are on the works.

Week 32 update

Hi again! Yet another patch is available for download and includes:

* Added item: DRONE (helper drone that shoots enemies)
* Added item: FAST RECHARGE (your mods recharge faster)
* Added weapon: LAZY (projectile that crawls on ground)
* Added option to edit key bindings (Settings > Calibrate)
* Changed the camera to slightly wider view
* GFX improvements
* Bug fixes
