Heya bunbuns!
Here is the long-overdue 1.0.7 Update!!!!

Changelog:

  • Add save backup system in case of corruption: When saves are succesfully loaded, they are now copied as a backup version ("save-b.bunny" is copied as "save-b.backup-bunny") in your save folder (C:/Users/Users/AppData/LocalLow/Bunstack/Paquerette Down the Bunburrows/{steam id}). So if your save gets corrupted for whatever reason at one point, you can delete your save, rename the "backup-bunny" extension as "bunny" (for exemple for save-b: rename "save-b.backup-bunny" as "save-b.bunny", and your progress from the last time you loaded your save will be retrieved (instead of losing absolutely everything).
  • Fix save not being found by the game on the second start-up if Steam Cloud failed to initialize on very first launch.
  • Add true ending (?) dialogue
  • Added another `\_¨)==!:!
  • Fix bunnies moving towards carrots while being picked-up
  • Fix pathfinding around navigating two traps close to a hole
  • Fix Tourist achievement unlock condition
  • Fix 2 cheese solutions in W-21
  • Fix cheese home capture solution in W-26
  • Fix 2 cheese solutions in N-21
  • Fix 2 cheese solutions in S-21
  • Fix C-21 not being home-capturable
  • Fix completion dialogue conditions when interacting with Pillars
  • Fix bunny pillar in C-22 being destructible
  • Fix typos in dialogue (English)


Consequences:
As per these changes, some progress will be reverted from your saves so you get to experience the puzzles in their best version.


  • Undone Captures: W-26-1, W-26-2, S-21-1,S-21-2
  • Home Captures downgraded to Captures: W-21-1,N-21-1
  • If you saved while being in one of the following levels (or with a bunny from there on screen), you will be teleported back to Surface: W-21,W-26,N-21, C-20,C-21,C-22,S-21


I'll be out for the week-end and finally rest (if there is not some game-breaking bug~) so don't expect more soon!

Hoy buns!
First update since release~ Hope you're having fun!!

Update:

  • Change starting position of W-12 to prevent cheese
  • Fix Home Capture of C-18 not being possible
  • Fix S-24 being undoable
  • Fix teleport position
  • Fix Supporter Pack's Ophéline custome state being carried over between saves
  • Fix pause menu button sounds being triggered by the cursor through the portable computer
  • Fix cheese in W-21 (Modification of W-20)
  • Fix typo in a dialogue (English)
  • Fix bunny not consuming carrot they're standing on while in non-chase scenario, used to cheese N-19
  • Fix bunny preferring carrot leading to traps over exits, used to cheese N-19


Consequences:
As you will get used to, when level design changes are critical, some progress may be reverted from saves to ensure the player gets the incentive to experience the puzzle in its intended form.

That's thanks to Aliensrock who just introduced a lot of you to our game, thank you everyone!! Hope you're enjoying the demo~

Our Discord has also been getting hella busy (come join us!) with theory crafting, community feedback and even speedbunning with like 3 different categories?? On the DEMO???

With all that feedback, we worked on a lil QoL update~

Thanks everyone for your overwhelming positive feedback on the demo, it's been a blast to see you all progress through some of these hellish levels either on stream or on our Discord!

Before the Puzzle Fest wraps up, we have one last treat for y'all!
We just updated the demo with some cool polish~



Changelog:



  • Added idle animations for Pâquerette, Ophéline and the buns!
  • Added a lifting animation when capturing bunnies and picking up items!
  • Added lil Pâquerette animations when entering and exiting levels
  • Added some leaves particles on the surface~
  • Changed the aspect of bunnies from the second biome!



  • Changed initial position of the bunny in W-18
  • Added an unbreakable wall to prevent a cheese solution in W-14
  • Bumped the demo's max babies counter to 31, NOTHING CHANGED, it's just that one of you found a way to make 2 more??!!!
  • Fixed save file display when going over 100% (happens when you find babies we didn't intend ːmonstersmartː)
  • Fixed line spacing on the map's side info.
  • Fixed coloring of bunnies and levels text on map
  • Fixed UseItem key freezing the computer when on a tab other than the map
  • Fixed Pâquerette saying a line intended for Ophéline
  • Updated the sprite for Crossroads teleporting, it was a placeholder :B
  • Fixed a pathfinding issue where bunnies would run through elevators under certain circumstances
  • Fixed a navigation issue after using the computer's scrollbar


Also yes, the demo stays up after the Puzzle Fest and we'll continue to maintain it with the lastest QoL improvements, no worries~

NEW FEST NEW DEMO NEW MECHANIC NEW KEYART NEW BUNNIES OMG

Heya bunnies~
We're back with a ton of new stuff!
First of all, we're part of the Steam Puzzle Fest (it's already started!) (it lasts a week!!)
To mark the occasion, we just released A NEW DEMO of Bunburrows!

This demo is an abyss of new content:

  • NEW LEVELS: Past the 13 levels you've grown familiar with, you'll notice around a dozen new levels with some EXTRA hard ones!
  • NEW MECHANIC: Get familiar with the pickaxe, break some walls and reshape the levels to better corner the buns!



  • NEW MECHANIC: TUNNELS!! Bunnies can cross them, but you can't! Heck! those buns...



  • NEW BIOME: Bunburrows turns a bit ominous with the new Temple biome, already dig the vibe? Wait until you hear its soundtrack in-game~



  • SAVES: The demo finally features saves, no need to play the whole thing in one standing (spoilers it would be way too long with all the new content anyway!). The demo even supports Cloud saving!



  • NEW META MECHANIC: Remember the computer from our last bit of news? Well those of you who
  • really* explore every corner of the demo will get the chance to get an in-game glimpse of it and more! How do you unlock it? I won't tell you, maybe Ophéline will?
  • SECRETS: We crammed sooo much stuff in there that even some secrets slipped in and will keep you playing this demo for hours, literally!

As you may have noticed, we are also featuring a new keyart on the Steam page!



This might give you a taste of our upcoming new trailer but shhh I didn't tell you anything!!
