Today we’re opening the vault to Paradise Lost’s ‘Last Story on Earth Series’. WWII went very differently in Paradise Lost than the events we know from our timeline. The documents in the vault will help to paint a more detailed picture of the alternate world you’ll find yourself in when you play Paradise Lost. Plus, it doesn’t hurt to have some interesting content to keep you occupied until the game comes out!

The series will consist of a variety of historical documents that will be released every Monday and Thursday. Each document will shed some light on the mysterious events that lead to the nuclear wasteland that Paradise Lost takes place in. Some of the types of documents found in the vault are:
International newspapers
The personal letters and notes of people involved in various historical events
Military reports
Resistance intel
The underground newspaper of the Polish resistance
And more!
Each addition to the series will appear as a new thread on our forum and will be posted on Paradise Lost’s social media channels. Follow the series and become an expert on the history of Paradise Lost, discover the last story on Earth hidden in the shadows of the past.

Even though we’ve recently released so much new content for fans of Paradise Lost (a new trailer and gameplay commentary video plus the demo you can play right now as part of Steam’s Summer Game Festival), we wouldn’t be surprised if you’ve been left with more questions than answers. Paradise Lost is a mystery-adventure game after all!
But still, we’re very excited about our upcoming game and we want you to be as well, so we’re going to answer any questions you may have about Paradise Lost (without spoiling the story of course!) in a Reddit AMA.

It's finally here! The demo version of Paradise Lost will be available for 6 days—from June 16 19:00 CET to June 22 19:00 CET—as part of Steam’s Summer Game Festival. During that time, you’ll be able to begin exploring the desolate world of Paradise Lost and start on the journey through a mysterious, abandoned Nazi bunker.

Depending on the path you take in the demo, you’ll be able to explore different areas. There will be two main paths to choose from. You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the inhabitants of the bunker by examining items they left behind and to start forming theories as to what was happening the last time people were in the Nazi complex. By choosing one path or another, you’ll discover different memories left behind.

This is shaping up to be an exciting weekend for fans of Paradise Lost. Not only did gamers get a new trailer at the Escapist Indie Showcase on Thursday, but now that's going to be followed up by an exclusive gameplay commentary video premiering at the Future Games Show!
The new gameplay commentary video will reveal more of the mysterious bunker featured in Paradise Lost and will shed some light on the intriguing alternate history timeline of the game. We can’t promise that it won’t leave you with more new questions than answers though!
