I’d like to preface this by saying thank you to everyone who took the time to fill out the survey. The results gave us lots of insight into the community and help provide direction for future development. Included in the results are some standout responses that highlight why people may have voted the way they did. Thank you again to all of you. Now what you’ve been waiting for, here are the results.
Explanations
Rating 10: "Whenever I am unsure I can look up my questions and find easy answers from fellow players"
Rating 8: "It is a very positive community compared to some of the ones I've been in, but I feel like at the moment things have slowed down. It might just be because you guys have been so focused on bug fixes which is not a bad thing! I'm sure things will pick up soon when you guys start adding new features again."
Rating 8: "Some players don’t like hats, and that makes me sad for them."
Rating 5: "I didn't really talk with the community at all, i'm trying to have fun on the game that's all I need haha"
Explanations
Rating 9: "They are very responsive and active in the community and always positive! Keep it up you guys!"
Rating 5: "I don't have any experience with the moderators"
Rating 10: "The one suggestion I was sent got a moderator response, which I thought was cool."
Is there anything we could do to better the community?
"Keep working hard on new content! This will bring new people in and keep the rest of us coming back for more!"
"Community events could be good, like contests for certain park styles."
"From what I've seen, your doing quite well. Often talking to us to keep that up"
"I think it’s great already, small communities are the best communities."
"Continue using Trello, in fact, use it more."
What feature do you want in the game the most?
Please note that being on this list does not guarantee the feature will be added to the game. This is just a compilation of what you have asked for, though it will be taken into serious consideration. :) This little list doesn’t encompass everything asked for and doesn't go into nearly as much detail as some of you did in your submissions but I hope it gives you a nice overview. (you all rock!)

Update #26: House Cleaning
House Cleaning
Hello our Dino family! First – we hope everyone is doing healthy and well in this New Year. This is a quick Update, and truthfully, maybe unexciting for many of you. With that said we wanted to continue our transparency with the community.
We decided to do a major pass on some of our worst offending bugs, and then do a first pass update on the economy before implementing Mods. Now, the technical work for Mods has been completed and ready to go; it just felt wrong bringing new players into a game that had gained quite a few bugs since release. The challenge of adding new features is that one usually adds more bugs. This Update is termed House Cleaning because that’s what we’re doing, cleaning/fixing up the Parkasaurus house before putting in an updated economy and Mods.
We appreciated your amazing support and understanding during this recent bug fixing stage. On the outside, the bugs don’t look like much, but on the inside, they are a lot for the game! Here are a few of the more random bugs we fixed:
Update:
Great view up here!
This park is … dirty
Kentro-Sharks
Great view up here!
Turns out with the update to our custom Navigation system that the collisions within the roofs of many buildings was being seen as walkable terrain. This resulted in your employees thinking they could walk up high, and never being able to get down because of the elevation difference. Case in point:
This park is … dirty
We started getting reports of people’s parks being over-run with garbage. Well, that’s exactly what was happening. Our logic system for the janitors calculates all the tasks in their immediate surroundings, ranks them, and usually chooses one to do. This works most of the time. But there turned out to be a tipping point of garbage pieces (messy guests) where your janitor would become paralyzed with deciding what plastic wrapper or can to pick up. The result was them becoming confused and picking nothing up, leading to more garbage, leading to more confusion.
Kentro-Sharks
Do you ever hate it when your Kentrosaurus become Kentro-Sharks? An elevation bug for our dino friends entered the game where nobody really knew where their feet belonged. This resulted in dinos walking too high (especially new born babies) and also way too low. I will admit the scales swimming around the park looked cool, but unfortunately not practical.
To all you early supporters – thanks a ton. Don’t worry, we’re still thinking of something awesome to give everyone who has helped us in Early Access. Also, owning the game already means the price can never go up for you :)
Disclaimer: Any crazy features we write about might change in the Early Access
Happy New Year and a Parkasaurus Recap for 2018
The two of us at Parkasaurus want to wish everyone a Happy New Year for those who just celebrated! (we know some of you celebrate New Years later!)
2018 has been amazing for us - Parkasaurus entered Early Access and we have formed an awesome supportive community that is helping us towards a full 1.0 version in 2019. For those who have joined Parkasaurus as an early adopter: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. For those of you who have not yet purchased Parkasaurus - we invite you to come be part of the process. :)
As we start to do analytics for improving the in-game economy, I decided it would be fun to total all the various values from all our player's parks. 19.9 million toilet flushes, good job!
Version 0.612 Release Notes:
Version 0.612:
