CRT slider + bug fix. Update 89.

I added a slider to the CRT effect and I fixed an issue that didn't allow your crt settings to be saved.

CRT Update! New immersive retro effect.

I added a new CRT retro effect that makes the game more immersive imho, you can disable it in the options menu If you don't like it.

Other changes:

  1. Fixed an issue with some windows on the background being visible above other windows that where on the foreground.
  2. Changed the graphics for the window's and panel's borders.

Full release Version (v87)!

With this new version v87 the game enters full release, there are no major differences between this one and the last version only a couple of small bug fixes or details here and there.

With this new version I also increased the price by a little amount.

I will still support this game with bugfixes, so let me know if you encounter any.

Last day of discount!

This is the last day of the Endless Replayability Fest. Buy Planetary Exploration Company at the lowest price before I release the full version, after that I will increase its price.

Update v86, almost at full release:

This should be the last update before full release, after player feedback I will fix the remaining bugs that I hope will be minimal, and the full release will have no major differences with this one.

New:


1. Gamepad controls: now you can move the explorer using a gamepad.
2. Weapon features: various new weapon features to use in the weapons inventor.
3. Events: new story events.
4. Music: each screen has its own songs now.

Improved:


1. Symbols sprites: updated some symbol sprites.

Fixed:


1. Weapon invented on load: the weapon invented had errors when trying to equip it after loading a game.
2. Weapon invented upgrade: when choosing an upgrade for an invented weapon in a weapon box, the game had errors.
3. Missing items on event: when you didn't have the used item inside an event, the game showed errors.
4. Empty entity actions: some entities had no effects when choosing an action.

Preparing for full release and price change.

I am almost finished with the release of the full version of the game which will happen in a few weeks or less, and I am planning to increase the price by 1 or 2 dollars or so, I haven't decided yet, but I wanted to let you know so that you can buy it at a lower price if you want, the price increase won't be big, but it can't hurt to let you know. Have fun!.

1. Volume control: added a menu to control sound fx volume.

1. Quantity input: now you can also click on a symbol's image to increase or decrease quantities.
2. Tutorial: tweaked some details to make it better.
3. Button icons: added icons to buttons of the planet map screen.

Fixed:


1. Tooltips: added missing tooltips and changed others for clarity.
2. Events activated with keys: when you explored a sector, you could activate events withouth touching them, when you mixed keyboard movement and mouse click movements.
3. Event errors: some planet map and sector map events had errors.
4. Energized transfer: the "energized" property was not supposed to be transferable.
5. Roles window tutorial: the roles tutorial always opened when you opened the roles window, it should only activate the first time you open the window.

Update v84: more bugs fixed.

1. Eat tooltip: added tooltip for the "eat" symbol.
2. Weapon box location: the robot will not launch a weapon box below the robot, so its easier to see now.

Fixed:


1. Research tutorial broken: in the research tutorial, you could make the next workshop tutorial to not show correctly if you clicked the wrong button, so now you can click on only 1 button to avoid errors.
2. Exploration tutorial hidden: in this tutorial you could hide the button that the tutorial was refering to.
3. Destructable bar: sometimes when you started to destroy it, it wouldn't stop and the bar didn't dissapear even when you walked away.
4. Explorer sprite direction: the sprite did not change directions when using the keyboard keys to move.
5. Role window tooltips: added missing employee tooltips.
6. Fire employee crash: sometimes when you tried to fire an employee the game crashed.

Update 83: more quick bug fixes.

1. No fuel tutorial: added a new tutorial to explain what to do when you run out of fuel or armor.
2. Delivery job info: added tooltips to clarify how the delivery job panel works.

Fixes:


1. Enter button disabled: sometimes in the tutorial, the "enter" button on the map screen did not enable so you could not enter any sector.
2. Clock reset: the day clock did not reset on a new game.
3. Walk animation: the explorer walk animation did not always activate.

1. Tooltips: changed some tooltips to add clarity and more info.

Fixed:


1. Fire employee: the fire employee button did not work correctly in the hire window inside the base.
2. Ladder bug: when the explorer used the ladder quickly after entering or leaving the robot, it bugged the game.
3. Fully upgrade weapons: once you equiped a weapon in a sector, you could not keep upgrading it when you visited a new sector.
4. Sector events story: the story symbols did not show.
5. Map sector selector depth: the sector selector no longer shows on top of the background.
6. Hive crash: when you found a hive the game crashed.
