Discontinuance of Sale and Support

Due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be able to provide future support for this game. As such, we will be discontinuing its sale and no longer providing updates for it. Those who already own release versions of the game will still be able to play it. We would also like to thank the community for the feedback the game received while it was available.

  • Rotation of watermill, shipyard, and coastal artillery infrastructure should now load correctly
  • AI war and expansion behavior was improved
  • Some stuttering issues were fixed
  • Some memory issues were resolved

  • Borders of new settlements should now merge immediately with old settlement borders if they are touching instead of waiting for the yearly update
  • Taxation rates should no longer occasionally reset themselves on load in
  • Tile visibility for added territory should now update properly
  • A military unit creation bug the AI was experiencing has been fixed

  • A bug affecting the direction of border expansion has been fixed

  • Some data that was not being deleted correctly when exiting to the main menu is now cleared properly

This past week the following updates were made:

  • Settlements that share borders with other settlements from the same tribe will now draw on each other's resources if necessary
  • Placing infrastructure in disconnected settlements should now correctly only be allowed if the disconnected settlement itself has the resources necessary to place that infrastructure
  • An issue with supply wagon vehicle reinforcement was fixed
  • Minor menus that were previously incorrectly keeping their state between games will now work correctly

  • Some issues with sound effects have been fixed
  • Trees blink when selected by laborers
  • The border update code has been updated to reduce border lag
  • AI code has been modified to further reduce lag
  • The tutorial panel will no longer erroneously persists between games
  • Laborers can now gather lumber from outside the settlement borders provided they are supported by a supply unit with space available for lumber
  • Supply units can now be filled with an adjustable increment
  • Issues with graphing settlement data have been resolved

  • Infrastructure creation lag has been reduced
  • Some audio errors have been fixed
  • Some issues with espionage have been fixed
  • Small map creation has been adjusted to search for maps with sufficient starting spots if the original seed does not have enough
  • Initial treasury funds have been adjusted for each era
  • The infrastructure menu should no longer randomly close itself
  • The Government Notifications icon should now correctly darken when turned off
  • New saves should save somewhat quicker on normal and small maps
  • Targeted trees now highlight on hover when a laborer is selected

  • Shipyard placement, watermill placement, and coastal artillery placement has been improved
  • Attacking settlement centers now correctly causes civilian casualties and not just infrastructure damage
  • Units should no longer be able to capture a settlement without being in its borders or while its defense units are still alive within the borders
  • Captured infrastructure no longer has a condition greater than 100%
  • Unfogged AI settlements no longer become refogged on load in
  • Buildings of unfogged tiles no longer become invisible on load in
  • Climate change adjusted to prevent premature destruction of infrastructure near the coastline
  • Infrastructure ghosts should no longer briefly appear on load in
  • Stone mines and farms no longer set themselves to max occupancy when created
  • Land unit navigation has been improved to prevent occasionally navigating into the deep ocean
  • Ships can now navigate over the entire ocean instead of just the deep ocean
  • Ranged units can now target your own settlement
  • Supply trucks correctly display the targeting reticle
  • Targeted units will no longer sometimes disappear before an attacking unit's animation plays
  • Horse model on wagon vehicle unit should now maintain correct position relative to wagon
  • The gun boat model now travels forwards instead of in reverse
  • Supply unit resource amounts no longer double themeselves when trying to deposit into a newly created settlement
  • Loading of resources into supply units should now correctly increase based on unit count
  • Disabled labor units will no longer walk in place if ordered to construct infrastructure
  • Support unit resource displays no longer sometimes show too many significant figures
  • Units that destroy a piece of infrastructure will no longer forcibly move towards the vacant spot
