This update upgrades the rendering pipeline we use. Mostly everything should look better. However, we are still adjusting to the upgrades and not everything looks quite the same. That is ok though, this upgrade will allow us to reach our full vision of what the game should look like with time.
Enjoy the graphics upgrade!

Default Settings change
The home UI is still being tweaked, and this update includes another change for that. Though the bigger change is Autopilot by default for new players.
There are two ways to play. "Power Vector" (click and drag controls for precision), or "Autopilot" for a more casual experience. We decided to have "Autopilot" ON by default because it is more intuitive in the beginning. Though, the "Power Vector" offers much more control and will make beating the game much easier.
A few things about "Autopilot". Right now, it is a very basic system, and most of the time you only get two hit angles. This can be frustrating at the end of a level. We will revisit "Autopilot" in the future to improve how it works. TIP: "Autopilot" allows unofficial controller support. (we will support controllers officially at some point)
The first of many UI updates
A few buttons and sliders have been updated. There are still a few old buttons, and a lot of the layout is the same in this update
Leaderboard sync improvement
Quick patch to make sure your latest high score gets synced to the leaderboard. Previously the game would only sync on a game over. Now it will also sync on the home screen if it is out of date.
Early Access Release!
PongBreak Early Access has released!
We are extremely excited to start this journey with everyone and hope you enjoy where the game is at so far. Now that the game is available to play, we wanted to take a moment to tell you about what we have recently added, and what is coming next.
In the days before launch, we were able to get most of the achievements the game will have added, with icons too! There will be more of those to come, and I imagine the icons will get remastered closer to full release.
We also were able to add cloud saves!
Coming up next, we are going to be working on two aspects in desperate need of attention. The UI & Learning to play.
The game only has a text based "How to Play" page that has been there since day 1. What we would like is either some animations doing a better job conveying the information in the context of the game, and or a tutorial.
The UI is also not super great. Just some quick buttons that work. We know it needs to be better, and will continue to improve that experience :)
Bug Fixes will always have top priority. We strongly believe in making sure what we have works well, before adding more. Please utilize the steam community forums and include as much detail as you can.
