New Save System

We have completely re done how game progress is tracked and saved.
Previously, we only persisted your highscore and what level you had unlocked. However, as we add more and more levels, winning is becoming very difficult and frustrating when you cannot walk away in between levels. With this new system you will notice that the start brick will show "Continue" If you have started a game or "New Game" otherwise. You will still have you beat all the levels without losing the orb in order to win, but now you can leave and come back. Each level is a save point. You no longer need to start at level one to go for a win. You can start as far along as you like, however, you will have to circle back and beat the levels you skipped to win.

Have fun!

  • improved lighting on some maps
  • a few miscellaneous small fixes

General Improvements

  • improved wall colliders, bricks should no longer clip into portions of the walls. Orb bounces will now vary depending on surface shape
  • changed color of space clouds to purple instead of a color that closely matched the orb color making it hard to see on some maps
  • floating bricks can now travel through orb portals

Another New Level!

"The Fighter bays" (level 13) is similar to "The Hanger". Though, you'll need to utilize orb and regular portals to clear even more bays this time.

There probably will not be a new level for a bit. These two were already in development before the Early Access release. Now that they are out, we will be looking at improving other aspects of the game.

New Level!

Bricked matter is blocking the hanger and our ships can't enter or leave!
"The Hanger" (level 12) takes place on a carrier ship. You'll need to utilize the antimatter orb portals to clean both ship bays.

Have fun!

  • New Level
  • New Mechanic (orb portals)

UI Update Bug Fixes

  • Power Vector controls added to controls page
  • Power Vector Hint placement on different screen sizes fixed
  • Level Select button placement on different screen sizes fixed

Home screen update: Power Vector Hint

Return of the Power Vector! It never really went away, but it is the default for new players again. We have added a new mini tutorial animation that will play on the home screen if auto pilot is turned off and you do not start a game within a few seconds. Hopefully this clears up any confusion about how to play with the power vector controls. It provides much more control and is the way the game is meant to be played. That being said, we will be making improvements to the auto pilot system in the future.

Have fun!

Power Vector Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where leaving a menu would cause the player to hit the antimatter orb
  • Fixed an issue where the power vector would stay rendered after turning on auto pilot, entering menus, or pausing
  • Corrected graphic shown when winning
