Preliminary improvements for Q3 2023.

- additional descriptions,
- easy level is slightly easier,
- extended reactivity of the game, which when the player goes too easy and has a large number of mechs for a long time the opponent gets a certain bonus every now and then,
- improved readability and additional information in the mission selection scene ( plus text displayed in the style of old military and sci-fi movies - let us know what you think),
- an additional RC57A weapon as an upgrade to the RC57. RC57A should be an interesting addition to Ironhand and Juggernaut mechs.
- additional Ironhand S2A mech equipped with RC57A and leaf technology to invent the mech and this weapon.
- fixed a bug related to the display of options when the mech fired or moved and the user pressed the right mouse button,
- improvement of the mech's state machine, the movements are a bit smoother ( the mech does not go into idle state after each sequence just continues with subsequent animations until they are completed )
- weapon sounds have been converted to PCM format which further improves game performance.
- weapons and source code have been adapted to the format we will use in the sequel. This gives us the opportunity to add new resources to the game.

The game is almost 8 GB, the changes in architecture in preparation for the sequel also allow us to develop this project, which will be the starting point for the sequel.

Minor update.

- Added a new pilot, Federation Droid. These droids are temporarily defeatable in a training mission. In the future, they will appear in other missions as opponents.
- Added a new version of the Shredder A2 enemy mech. Unlike the A1 version, it has an orbital laser strike.
- Fixed the font size for the tooltip title so that the letters for longer words don't go beyond.

Q1 2023 Update

- Added some new movie scenes.

Important change:
- Introduced the category of precision lasers and weapons:

Finally, we developed a new accuracy system for short and medium type lasers. When the sensors are set to focused or higher, the accuracy of this type of weapon is very high.

This has a better effect on short and mid-range mechs that aim at flanking the enemy.

The mechanics of the other weapons remain unchanged.

In the future, this will also become the base for short-range machine guns and other short / medium range weapons. ( Either in this version or in the sequel. )

Minor game loader update.

Added more artwork to the loader and made it more interactive.

Q4 2022 Update.

Quite an important update. Here we have updated the version of the Unity Engine for the game to a newer one. The game has noticeably better performance, and it still looks good.

Release notes:
- Better game performance.
- Improved product stability. More security checks for potential crash events.
- More plant objects on some planets, including a new animal on one of the planets. (more animals planned in the future)
- Enemy AI improvement. Enemy mechs now try to hunt friendly mechs by estimating their location and then trying to choose the most convenient direction of movement, instead of mainly pushing forward, which, despite the protections, sometimes caused them to go outside the battlefield.
- The product gained the ability to scale higher and better. Faster delivery and analysis time.

Potential risks:
- the game had a tendency to crash (overload the GPU) when fast ballistic shots were used during combat in the Unity editor (debug version). This problem was not found during 5 hours of testing in the Release version. There is a chance that something similar can happen on weaker graphics cards.

Please let us know if anyone notices such a problem.

Q3 Game Update

List of new changes:

- When the mech attacks, the player can press the right mouse button, "Esc" or "Backspace" to change the camera mode to general.
- Fix - Action menu is hidden when mech attacks and player changes camera mode.
- In the early prototype mission, a player may encounter up to 5 modern mech types instead of 2.
- Performance improvements - music is now playing in not decoded PCM format, what increases a little memory stamp, but decreases CPU consumption.
- Added randomization button for faster drawing of advanced game variants.
