WHEN IN ROME, PLAY SUPER56?
We're bringing SUPER56 to the VIDEO GAMES LAB ROME, which runs between Jan 25-28, 2024. Play SUPER56 in Rome by swinging by the Games London Booth, and meet us along with four other cool Indie devs showcasing their awesome games.

Hold onto your hats – multiplayer mode is in the works! We heard your pleas and added local multiplayer to SUPER56. Currently in Beta testing, we're ironing out the kinks for a seamless experience. You can even sneak a peek at the 'BETA' branch on SUPER56 (no password needed). Stay tuned on Steam and our socials for the big reveal! We're currently working on a trailer that will blow your socks off!
GENERAL BUG FIXES
We've been on a bug-squashing spree! Added some extra flair to the stages – more guidance, simplifying the more abstract levels, and sprinkling in some extra weirdness. Because who doesn't love a bit of organised chaos?

Hey everyone! We have a pretty nice update today, lots of fixes and improvements. Multiplayer is avalable on the beta branch and will be coming to the main branch in the next update (we're just waiting on localisation). Anyway, here's the notes!
-IMPORTANT! Fixed a bug in the CLEAN THE HOUSE TRIAL where the misc category was not being counted meaning you could score a much faster time by ignoring the outside areas... sorry to everyone that we've had to reset the leaderboard to ensure fairness -Added a Fast Forward feature to the results screen in a normal run, hold A to fast forward -Fixed a bug in GET 5 GOOD PHOTOS where the points were awarded even for a bad photo -Improved DOCK THE SHIP to make it more interesting and more challenging -Fixed an achievement bug for I don't Want to be Human! -Fixed an achievement bug for Meaty Chunks in Gravy -Made space for the upcoming Party Multiplayer mode which should be available within a week (available on beta branch now) -Fixed the GLYPHS (level cap) so that loot boxes and hearts appear on the XP bar -Improved Dolphin Stage (REACH THE FINISH LINE) logic, speed and difficulty, it's a better stage now! -Improved some graphics on the BOUNCE 15 (skipping stones) stage -PRESENT EVIDENCE now greys out used evidence -in KEEP BABY ALIVE changed temperature and food/drink info from text based to icon based for quicker and easier readability -Made the fish in CATCH 3 RIVERMEN faster and made the particle effect when they bite more recognisable -GO THRU CHECKPOINTS, now the checkpoints actually look like checkpoints -added bunnies to SMASH THE CAR, don't hit them or you'll lose your multiplier! -Fixed a few spots in PREPARE TO SUCK where you could drop through the scenery -added loading dots to the leaderboards so you can tell something's happening

We're spreading the joy chaos with a 10% discount in the Steam Winter Sale. We know that the holidays are typically all about family, friends, and food, but the holidays are also about gaming.

Mic Control (Experimental)
Ever dreamt of yelling at your game and having it actually listen? Now's your chance! Mic Control lets you boss around SUPER 56 using your microphone – it's like having your own gaming genie. Grab a head-set style mic, maybe a Santa hat too, and let the mayhem commence.
Trial Mode - Clean the Whole House:
Feeling the festive cleaning spirit? Try out the first Trial Mode – Clean the Whole House! Grab the cat-vacuum, channel your inner Mrs. Claus, and compete for cleaning glory. Each trial comes with its own leaderboard, turning tidying up into a festive competition. You might even discover the joy of cleaning... or not.
New Achievements, Secrets, and Surprises:
Unwrap two shiny new achievements tied to the Clean the House Trial. One's a secret – because who doesn't love a bit of mystery during the holidays? Check out the Achievements table to see what challenges await and flex your gaming muscles.
Leaderboard Shenanigans:
Laugh your way through the leaderboards as everyone's witty remarks make an appearance. We admit we spend too much time reading these gems, but it's the holidays – time for some good-natured chuckles!
Miscellaneous Awesomeness:
We've sprinkled in some UI magic and fixed up Simplified Chinese credits. Oh, and about our dear Reiwa man – he's taking a festive break and sent his doppelgänger to keep you company. Is it him? Is it not? The mystery thickens like eggnog.

SUPER 56 V1.22: SUPER NEW CONTENT UPDATE!
Hey HUMANS! It's time to check out the new features in our latest SUPER 56 update which is available now:
Mic Control (experimental)
Now you can control the whole game using your microphone input, we find this works best with a head-set style mic so that other sounds don't interfere with your game. We had a real fun time playing SUPER 56 using guitars, dog toys and other random items, it's a total blast!
Trial Mode - Clean the Whole House
We've added the first Trial to the game, in this trial you need to clean the whole house using the cat-vacuum. Each new trial we add will come with its own leaderboard too so please look forward to them. Yeah!
New Achievements
There are two new achievements, both are unlocked via the new Clean the House Trial. One is secret and the other can be unlocked by completing the trial in under 4 minutes.
There is also a new Achievements table, so you can see the full list of achievements you've unlocked, and need to unlock
Leaderboard Changes
You'll now see everyone's amusing phrases on their leaderboard entries, I spend too much time looking at these.
Misc
Various UI and localisation improvements (including fixing the Simplified Chinese credits). We've also replaced the image of our dear Reiwa man with a delightful 3D model of someone who looks scarily similar, but is.definitely.not.him.... ok?
Future Development:
We're currently splitting our time between adding new content and preparing the game for Nintendo Switch porting. We really hope that SUPER 56 will gain some much needed visibility by being available on Switch and if that is the case it will enable us to bring even more updates to the Steam version.
