Minor Fixes and Upcoming Playtest
Dear Primateria Community Members,
We have just released a minor update focusing on:
Update Contents:
Localization fixes.
Minor bug fixes and some small adjustments.
Although this update is minor, our attention is now turned to a more significant update that we plan to playtest next week. This playtest is an essential step in addressing the key feedback we have received from you. During this session, we will focus on:
Adjustments to bosses and AI behavior.
Adjustments to the difficulty curve.
Adjustments to the deck building process.
Adjustments to the gameplay loop.
Your participation in this playtest is crucial. It is an opportunity for us to implement and test changes directly based on your feedback.
To participate in the playtest, simply activate the playtest beta in your Steam client. You can do this by following the instructions here. We will make another announcement when the playtest begins and the update to your game becomes available.

We are also diligently working towards our next major update, which will include the much-requested Deck Editor feature, along with fixes to other issues highlighted by your feedback.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of Primateria! It's been an incredible journey, and we're delighted with the final product. We can't wait for you to dive in and experience the adventure we've crafted with so much passion.
What's Next?
So what now? With the game released, our journey continues. We're committed to regular updates, squashing any pesky bugs, fine-tuning card balance, and injecting fresh, exciting features and content.
Get Ready for Deck Editor!
Up next is a major update that will introduce the Deck Editor feature. Imagine crafting your own decks with all the cards you've unlocked and saving your favorite combinations for future runs. It's going to revolutionize how you play!
Also, we're excited to share that Primateria now supports Spanish, in addition to English, Portuguese, and Chinese. More players around the globe can enjoy our game in their preferred language.

The Wait is Coming to an End - Jan 8th!
After six long years of development, we're very proud to finally announce that Primateria will be released on January 8th 2024!
This development journey has been incredible for us at Yfrit Games, and we are very excited to show you what we've been cooking.
Here's some of the new and exciting things you can expect on the full game:
A complete story mode with 9 unique quests, a thrilling story and a bunch of characters!
100+ cards, with hundreds of effects, mechanics and endless combos!
4 new almighty legendary cards with intricate ways to unlock them!
43 Steam achievements for you to challenge yourselves and unlock!
12 unique pre-built decks with specific archetypes for you to explore, including a Random Deck for experienced players to challenge their might!
20+ special items that can be found and used in runs to enhance your chances of reaching the surface!
10+ challenging nodes for exploration!
A new and improved Endless Mode with challenging bosses, enemy encounters, exploration and much more!
A gallery system that serves as a compendium for all cards, items and unlockables in the game so you can track your progress!
A meta-progression system that allows you to gain experience, level up, and unlock all sorts of magical items and cards for your Primateria journey!

It's been a while since our last announcement, but that is for a good cause: a whole lot of new content! With the release date fast approaching, we are here to announce a whole new demo with a bunch of new things for you to enjoy.
Since our last demo, the game has improved a lot, as we worked towards implementing and fixing everything pointed out by you guys on the feedback we received.
For version v2.11.2, these are the main changes:
New Quest System
As stated in our livestreams and blog posts, Primateria has an exciting world with intriguing lore and an exciting story told by our new quest system. You can now interact with new characters, unfold mysterious adventures of divine beings and you, the player!
Here are the new features accompanying the system:
New dialog system with new characters
3 new quests available
10 NPCs with unique character design and personalities
More Decks, More Cards
With the addition of a bunch more cards, new decks were also introduced alongside new mechanics and playstyles for the game.
Here are the new things:
60+ playable cards
4 playable decks
New random deck mechanic for the experienced players looking for a new challenge
New Legendary Cards
To make playing cards even more exciting, new legendary cards can be summoned by fulfilling very specific conditions and challenges during a run. These incredibly powerful cards have amazing new art and represent the divine characters in the game.
Here are our imponent legendary cards:
New Map Exploring Content
For a more fun and long term experience, we have completely reworked the map exploring game loop, adding a lot of new content and improvements to it. Here are some of those things:
5+ new nodes and gameplay modes
Reworked the shop node
Added a micro-tutorial node and broke down the initial tutorial into a more streamlined experience
New and improved consumables and equipment items
New blessing system that gives the player passive effects and abilities to use on their runs
Gallery and Meta-progression System
Improving on the roguelite aspect of Primateria, we have reworked the gameloop with a meta-progression system. It allows players to gain experience points and level up on each run they play. Levels are attached to the in-game unlocks, that are now available on the new Gallery system, a resource compendium with everything in the game you can unlock!
UI and Graphics Overhaul
Following the feedback we received from the players, we have reworked our UI systems and redone a lot of the graphics to enhance the playing experience and make the game as beautiful as possible.
Here are all the new and reworked features:
Reworked the card frame
New background art for battle arenas, menus and the map exploring scene
Completely new screen for listing cards, items, and other in-game resources
Improved fonts
New and Improved Animations
Also listening to your feedback, we have reworked and added a bunch of new animations to the game, making it feel more lively and prettier.
Here are some of those animations:
New and improved attack animations
New victory/defeat animations
New reward animation
New game state representations animations
New screen transitions
New damage/discard/mana animations
New battle-phase transitions
Improved playing animations
Bug Fixing, Polishing and a Ton of Improvements
To enhance the experience for new and experienced players, a lot of quality of life features, bug fixes and changes were introduced. Here's a list of them:
New run saving system that allows for resuming runs stopped in the middle
Improved usability when playing cards in the backrow
Improved and shortened animations and clicks for multiple actions
New graphical options
Rebalanced and reworked multiple cards and game rules
Improved effect texts to make them more consistent and easier to understand
Improved translations on Portuguese and Chinese versions
New music and sound effects

The upcoming Steam Next Fest will be going on from October 3 to October 10, and Primateria will also officially participate in this event that everyone all can play this new and polished demo! If you love the public demo, feel free to apply for a playtest so that you can enjoy the whole new UI and more cards and enemies! BTW, I hope you like our new key art design :)
About the new public DEMO: Optimized some previous inaccurate card descriptions and other known issues, and also added Chinese language support.
About the playtest build: The build now has a whole new in-game UI interface, while some card faces have been redesigned, so we're looking forward to your feedback! Please don't hesitate to apply for Playtest that you can enjoy all the updated game content.

Hi everyone, long time no see! For this update, we have a lot of new and exciting things to show you. Primateria is participating in the Going Rogue event with a new demo!
New Demo
For this release of the game, a bunch of new features were added in, such as:
New deck unlocking system
New items system: equipment and consumables
New awesome animations
New awesome art
A new character and lots of world building
A new progression system that makes doing runs even more fun
New battle types, nodes, and much, much more
The game was thoroughly updated according to the feedback we received from last year's Steam Next Fest event. We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone that participated and contributed with feedback that helped us improve the game, especially the difficulty, which was adjusted to make the game more accepting and receptive for all types of players.
