Changes - Increased prices in some regions based on Steam's recommended pricing, in line with the full release - Beams now disappear when entering water (no changes to lasers)
Fixes - Fixed a crash that occurred when setting the simulation range to large - Fixed a bug where Ancient Cores behaved abnormally after loading (Cores that were already activated may still behave incorrectly) - Fixed a bug where solar panels could generate power when hit by lasers from the back side - Fixed a bug where parts from defeated robots did not disappear after loading
v2.0.0 Full Release
Additions: - Ancient Core (Boss at the center of the fortress) - Ancient Laser (Dropped from the Ancient Core)
Changes: - Slightly reduced the durability of the Ancient Robot
Fixes: - Fixed an issue where post-processing effects were not applied to the third-person camera view
v1.12.0 Robot Update
Additions: - Ancient Robots (emerge from ancient robot makers) - Ancient Ceramics (can sometimes be found in the possession of ancient robots) - Baked Apples (obtained by heating apples)
Changes: - Transistors, trigger switches, and capacitors now drop from robots instead of self-destructing drones - Objects that take more than 10 times their maximum durability in blast damage will now disappear - Slightly increased the strength of iron
v1.11.0
Additions - Ancient Capacitor (a battery with a very fast discharge rate; dropped from self-destructing drones) - Object Deletion feature (Creative Mode only) - Blueprint Favorites Registration feature
Changes - Adjusted strength and attack power of mineral deposits - Adjusted behavior of 1cm thick crystals
Fixes - Fixed unstable electrical behavior affected by refresh rate - Fixed issue where the large tree at the starting location wouldn’t generate - Fixed issue where seed values entered from the keyboard weren’t applied - Fixed issue causing the holster to appear completely white - Fixed issue where collection unlock status wouldn’t save if the game crashed - Other minor fixes
v1.10.0 Creative Mode & Electronic Components
Additional Features - Creative Mode (Players do not take damage and can generate objects registered in blueprints or materials discovered in normal mode without any cost) - World Generation Options (Seed value, terrain scale) - Ancient Transistor (Conducts electricity depending on the presence of voltage from the horizontal direction. Dropped by self-destructing drones) - Ancient Trigger Switch (Conducts electricity only while the trigger is being pressed. Dropped by self-destructing drones) - Crystal (Conducts electricity at a periodic rate depending on its thickness. Generates weak electricity when impacted. Grows on top of mineral deposits) - Mineral Deposits (Breaking them will produce ores) - Low-Bounciness Rubber* - Return to Title Button
*Low-bounciness rubber will be added as a material named "Rubber," and the previous version of "Rubber" will be renamed to "Bouncy Rubber." Combining raw rubber and sulfur will create rubber, and combining rubber and sulfur will create bouncy rubber.
Changes - Gold, silver, and tungsten ores will now generate inside mineral deposits - Lighting adjustments - Lowered the minimum size of objects (objects won’t disappear when destroyed at smaller sizes) - When both ends of the Ancient Battery are loop-connected, it will now distribute electricity to itself as well - Russian localization has been replaced with a translation provided by volunteers
Fixes - Fixed an issue where players could spawn outside of the room when the game starts - Other minor fixes
v1.9.0
Additional Features - Added support for new languages: Simplified Chinese, German, Spanish, French, and Russian - Added a simple tutorial for first-time players - Added a feature to adjust avatar scale
Changes - Overall optimization of processing - Changed the appearance of VFX and water - Increased the distance at which the moon is visible - Adjusted the probability of object generation - Supported VRM1.0 (Avatars from the previous VRM0.x can still be used, but their color scheme may change) - Even when the avatar is off, the head is now displayed in the third-person view camera - Removed default avatar
Fixes - Fixed an issue where fire does not extinguish underwater - Fixed an issue where the moon's center of gravity could be misaligned - Fixed an issue where the object name does not change when a live slime is burned - Other minor fixes
v1.8.0 Space Update
Additions: Aerial Ruins Mixed Acid (can be synthesized from Niter and Yellow Slime) Nitrocellulose (can be synthesized from Mixed Acid and Dry Grass) Ancient Rocket Engine (available in Aerial Ruins, generates thrust while consuming Nitrocellulose and being electrically powered) Space (becomes weightless above a certain altitude) Moon (generated above the starting point) Moon Rock (has the same properties as terrestrial stone) Re-calibration feature (allows switching between standing and sitting play mid-game) Volume control feature Footstep and water sound effects Note: Aerial ruins and the moon are generated even in already explored areas of existing save data.
Changes: Modified how music plays and added new tracks (new tracks are from stock music, so they will not be added to the soundtrack) Made the trigger operation exclusively for bonding, not for bonding and separation Changed swimming controls (thrust is generated only when the hand is open and moved palm-side) Prevented living Yellow Slime from being used as synthesis material Burnt objects are now considered less in synthesis and blueprint materials Slowed down the rate of atmospheric pressure decrease with altitude Increased the amount of Niter dropped from Green Slime Changed the drop from Ancient Suicide Drone Maker from engines to Niter
Fixes: Fixed the issue where batteries and similar items intermittently conduct electricity when connected sideways Fixed the issue where the menu cannot be operated during high-speed movement Fixed the issue of small objects being difficult to grab Fixed the issue of creating thinner than limit objects using synthesis Other minor fixes
Extension of the Early Access Period and Upcoming Update Plans
The initial early access period for Primitier was planned for 1-2 years. However, due to missing elements such as variations in mobs, we are expecting to extend the period by about a year. Thus, the official release is now anticipated to be around the end of 2024 to the beginning of 2025. For the full version, we plan to add mainly the following elements:
- Mobs smarter than slimes and drones - Fortress boss - Creative mode - Logic circuit system (this may be added in an update after the full release)
We appreciate your continued support for Primitier.
v1.7.1
- Fixed a bug where the physics simulation becomes unstable during processing lags - Fixed a bug where thin objects disappear when cut - Fixed a bug where swimming is only possible with Touch controllers - Fixed a bug where objects sometimes don't leave the hand - Fixed a bug where the separation operation occasionally triggers the sound effect twice
v1.7.0 Blueprint Update
Additions: - Blueprint System: You can launch the Blueprint UI from the left-hand menu. By registering a blueprint of an object, you can automatically create the same object by consuming equivalent materials and electricity.
Changes: - Switched the input system from SteamVR Input to OpenXR - Changed the VIVE controller's grab action to grip toggle, and the join action to trigger - Separation action can now be done with the A/X button on Touch controllers and the A button on Index controllers - Other minor adjustments
Fixes: - Fixed the issue where the block would be released from the hand after breaking
Blueprint data is saved in Documents\Primitier\Saves\Blueprints and can be shared with other players by transferring files. Added to the guidelines that blueprint data can be shared.
