I'm very happy to announce that the new totally reimagined version of Primordian that has been worked on day and night for the last 2 years is finally very close to completion. Within a few weeks from now it will be ready for some beta branch play testing. Feel free to message in the discussion thread for playtesting that you would like to be involved and added to the group, as your feedback and thoughts would be most valuable and very much appreciated. STRANGE FRUITS
Meeko Bean, Tongo Berry are just a few of the strange fruits you will need to add to your skill set to grant things like full health, invulnerability, enemy confusion and stealth to your combat arsenal. You will also learn how to collect items to grow and craft these fruits in your home cave.
LIGHT TEMPLE GUARDIANS
This tribe will be defending the final areas of the game if you are skillful enough to reach the light temple. They will use many varied skills and attacks to stop you at any cost.
Thank you all again for the continued interest in seeing Primordian to it's completion, it has been apparent to me for a long time now that the only way to make this journey worth while for all who have supported the early access version for so long is to make it's final version undeniably polished and great. So it will not be released from early access until that is the case. Your help with playtesting if you are interested will be invaluable.

Final Release Progress - Three
SWORD FIGHTING Since the last progress update a huge amount of work has gone into the enemies and combat, particularly melee combat with the different types of sword fighters. It's a long process to get this melee combat feeling great. Actually fighting against these enemies for countless hours, weeks, even years :) to feel and tweak how they move and react to your human moves. I've implemented a system that predicts where your sword swings are trying to hit on their body or armor and the enemy can counter your moves, dodge and jump out of the way, parry, punch you back, headbutt, steal your weapon and kick as well as other tactics. Some of this can be seen in the video here.
They have a random intelligence and agility level and sometimes you will come up against a sword fighter that is so good at dodging your attacks you could swear it's another human. Melee combat was the main item people recommended be worked on more during early access and so I didn't want it to be just good or ok, I want it to be great.
MORG - IRON TRIBE You will find the Iron Tribe only in the depths of the past
WEAPON - JAVELIN The Javelin throwing enemy class will send many of these towards you, high damage ranged weapon. Try to catch it and throw it back to turn the tables,
CLEYTORS The little creatures can be lured out of their home and will follow you as a helpful companion, electrocuting the nearest enemy, or even yourself if you are not careful. They don't care. If they get to annoying you can pick them up to use as a shield.
Final Release Progress - Two
Among many other items since the last news update, this month there were some new friends completed in game, here are a sample of a few creatures that will help you along your way and attack anything that is a threat to you.
In action! This is an image of one of the main NPC's you will meet. "Aquon" is a neutral traveler who's only goal is to help you along your "path". He is a disciple and servant of "the eye of the path" who you will also meet in the future. Many NPC scenes are now complete with the exception of some voice over to be added.
As for planning towards final release out of early access. The aim is to have the game fully polished, feature complete, bug free and playable from beginning to end by October. In early November there will be a major update that replaces the old game with this entirely new version so unfortunately old save games will be lost, but it will be worth starting again. This is the current plan. After a couple of small updates incase there are unknown bugs or feature requests / difficulties. The final version will be updated and set to be out of early access! Yay! Final Release Progress - One
There has been a huge amount of work and polish going into the game over the last year, in the recent months, many new weapons, enemies, levels and gameplay additions. Things are ramping up to finally move towards the final full release version. Over the next few months I will be posting regular updates of all of the features and polish. Thank you all so much for your patience and support for what has been a long wait.

General Update
As a general update, new modes will be included with the game final version. .Battle Mode (Play with any weapon against random enemies and earn runes to upgrade skills) .Peaceful Mode (Walk through the world with no enemies and no time limit, searching for secrets) In other news enemy AI and animations have all been upgraded along with the full physics combat system, a new enemy race, 4 new enemy classes, log thrower, rock thrower, Mage and Priest. An all new audio system and skills and talent upgrades systems based on rewards found in the world among many other things worked on over the last months.
Cinematics, NPC's and Story
Previously many story elements had not been presented in the world in the form of cinematics, NPC's and so on. A large amount of additions are now being made to add to your adventure through the world, in the form of new levels and NPC characters added in existing levels.
Getting Ready! Major Milestone.
Major Milestone hit in the game progress today! 4 Months ago now I stared on the journey of recreating the entire game from scratch, yet again. Rethinking everything along the way to take into account all new VR hardware and to make it the absolute best it can be, all shiny and new for 2023 VR game standards. Very happy to report that as of today the game is feeling and looking better than I could have ever hoped and is now ready to go into the final phase of non stop testing and non stop polish.
Very excited to finally be able to release the ultimate version soon that takes the game out of early access sometime in the next few months, just as soon as it is perfect and every possible issue is solved. Testing, optimizing, gathering feedback, perfecting, just takes a long time, but well worth it. I really want to thank everyone who has played / purchased or followed the game to this point for waiting so long for this release, you are the reason that every day perfecting this is so exciting, rewarding and worth every minute.

Back on Track
It's been a long time, but things are back on track to seeing Primordian complete for release from early access. A series of updates to the game we be made up until the final version.
Full Body character option and other news.
Hi, work continues on full physics combat for the world, a large undertaking and as part of this we have implemented the option of a Full Body character. It has been some time since we posted an update but all of the plans as mentioned in previous updates are going smoothly. We would like to present the final version of the game as one big, polished download, rather than many smaller incremental updates at some stage in 2020 and no later. All levels for the game are complete, Now it is just a matter of time to re imagine the game play through all of the many hours of the story. We feel that the wait for a final quality experience will be well worth it. Thank you for the support and patience. J
