Prison Simulator: Prologue - Bug fixes and a new infirmary.

Hey players,

Today is Friday, and that means the weekend is ahead of us! Everyone deserves a little rest, but that doesn't mean we don't have new news for you!

Over the past week, we have fixed some major bugs, improved the balance, and refined the routines that you will be able to see in our Prison Simulator: Prologue.

Let's take a look at the individual changes:

Weapon Cleanup:
- We fixed a bug that was causing spray to be infinite
- we added a tutorial to help new players master this mini-game

Opening locks:
- this mini-game no longer locks weapons if it starts while reloading

Translations:
- We fixed major bugs for the Polish language version.

Infirmary:
- We have made a solid rework of our infirmary.

Note: We have added a short information at the beginning of the game, which is addressed to people who may experience epileptic disorder due to the flashing lights and fast camera movements. For the sake of our players, we are doing our best to make sure that the lights that endanger the health of players with epilepsy can be turned off in the game settings before the game starts.

Prison Simulator: Prologue - closed beta program impressions

Hey players,

A few days ago, our testers received keys for Prison Simulator: Prologue. We prepared a fully playable compilation for them as a base for community testing.

Players were given the possibility to report bugs via a specially prepared form. This facilitated the flow of information between the developers and our community.

Your opinion is extremely important to us. It allows us to make corrections and changes in places that require it, it makes us feel balanced and we can control our game in a way that is consulted with the players.

Testing is always a hopeful, stressful, and impatient moment, but we've waited patiently to get feedback on our game from the most important community for us - our players.

It was very nice to read positive messages, which made us feel that our product was accepted. We were also very curious to read the constructive criticism and learn as much as we could from it.

Community testing is a really great opportunity to create a bridge between the team and the players. We're glad that you're so eager to participate in testing Prison Simulator: Prologue. It means a lot to us!

Prison Simulator: Prologue - Making of: The riot

Hi players!

Today we're going to talk about creating a riot scene and mechanics for our Prison Simulator: Prologue.

When we were planning what we wanted to include in the prologue, we thought about many scenarios. One of them was the very moment when the inmates decide to show who rules the prison.

To make the game as interesting as possible, we spent many hours planning new dialogues, mini-games, and rearranging many rooms.

All this allowed us to create an atmosphere that with the addition of lights makes you feel as if you were there.

On the attached materials you can see the places affected by the outrageous behavior of the convicts. We also decided to show you that some rooms will be locked and you won't get inside until you open the locks.

Everything is prepared very intuitively. The player should know what to do without being inundated with tons of information.

Now our team is working on bug fixes and making sure everything meets the expectations of our community.

A few days ago we created a beta program for Prison Simulator: Prologue.

Prison Simulator: Prologue - Achievements Reveal

Hello Guards,

You've been working very diligently these past few months, the inmates even tolerate you, but...

Can you handle the latest challenge that Prison Simulator: Prologue will throw at you? Can you get them all?

All right, enough with the serious motivational speech, time for Friday's news!

In Prison Simulator: Prologue you will be able to see some of the achievements that you are familiar with from the demo version. The decision to include them in the next part was based on the complexity of the gameplay in the prologue itself.

Which of the achievements will return, you will see for yourselves, in the meantime we will present to you the achievements that you don't know yet.

1.Not on my watch!

This achievement is one of the easiest and hardest at the same time. To get it, all you have to do (or as much as) is master rebellion. Simple right? Not one daredevil has tried to do it, but not one has fallen in the fight against the convicts.

2 - Diplomat

What's there to say. We solve problems with talk, not fists. So much for that. And if you don't like talking, there are only fists left, but this achievement won't be for you.

3 No guns allowed

This achievement is reserved for true professionals. The prison is on fire, the convicts are vandalizing everything they can, the guards are running scared... and in the middle of it all - YOU. The hero of the prison, the guard of all guards, who deals with such problems without reaching for a gun. Is it a dream or a reality?

4. The story begins

This achievement is for persistent players who complete Prison Simulator: Prologue. And that's it.

5. Finders keepers

Fortunately, our prison facility... Oops, it's not that easy!

6. Student

Remember those days when you went to school? Or do you still go to school? This achievement will make you feel like you're in a real... we're kidding.

Purchase the first skill to unlock this achievement. This skill will REALLY come in handy for you.

7. Rambo

I don't think we need to explain...

That's all we wanted to show you today.
Let us know in the comments which achievement you like best!

And if you've earned all of the achievements while playing the demo, join our Discord server where we look forward to seeing your screenshots!

Cheers!

Prison Simulator: Prologue - We are officially opening the closed beta.

Prison Simulator: Prologue - Correction officers update

Hello Guards,

Some time ago we decided to change the look of the inmates, because compared to the new graphic resources, the old models looked very unfavorable.

What about the guards? They are a very important part of the entire prison. They are in most of the rooms and it is they who patrol the corridors of our facility.

Let's take a look at the screenshots below:

Fixed bugs:

  • Officers don't attack each other when you hit one of them.
  • Officers properly patrol the prison.
  • Lifting weights doesn't look like a black screen anymore.
  • We have added new translations.

PRISON SIMULATOR DISCORD SERVER HAS REACHED 1000 MEMBERS!

Hello Guards,

We would like to announce that our official Discord server dedicated to the game Prison Simulator has reached 1000 members.

This means a lot to us. People are showing us how interested they are in what we have been working on for so long. Players are exchanging screenshots, info etc. They know everything before the rest.

The Discord server is very important to us. We create a great community there. Our players often make suggestions, actively participate in the testing of various products and our moderators make sure that no question remains unanswered.

Our server contains several sections. The first of them is the information section. You can find there everything about us, about our game, rules, announcements and devlogs.

Second section is dedicated to Prison Simulator. There is discussion panel, feedbacks and suggestions, bug reports, screenshots and requests.

Prison Simulator: Prologue - Environment update

Hello Guards,

It is Monday again and we know that many of you are out of energy, but we have good news for you!

First dialogue with Richard tells us that we came back to work just after a huge Riot. As you could see on one of our trailers, this is not a playground. Prisoners are furious, aggressive and they don't want to stop destroying everything.

To make this as much realistic as we could, we decided to change the main scene a little.

The corridors don't look so pretty anymore. Prisoners have knocked over benches, scattered documents, and even covered the entrances to some rooms with rubble.

Several fires have broken out throughout the prison, which must be extinguished immediately. Rooms like the workshop and the canteen were completely occupied by the rioters.

The briefing room was also not bypassed. The computer for sure no longer works, chairs are knocked over and some are broken. No one is able to estimate at this time the damage our prison has sustained during this very brave incident.

Prison Simulator Update - Bug fixes and a new routine reveal

Hello Guards,

During the last few weeks, we focused on Prison Simulator: Prologue. We have to fix all of the bugs, check every routine, and make sure that our prologue is ready for release.

First of all, we decided to change the perk panel. It looked very similar to the previous one, and we didn't want to keep it anymore.

The old version has gone, and we have a new one. It looks much better, and it is clean and neat.

Secondly, we have fixed primary bugs that caused animation issues.

New routine

Working on Prison Simulator: Prologue has been exhausting, and it consumes so much time, but we have the satisfaction. Everything looks good, and it works better!

We have got many routines in our game.

Morning count
Evening count
Canteen
Workshop
Yard
Monitoring
Parcel searching
Reception new prisoners
Showers
Documents
Cells shakedown
Free time (with mini-games)
Releasing prisoners
Execution

We thought about adding something else. In our prison, there is a visiting room, so we created a new routine. Prisoners can see their friends, wives, or other family members. There are also intimate visits.

We are still working on this routine, but we took some screenshots to show you how it is going.

Cheers! :)

Prison Simulator Update - Player skills

Welcome, guards!

A few days ago our prison received funding to train our wonderful staff. You can be the lucky ones and take part in the trainings. The prize?

The skill tree was divided into two tabs - active and passive skills. They are different from each other, but both categories are very helpful during a shift in our prison.

The currency is skill points and money. Unfortunately no one will do it for free.

Your colleague will be waiting in the Social Room. Talk to him for more information. Now take a look at these resources:

Of course, some skills have several levels, but we won't tell you the details. We want you to have this surprise effect!

Now get to work and add our prologue to your wishlist!
Cheers! :)
