Patch Notes 17

Patch includes the following adjustments:


  • Adjusted colliders in elevator shaft preventing player falling outside of the game world (prison block);
  • Fixed teleportation position into the death room - a fully fixed-teleport that prevents the player being too far away from the continue/quit orbs;
  • Tweaked computer positions on desks to be closer to the edge, to alleviate the auto-pushback (prison block);
  • Adjusted the holster's so that it should be easier to select an item the player wishes to take;
  • Fixed a German decal to ensure it would turn on correctly when required (offices).

Patch Notes 16

Patch includes the following fixes:


  • Index controllers can now animate the hand models in a basic way (no finger tracking, sorry).
  • Changed 'finger-tip' activation to enable when trigger unclicked and disabled when trigged is clicked. This should make interacting with buttons more definitive.

Patch Notes 15

This patch includes the following:


  • Added a brightness and contrast slider to the in-game options menu.

  • Fixed issue where hands might not reappear after leaving Steam dashboard - which also fixed a potential issue with WMR controllers.
  • Command denied - adjusted trigger collider in the airshaft so it would only recognise the player.
  • Command denied - tweaked breakers in airshaft that got reset on a checkpoint reload to avoid confusion.
  • Tweaked corridor joins to reduce the lips that may have interfered with player movement.
  • Anomaly - scan room, collider adjustments to prevent player potentially clipping through and avoiding having to complete the puzzle.
  • Other minor fixes.


  • This change has affected the save settings file structure. In the event that the option doesn't show, you may have to delete the file so it can be recreated. Located here:

Patch Update 14

Patch Notes Include:


  • Save slot naming corrected for final level, instead of the slot being labelled as 'empty'.
  • Fixed a language bug on the message system in the admissions room on the prison level.
  • Added a delay to the pause menu to help prevent hand models not enabling again after leaving the menu system.
  • Extended the basement ladder in the prison block.
  • Default run speed has been increased.

Patch Update 13

Patch notes include:


  • Main Security - the Green Restaurant exit door puzzle, fixed a bug where if the door is wedged open and the checkpoint reloaded, some items would appear missing.
  • Added game menu item - switch controls between left/right handed.

Patch Update 12

Patch notes include:


  • Added footstep sound effects.
  • Adjusted lighting for Prison Block level.
  • Adjusted lighting for Main security level.


    Note: Light adjustments to levels is ongoing.

Patch Update 11

Patch notes include:


  • Office level: fixed a control panel that could be powered off and can no longer be turned back on. Now when powered on, it can't be powered off again.

Localisation comes to 518

As the title suggests, Prisoner 518 now supports localisation and we have added German as the first fully supported language.

The localisation includes:

Fully localised interface;
All game decals are translated;
Subtitles for voice.



The update also includes some minor bug fixes.

Patch Update 10

Patch notes include:


  • Security level: adjusted lighting on the staff elevator manual door control so that it was clearer to see what to do in the area.
  • Security level: adjusted some geometry colliders that would sometimes prevent the player from accessing the area to collect the blue keycard.

Patch Update 9

Patch notes include:


  • PDA object highlighter on the Offices level would sometimes interfere with the power button preventing the player from turning the PDA on and reading the message - is fixed.
  • Ladder fall in lift would sometimes spawn player too low in the death-room preventing the player from interacting with the orbs in the room - is fixed.
  • Added blackness geometry to vent escape on Offices level where player could clip head through ceiling and view the entire level.
  • Adjusted lighting in the comms HQ so the player could see the PDA more clearly.
  • Lebowski's PC in the director's room has been moved closer to the desk edge to allow for easier usage.
  • Fixed hangar desctruction sequence where the player could circumvent a trigger preventing sequence from playing out.
  • Fixed hangar desctruction sequence where exit door wouldn't open sometimes.
