at last, crazy amount of hours last week on this. so many things have been fixed that i cannot write all of them here.. anyway here it is.. the update.
new/tweaks
- survivor character replaced and animations redone
- some killer animations redone
- many graphics changes for better visuals
- alot of optimizations around the game, characters, foliage, items, network, everything
- removed killer y-axis animation look because new animation, camera still rotates normally
- added option to ready up at end of match, time will go down 10 seconds per player when at ready state
- collision handling changed in some items, removed useless ones
- survivor field of view (FOV) raised from 100 to 110
- spectators can now move down and up with ctrl and space (this was before there but it is added back now)
- max playercount raised from 7 to 10
- increased brightness
- changed the way game handles achievements
map generation system
- map generation system highly modified, this system increases network speed, changes map playability and overall looks
- fixes the issue that map generation sometimes made places where items spawned and they could not be reached
- fixes issues on maps where you can go to places where you shouldnt be able to go
- all maps are rebuilt
ui
- changed the way the game handles UI elements like scoreboards, loading screens, player hud etc..
- every map has their own pictures in loading screen
- many UI updated
sound
- sound systems redone how they work
- lot of missing and overlapping sounds fixed
networking
- fixed issues with many sounds and some gameplay mechanics
bugs fixed
- many codes spawn to same spot
- some in-game UI stay on screen when leaving a game
- both survivor or killer cant vault at very edge of obstacles
- current players on server is 0 at server list
- when connecting to server during end timer cannot see scores, also if game is loading connecting player will see loading screen like everyone else
- killer hits twice as a client
- missing footsteps on some areas
- when setting random level and hosting sometimes it will throw back to main menu
- random map changing mess up the whole game
- some items do not have any hit sound when killer hits into it
- wrong map showing on serverlist when playing random levels
if you find bugs i appreciate it alot if you write in the bug reports discussion about it.
when finding a bug: what happened? what you did before that or what you were going to do when bug happened? did the bug happen for server maker or others?
the more information about the situation more easier the bug is found.

Big upcoming update
new character mesh, all animations redone for both killer and survivor, hud changes and network optimization. graphical changes for better visual and also optimizations on there.
big change is going to be in the map generation, currently there is alot of blocks what are spawned, new system will have less blocks but more stuff inside them. the system will increase network speed and loading times, it will change somehow the map playability but trying to keep it as fair as possible. also adding variety for more different layouts.
update is currently on the works and price is going to raise a bit.

hey, long time since last update. i have been working with other projects the time. i have learned some optimization methods with 3d modeling so those will come in.
- game built with latest unreal engine version 4.22
- alot polycount optimizations, every 3d asset has been opened again and optimized
- menu sound levels have been raised
- some menu sounds are played twice and those are fixed
- survivors field of view (FOV) is raised from 90 to 100
there will be smaller updates where things are tweaked / possibly bugs fixed
My second game on steam
i wanted to do something totally different than Property, game with uplifting feeling. then i made PlatBall, simple casual puzzly platformer. PlatBall is suitable for every age!
play chill mode or speedrun against other players with online leaderboards.
- fixed: survivor was able to vault after death
- players are slightly faster
- spectators have more freedom on flying
- volume slider added
- keypad system changed, no need to set the code manually anymore. press interact near pad and it will check your codes automatically. old keypad does not come to screen at all.
(game has to have a nice flow, setting up the code manually kinda breaks it and can be very slow at times especially with controller.
this will disable code ghosting via talking, everyone has to collect their own codes or go same time when door is open)
- code scrolls changed to papers
- map image with + sign has something little bonus
- new map: library
voice chat is disabled for now. proximity is the way it should have been done at start. you might see some bugs with volume slider.
bug fixes / killer turn / info
- fixed: when spectator looks down or up and spawn as a killer, weapon will be rotated
- fixed: keypad dont work with controller
- fixed: after putting right code cant use keypad
- code clears now every time keypad is closed
- when you look down or up with killer, now the character actually turns.
- killer camera is set to head position, walking feels more realistic
( this might give some people motion sickness, you start feeling ill when camera is bouncing, like puke feeling. let me know if that happens and that can be changed by tweaking the walking animations. same thing with survivor camera. )
- added weapons for some killers in outlet map
- controller default sensitivity is now 2x faster
game is now updated with latest game engine version, so there might be some bugs.
new map will be there at some point. idea came from community and it will have a little twist to gameplay.
faster vault for killer / fixes
- added faster vault for killer, if chasing someone then killer has 25% chance to make a quick jump on obstacles
- storage map has less dead ends and more fences to vault
- both storage and outlet maps exit gates are closer to the door
- fixed: if dead survivor leaves server, survivor count goes down by 1
- fixed: both killer/survivor can vault inside logs on forest and forklift on storage
- fixed: keypad opens on button press on any player if someone is at gates
monday update
- voice chat "mute" from options removed
- custom cursor removed
- fixed: same survivor can be killed many times in a row
- fixed: when survivor dies and goes spectator there still was UI info
- fixed: round end time bouncing randomly
- possible fix: UIs gets mixed, wrong hud or no hud at all
big update
GAME MODE
timer is now removed, new game mode added. there is normal mode and extended mode, extended mode changes the gameplay a bit.
NETWORK
network has been 80% rebuilt. whole system how the server handles players and game works more fluidly.
OTHER
- added survivor death animation
- ai killer melee collision set smaller
- fixed bug that vsync goes on randomly (controller players notice it when sensitivity changes low)
game changer
hey, next update to property is gonna change the gameplay. timer system which is on the game is removed and new system is added. i dont want to spoil anything. because this system had to be done, also the networking has been, not totally rebuilt but updated alot. game mode is currently working, there is still things that needs to be fixed before i can set it live. update will be live soon, i dont want to promise anything, maybe this week if it goes well.
