friday update

this friday there will be update, new map and bugfixes.
update will be live before the event, join for games friday 7PM EST and 7PM GMT to play the new map!

new maps / event

do you have a map idea? it would be cool to make a map from community suggestions, from the beginning i wanted something like that. feel free to post them to suggestions.

coming weekend there will be "event". not anything special, just to get players same time to play. i know everyone dont get the full experience when theres not players always online. event will be every friday 7PM EST and 7PM GMT. those clock times will be added to main menu of the game soon.

week after launch / info / upcoming

hey, thanks for all reviews, players, suggestions, critics, all!

property was launched a week ago, there was some issues with disconnecting and hit detection. the game was not working properly, those are fixed now. new updates and tweaks are made alot last week and there is still things that needs to be fixed.

people have been asking about AI and skills, its alot easier now to just post this announcement than answering same thing to every thread or making new ones, thanks for them i appreciate it alot!

many of you wanted AI and that was very good idea! i definetly understand that just walking/flying around and waiting for people not showing up is boring, and people dont want to wait long time for other players = no players.. i had to think a while how it should be done because of the online system, offline servers or what. so i ended up with solution what is nice and clean. a system that when you host an game there will be AI killer, rounds are going same way like in a online match. once players join then online match starts. if people leave the server and host is last player, AI comes back into the game, so the server flow is smooth no need to create new server everytime for AI only. simple AI system is done and working atm but needs some testing still before i push it out.

skills. ive been thinking how the skill system should be done, getting points from escapes/other little stuff probably would be the thing like someone suggested. buying skills usable only once of twice of a round maybe. also the system how to buy them, from main menu/between roundsor both, it should fit to the design of the game. its complicated and needs some checking and thinking and stuff..

collectables. all items would need new animations, textures how they would shown on the level and stuff, probably not gonna add them.

brightness for levels? the fog determines the brightness same time, there is no dynamic lightning. its gonna be this way for now, i tweak the brightness more but not gonna change whole system. this way i think it looks great and it makes the game size much smaller without all that.

new update next week some day with the new system, putting lot of hours on it.

hey, finally got this thing out to people. this is a small game created by 1 guy, i have couple years now been learning different stuff in game development, 3d-modeling and animating. now i created my first fully playable game, inspired by other bigger similar killer vs survivor games. now visible on store and beginning of february its buyable with a price of 1.99€/$.
