After 7 years of development, today, Pull Stay is finally full-released!



I deeply thank everyone who has supported me through this long development journey.

My original plan for Pull Stay was basically completed (except for some Kickstarter rewards)
But if the game finds a lot more players, additional content might not be unthinkable I would say

[Localization Fix]
- Missing alphabet characters were fixed
- Text correction

[Bug Fix]
- Background buildings of both the left and right sides were not offset correctly when you built extra rooms
- Ultra Gloves didn't fall to the ground when you detached it while you were in the air

Corrections in the localizations

Early Access 2.6 - New Languages Supported

Now, Pull Stay is localized in Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Russian, and Korean!

[Bug fixes]


- Mini-boss battle could be interrupted when you left a minimized enemy(by Washing Machine trap) in the previous stage

- If Robo was grabbed by Araki while Robo was baking a fish with Shitirin Grill trap, Robo could get stuck

Recently, GameGrumps played Pull Stay, and I found a few bugs including this one in the video
It was honorable and embarrassing at the same time (´・ω・`;)
(The other couple of bugs were already fixed!)

Early Access 2.5 - Talking with Susumu

[New]

  • Now you can talk with Susumu. He will share his hikikomori experiences and such.



  • You can collect Yen coins by flushing an enemy's dead body in the toilet room. It extends Free Time (between enemy waves)



  • Enriched Kancho experience




Also, I changed the jump system a little bit. Now the jump height depends on the length of the period you hold the jump button. It's not a drastic difference, but now you can adjust the jump height & length.
Let me know your feedback about this change.

Early Access 2.4.2 - Bug Fixes

[Bug Fix]

  • The game could crash when you did Giant Swing and threw an enemy away at the last stage
  • It was impossible to get the Steam Achievement "Hop on Their Heads!"(Defeat 3 enemies who were dehydrated by a Washing Machine)

  • Enemies did not catch Susumu even though they already reached him
  • In Endless Mode, Susumu has a limitation on the amount he can make items, but the calculation had been broken and the game got stuck

Early Access 2.4 - Game Options, Cheering Susumu, and Water Pistol!

In this update, I added several gameplay options and new game mechanics.

Game Options


Now you can select the game difficulty, whether to skip tutorials, and whether to invert the Y-axis for the camera movement


Cheer for Susumu


When Susumu is making a power-up item, Robo can cheer him to complete the work by pressing the Interact button


Water Pistol


A new weapon was added to the "punishing Susumu" mini-game
Water Pistol can open Susumu's guard posture, which allows you more tactical decisions


...and other small improvements!

I am planning the v1.0 full release of Pull Stay in about two months, currently in the final polishing phase
