Dev QuestEvent 2 Started

Dear Players,

A while ago we announced to take QuestEvent to a whole new level.
During the illness of Fivang (Creator of QE) we had to push the start of the development back to a later date.

We are proudly to present that Fivang is back in business and ready to start working on QuestEvent 2! Yeah!

There will be no any release date on this moment yet. But we really want to know your feedback of the game. Check our Steam Forums and post your ideas, suggestions and feedback there in the topics where is belong.

All the feedback will be taken within the dev stages and ideas will be created to real content. Together we will make QuestEvent 2!

QuestEvent 2 will be free for the players that have the current version of QuestEvent by just an Free Update!

Dev Blogs will be posted on Mondays every 2 weeks. Started from Monday the 11th of december 2017. Note that the second Dev Blog will be some later in the week during Christmas.

QuestEvent on his Return!

Dear players,

It's been a while since the last update of QuestEvent.
Also the update of February is not yet released.
This is caused by some multiply reasons that we like to share.

What is the problem?
Currently we are working on a total redesign and overhaul of the game.
This will take some time, but it will be worth it.

Also our director Fivang is currently waiting on a donor for a transplantation..
As Fivang works on QE on his own, it will take some time before we can begin with the redesigning of the game.
Around the start of next year Fivang will get the surgery. or even later in 2018
The recovery time is about 1 or 2 months (Depends on complications)

When can we expect an update?
After the recovery we will work very hard on QuestEvent 2.0!
We will start over again from scratch buty in the same engine. (RPG Maker VX Ace)

Will the new version be free?
If you bought QuestEvent already, you will get the update just for free!
Also all expansions of the game and further updates will be free as you bought the game already.

QuestEvent in 2017

Dear players,

We are currently 2 weeks into 2017.
We all hopet hat you had an amazing holidays.

With a big update just around the corner, QuestEvent will start the year amazing.

We are working hard on the new version of QuestEvent and will push out the new TestBuild just before February. After that we will fix all the bugs and push it to the players. February will be the month of QuestEvent.

Also we want to thank our TestBuild Testers. The latest TestBuild is completely bug free. So we can go on with building the new content on it =)

Get ready for QuestEvent V1.0 in February.

Testbuild Released to our Beta Testers

Dear players,

This is just a quick announcement that we are proud that we just released a testbuild to our beta testers! In the testbuild includes the new Dungeoneering system, Wooductting, Firemaking and fishing updates. The only thing that we missing is the Mining and Smithing Skills... More about that in 2017!

Update - QuestEvent 0.7

Dear Players,

You all see that we are behind schedule of the planned launch date of the new version.. We are very sorry about that!

Why is it taking so long?
We know that is almost 8 months since the last update that we released. But that has also a reason.
We working on the full expansion of Dungeoneering in stead of a seperated update for that. Dungeoneering is a unique and hard piece of sscripting that requires a lot of work. Beside that we are also working on the perfect balancing of Mining and Smithing together with the new Combat Systeem.

But... We will reveale a new release date of QuestEvent V1!


QuestEvent 1? Ans 0.7, 0,8 and 0.9 then?
It will be a huge step forward to release all those content at the same time.
As we do not seperate the updates anymore but release it all at once, we decidede to make it QuestEvent V1. Everything will be completed of what is in the game at that point.


So...Okay... What is the new Release Date?
We are sorry to announce that it will not be in this year anymore =(
But we will start 2017 fresh with a very big update.

The new release date is....
February 2017

It is still a long time to wait, but the wait will be worth it.

Work in Progress: QuestEvent - Fall Update

Dear players,

On this moment we are working hard on the newest version of QuestEvent. As it has been a long time since the last update (April 2016) we like to tell you why it takes so long.

We are working on 2 new skills that will affect the combat system. We are also bringing in around 100 new items into the game. And to get those 2 new skills to work, we need more maps. Just a lot of work to design and script.

What will be in the update?


  • Mining Skill
  • Smithing Skill
  • New Weapons
  • New Armour
  • Dungeoneering Skill Expansion I

  • More places to cook.
  • Woodcutting Skill Expansion II

  • Firemaking Skill Expansion

  • And even more...


* = We will update the current dungeon and add all the EASY ones so you have more dungeons to play with. This will be the first step to the huge Dungeoneering Update!

** = We will introduce the Yew Tree (Level 60) and the Magic Tree (Level 75)

*** = We will add the Yew and Magic logs.


Okay Cool!, But when we can expect the update?
We will not hesitate the update because there will be a lot of new things to do. And we want it to make it perfect. No any bugs might squeeze into the final release.

The ETA of the Fall Update (QuestEvent 0.7) will be on...
1 December 2016

Developing QuestEvent 0.7

Dear players,

The last update at the end of April was a big one. With Cooking skill and a overhaul of the Fishing Skill.

The next update will be even bigger than before. We will introduce 2 new skills, new combat system (Better increase of your attack, strenght and defence)
This all together makes it possible to have fair combat to other mobs in the game!

We are currently just started developing this whole update, so a release date can't be set yet. We know that we said in the last post that it will be out in the second week of June. unfortunately we'll not be ready before that date.

We will keep you up-to-date along this update is being developed and tested.

QuestEvent 0.6 now live!

Dear players,

Today we are releasing a new build of QuestEvent!
Version 0.6 has been released to your Steam Application.
Start the update and play QuestEvent with a lot of more features!

New in this version:

  • Cooking Skill
  • Fishing Skill Expansion
  • More Choises at options.


Cooking Skill


We released the Cooking Skill together with the fishing update.
You can now cook your freshly catched fish. On this moment their is just 1 Cooking Range available. This one can be found the house of the farmer (With the Cabbage Quest).

You have to light up the range first with a normal log. This one will stay burned for 2 minutes. (will be expanded later on) and you can choose to cook just 1 or ALL of 1 type.


Fishing Skill Expansion


To let the Cooking Skill be working just fine. we have added 12 new fish types to catch! Spreaded out over the skill. You also will catch between 1 or 10 fishes at the same time. A list of the new fishes can be found down below.

  • Raw Sardine - Level 5
  • Raw Herring - Level 10
  • Raw Anchovies - Level 15
  • Raw Trout - Level 20
  • Raw Pike - Level 25

This has been changed to a higher amount! Nothing special further, but just better for the Skill Book and Cooking Skill.
