There is still work that needs to be done for it officially but with this update it will be on step closer. Update #8 Patch Notes

Added: Full Controller Support into beta to further test and improve on in later updates
Fixed: Chapter 1: Level 1: lighting issue
Fixed: Sprinting was not adding a boost in speed.
Fixed: Weapons were able to still shoot even though you are reloading the gun.
Fixed: While adding controller support it broke recoil in the last update. With this bug. It made me double look at the recoil code and this system has been improved so its more accurate.
Fixed: Moving Platform wasn’t working properly if you were moving on it.
Fixed: Opening Steam Overlay caused the game to go into an infinite pause screen. And wouldn't update correctly.

Controller Updates for Later Builds

NO notification when controller drops connection.. Need to add something
In-game controls shown..
Ability to adjust controller Sensitivity.

Development Update #19 Update Soon??

It’s been little over a month since the last update of the demo and I want to give you an insight of where we are at with the new update.

Controller Support

So far controller support has made a lot of progress! We are close to releasing a beta of this in this update. The tentative plan is to try to get it finished and released sometime in a week or two. Granted the documentation of this won’t be completed in this update. the update notes will include controls of this. That’s if all goes well. If I don’t get it finished I will make a post of the delay.

Future Update Plans

Demo update #9

Next update will be more focused on documentation of the info page and controller support controls and I’m going to be working with the steam deck info and default layouts as well.

Will this mean the last update for the demo?

Yes and no because if there are bugs that need to be fixed like controller support and other stuff/improvements will be done but overall that means the demo will be completed as of now.

Quietus Allurement Demo Update 7: 4K resolution Release!

As many of you know this update has a lot of changes to it like major improvements and removing the duplicates and redundancies of the game. So updates will be faster to change and will apply to all and not just one game mode or other things. This update has the ability for a higher screen resolutions then just 1920x1080 which is awesome and no more ARROWs.. The arrows in the video settings have been removed! as much as that system worked it was just to the point where it needed to be retired and changed to what it is now. Here is the overall Patch notes of the game which is still heavily being update and more demo updates will be coming!

Patch Notes

Added: up to 4k resolutions and a new selection feature for all video options.
Added: Options menu now shows more options for controls that are planned for full release of the game. Steam Deck and controller. We are working on controller support in the next patch or two. Down below shows our phases and these will stay on each update to give you a heads up when you might see this happening..
Added: info page has changed and more pages have been added. Info for these new pages is still work in progress at the moment.
Added: New Sniper Scope system with zoom. Still work in progress will see more changes to them soon.
Fixed: Crash with sprinting in chapter 1 level 1.
Fixed: Voicelines in Chapter 1 Level 1 were being skipped.
Fixed: Cursor image was incorrectly displayed in the info screen.
Fixed: Crash with weapon showcase when clicking on sniper rifles
Changed/Optimization: This change isn't going to be noticeable but it will make the options menu a little easier to expand on to the future.
Removed: work in progress on survival menu option.

Controller Support

This will be implemented in three phases.

Phase 1:

This phase consists of the main menu phase so anything in menus should be working. Will need more testing to find out for sure!

Phase 2:

This phase consists of the full game being able to be played with a controller..

Phase 3:

This phase consists of bug fixes. Improvements to overall controller support.

Survival Changes

Removed: info button in survival menu as the info menu on the main menu has all the info needed for both.
Changed: Ground Monsters are now alerted later meaning less range and attack with less range. To allow more time to kill them. Developer Notes I thought this change was better than lowering the damage for now. More changes will be evaluated as time goes on.

Known issues

This isn't very important just looks a little strange but it will be fix in the next update..
Chapter 1: Level 1: has a lighting issue bug.

Devlopment Progress #18 Changes are coming!

So, it’s been almost two months since the last update and here’s a list of stuff we have been working on.

Sniper Scopes

I know this was not working properly in survival mode and I’ve been trying to figure out a new system for this to work better. After a lot of late nights thinking and long days of coding. There’s a new system going into place where its smoother and some surprises will be coming with that. Not only will this system work in story it also works in survival.

Info pages

The info pages are being added to the game this area kind of lack in the fact that it was very basic but I’m working on adding this in so we can get closer to finished. So the main focus after finishing these things will be the full game then.

Options Menu Changes

These are mainly just code changes but, in the controls, there is going to be changes in the fact that I’m getting prepared to add more options. New options are for Controller and Steam deck. Yes, I’m working towards having my game work with steam deck as much as possible. I’m also working on getting stuff set up for controller. Support for controller is not there yet but we are working towards that and trying to improve those systems.

As always, I can’t thank you all enough for the support. This is my first game I’m really wanting to release and give to you all and these changes are slow but I’m working as hard as I can do for one person.

Current Goals for 2024 and Quietus Allurement Demo Update 6

Current Goals Of 2024

When is the planned Release of the game?

The plan release of the game I'm still hoping for this year. But if I'm not able to make that it will be next year or when I decide that the game is complete! I'm NOT releasing an unfinished half baked game.

What's the plans for demo any more updates?

With the update releasing today There may not be an update unless bug fixes or changes need to be made. Otherwise the demo is complete and stable of right now.

Patch Notes

Over the last 2 months I've been working a lot on trying to get the survival mode to the official release to where it is now I think it is done. Yes there might be changes later on and will be sure to update the demo as time goes on and changes are made.

Added: Survival Stats when steam stats are disabled. These stats will be disabled till release of the game and will be available on Game owners not demo.
Added: money drop is now working in game!
Added: Ground Monsters in survival mode.
Changed: Survival End Screen to look more like I want it.
Changed: Money system looks a whole lot better than it did before and now can clearly see money changes
Changed: Level names to prepare for future development of the game. That I know of DOESN’T BREAK SAVES! I’m trying to add as many things early in development to prevent saves crashing and not knowing values before the full game release!
Improvement: Ammo notification will now react a little better to room changes and general code cleanup.
Changed: Bloodlust hitbox to allow you to shoot when looking near by walls/ground
Changed: Survival Version to official release of 1.0.
Fixed: Wreckener wasn’t adding the damage multiplayer on upgrades
Fixed: One Shot wasn’t adding the damage multiplayer on upgrades
Fixed: Phantom wasn’t adding the damage multiplayer on upgrades
Fixed: Electric wasn’t working with the ammo drop
Fixed: Perks now actually take the money when buying the perk.
Fixed: Attachment text was changing color.
Fixed: Electric has the correct holster texture.
Fixed: Drop text is now centered in survival.
Removed: Secret Button in survival mode as it didn’t do anything, was gonna tease stuff for the
future but so far I’m not sure if that's possible.
Removed: Work in progress Watermark in survival mode.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I want to thank everyone that has been supporting me on this journey. A short update about the game.. We will be doing another update here soon. I just need to test the survival mode some more and once I get this tested more It will be on the final release of the demo. Unless there is additional bug fixes later on. I'm hoping to get this release out before the end of the year or early next year. We are going to make an attempt to make a 2024 release but I have a feeling we may not be able to.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all that celebrate! Overall the last year and 2 months or so I've had my game public on steam and my demo had released about 11 months ago and I got to say over that time we had a lot of changes made! I just want to say that I am thankful for the people that have really helped me out a lot this year!

  • Two of those people that are now doing the voices as other things i happened with the others and they couldn't do it. Which so far they have done amazing! if you haven't heard them yet you should go play Level one story!
  • The people that have gave me feedback on my demo has really made an impact to the game.
  • We have had over 5 demo updates with one of them being major to the point of releasing a test mode of survival. Full release of the mode will be coming soon yes they will still be bugs but overall core function of the game are there!
  • We wont be able to make a 2023 release but I'm hoping sometime in 2024 or 2025 depends on how long it takes to develop
  • I also cant thank you all enough for showing the support for this game! its been a long journey and I never thought I would be getting this far with my game!

Hope you all have a good and safe holiday! you will be seeing a game update hopefully in the next week or so more details to follow shortly!

Hotfix Update Version 5.1

A little update/hotfix that will just overall make the quality of the story mode better and having and updated steamworks extension might help with any steam errors if there's any errors.

Fixed: Ground Monster text was showing when debug mode is off was on for testing purpose
Fixed: Ground Monster was falling through the breakable platform.
Updated: Steamworks extension
Updated: Version info

Quietus Allurement Demo Update 5

Demo Update #5 is here. I've been putting in work to finish more with the game and making it to a point where I wont have to update the demo anymore and just work on main game! We still have work to do with survival mode and when those changes are there and I know it is ready to go I'll remove the watermark of work in progress.

Patch notes
Warning: Due to the fact that the weapon name has been changed this will break current saves and will crash your game. But with me working on saves I found a bug with saving so you may not have been able to save this whole time but that is fixed now.
