It's been a busy year for game updates already, and I hope to get my ancient catalogue online somewhere and somehow at some point! One of the aspects of it is keeping games up to date.
And today a new update for Radioactive.
The update includes a few technical changes to help with setting up the screenmode, a new non-playable demo so that people can see and check that it works before they buy it, and new 1980s/1990s robotic speech.
There have been other game related updates here and there too. The cornutopia.net and lostinflatspace.com websites were not redirected correctly, they're back now, as is the email sign up. The next update will be some DLC for Flatspace IIk. Stay tuned for that.
Take care, happy playing, and please share the word.

Welcome to Radioactive v1.14!
Happy Radioactive update day! There are only a few changes; this update should be more compatible with a few more systems than v1.13, and we have some nice 1980s/1990s robot speech too.
New Radioactive Artworkl
New artwork created for Radioactive today. All set for the March 10th game update and new demo.

New Radioactive Update and Demo Coming
Working on an update to Radioactive at the moment.
A new non-playable demo will be released on March 10th which will allow you to test the game on your system first (which is always useful), and show users what a game looks and plays like. It's remarkably fun to watch the computer play itself, and every game is different.

Tiny Update
A little Radioactive update today... but it should be exactly the same as before. Changing the download configuration to prepare for the next update in a few weeks.
Future Snooker, Future Pool, and Taskforce Flash Sale
A weekend sale starts today featuring Future Snooker, Future Pool, and Taskforce. Yes, Taskforce, the game I love myself but which is broadly disliked! Yet, I'll keep liking it. I guess that one reason is that it takes a while to progress and unlock the levels, enemies, and weapons. Perhaps the early levels are too long, but the full game once complete, is just packed with re-playability. This sale represents a good time to give the game a try.
Grab these games with 25% off for the next 4 days.
I'm busy working on future updates and exploring possible new games too. Follow here or join the Cornutopia Software mailing list (on my main website) for news about releases and sales as they happen. Several plans for 2023 are already underway.

Flatspace IIk Updated
Greetings Starpilots! Welcome to the first Flatspace update in over a year, the first compile under Windows 11. Not many changes, a few tiny bug fixes.
The biggest change is that in-game music is now loaded and played when you enter a sector. Until now, ALL in-game tracks were loaded at the game start, which was a huge memory burden as well as slowing down the loading time. This makes it much easier/better to add more in-game music.
If in-game music is off (0% volume) then nothing will load, saving time and memory.
Other changes are afoot and updates on the way. Keep track of the news here, or join the emailing list on the Cornutopia Software website for news as it happens.
It's a big year for Flatspace, 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of the release of the first game. We'll be having a few special events and sales this year.
Some Flatspace news coming later today, but this time it'll only be via the Cornutopia Software mailing list for scheduling reasons. You can sign up here:
