The Prologue has been open for some time now. Have you been enjoying it?
During this period, we have been actively preparing for the game's EA release. Today, we want to share with you what we've been up to lately.
As you may have noticed, we have added six distinct classes and are working on designing unique models and animations for each one. In the Prologue, you've already met the Soldier and Engineer classes. The Doctor and Scholar will make their appearance in the EA version too:

New Feature: Power
We have introduced the "Power" attribute - Now, all damage and effects originating from cards and upgrades are directly influenced by the character's Power stat. You have the opportunity to enhance this attribute at the Workshop located on the train. Until this point, distinctions between two characters at different levels were rather minimal. A level 1 character could execute a successful combo and potentially surpass the strength of a level 4 character (the highest attainable level). Presently, however, the level 4 character will typically wield greater power than the level 1 character, regardless of deck quality, given that their Power attribute has been advanced through upgrades aboard the train.
New Feature: Skip new card/upgrade screen
I´ve added a "Skip" option when receiving card and upgrade rewards - During playtesting of the Prologue, many players provided feedback about card choices, feeling that adding new cards not only didn't strengthen the deck but also disrupted their original development plans. In response to your feedback, we have included the "Skip" option.
This is only a test. I want to know what players think about this change. Then, I'll decide whether to keep it as it is or make some changes. Another idea I'm thinking about is putting a limit on how often you can use the Skip option during each journey. This is to make the game fairer, as having a deck with 6 cards full of upgrades can make it really strong. I'll need your feedback to help with this.

Prologue Release on Friday! The Train Reborn from Darkness
Dear travelers,
We have exciting news about Railroads & Catacombs!
After months of refinement, our courageous train, guiding us through thorns and darkness, is about to unveil itself in a new form. We have added numerous new features and are preparing to release the free prologue in a few days, allowing you to experience the game's transformative changes firsthand.
In "Railroads & Catacombs", we have completely upgraded the Rogue levels, which were already challenging, and introduced a brand-new gameplay element: the ability to build and gear up your train and recruit crew members!
Moving forward, players will no longer control just a single character but a multi-character team, with each expedition dispatching one team member at a time.
Unique and distinct crew members: Members bring their own classes and card deck derived from two different combat styles. Each adventure grants individual experience boosts and card enhancements to your men. However, there is a risk of permanent consequences, as team members may get injured and become unfit for battle or even perish.
Collaboration is key: As different classes determine each member's role on the train. Doctors excel in healing, while Engineers possess construction expertise. With each crew member's unique strengths, only by uniting the power of the team you can survive in this post-apocalyptic world.
Building Your Train:
The train serves as the player's unique safe haven in the game, and we want it to be more than just a background setting. It will have practical functions and special roles.
The train starts as an Engineering Cabin, and players can continuously add different functional carriages. The Void Portal carriage allows recruiting different team members as companions. The Cabala Library unlocks technology and serves as a prerequisite for upgrading other carriages. The Infirmary Cabin allows doctor crew members to treat the wounded. The Training Room allows members to further enhance their abilities through training. The train will become a valuable asset for your adventures.
Here are the specific content updates:
The 35-level difficulty system has been replaced with the Campaign mode, where bosses have four difficulty levels for players to challenge, and you can freely select the difficulty for replay. Different difficulties not only involve numerical differences but also introduce more skills and aggression in boss encounters.
The train car construction system has been modified. After this update, there will be 12 diverse train cars available for construction, each with unique functions. Every car can also be upgraded, including the Engineering Cabin, Void Portal, Recruiting Barracks, Infirmary, Cabala Library, and more. Additional train cars will be released in the future.
The character development system has undergone significant changes, allowing gameplay with a team composed of multiple characters. Each character possesses their own classes, combat style, and card deck. Currently, the game features five classes: Soldier, Engineer, Doctor, Scholar, and Psychiatrist. There are six combat styles can be paired in various combinations with 120 different card effects. We invite you to experience the specific effects and actions in the game. We are also planning a sixth class.
The game has added story elements. We hope that the combination of text and CG artwork will create a more immersive atmosphere for players. Dynamic camera angles have been implemented during battles to better capture your spectacular moments.
Various bugs have been fixed.

We're delighted that more like-minded travelers joined us after two days of action-packed events.
Due to the large number of people in the event, we set a challenge time of 10-15 minutes. What makes us happy is that the players have shown excellent adaptability. Many players successfully defeated the boss of the first level of the demo within the time limit then expressed their love for the game. Thank you for your support of the game!
In addition, many players have given us feedback on issues such as unclear game guidelines, some function prompts that are easily misunderstood, and suggestions for a more humanized user experience design. New Campaign Mode: PART 2/3
WHAT TO DO IN THE ROSALIN
In this dark and desolate land, your base of operations will be the Rosalin, your train. It will be your refuge.
PREPARE FOR THE NEXT EXPEDITION
Your men will not be happy to be chosen to go on a new and terrifying expedition...
REST AND RECOVER ENERGY
The Rosalin will be the only place where your crew can rest and feel safe. Your men's energy is expended in doing tasks on the train and going on expedition. They will need time to recover it.
BUILD AND ADD IMPROVEMENTS
Expand the train from the start with the engineer's cab, build a infirmary to try to save your wounded, prepare a funeral if you think he deserved it, create a workshop to improve your men's equipment, and a lot more options to discover.
HAVE A DRINK IN THE CANTINA
Drinking till you fall flat on your face may be the best option if you're on a train bound for hell... It will give your men a boost so they can get on with their tasks.
DO THERAPY
The labyrinth is a merciless and cursed place and the crew will need to share their feelings from time to time to soothe their souls.
