Hi, here are the patch notes of the update 3.0 to RAT MEMORY DEMO!
NEW DEMO UPDATE
This demo has a new level, that you have to find 5 rats in a forest level.
This level uses an interactive foliage system, so rat will be able to bump into some plants. in this link This system could be also used in future projects.
This level also uses very different colors, perhaps it will be one of the last levels.
NEW CONTENT
Added swimming mechanic
Added squeak button
Now you can zoom in or out with +/Page Up and -/Page Down
Now you can restart the level with the R button on keyboard, or Select in gamepads.
Default controls will now show gamepad buttons too.
Main menu personalized The main menu will have our protagonist appearing
Added Turkish translation.
Drop shadow options Now you can customize and even remove the drop shadow of the main character. You can see it in this link
Added fur (can be turned off in settings)
FIXES
Sound and music volumes set by player were fixed in gameplay
Sensibility settings should be fixed
CHANGES
Camera reset button in keyboards changed to C

A new level! After many hours of work, I managed to create a 2.5D platformer level, which you can see in this link
Fur options You will be able to remove the fur of Rat. But he won't like that!
Drop shadow options You will be able to customize and even remove the drop shadow of the main character. You can see it in this link
Wetness when exiting water In levels with water, Rat will be wet when you exit water. Here is a preview before and after entering water:
Step by step, RAT MEMORY is being close to the final game. I'm trying to bring the game to consoles, so I hope I'll have good news in the next monthly update. Launch date is still planned to Q2 of 2023.

How to win:
Send me a screenshot of your fastest demo completion time via steam or Twitter.
You can just finish the second level, collecting just the required coins, or collect all coins.
The fastest time in each category will get a key of the full game on the release date (currently early 2023). Previous winners won't earn the prize again.

Demo update 2.0 September 6 2022
First of all, sorry for the delay. I promised this update would be available in late August, but a critical bug prevented me to launch it. Now that the bug is fixed, I can publish it. Have fun!
This update for RAT MEMORY DEMO brings many improvements and some content!
NEW:
A new level!
This is a exploration level - find the coins in this not so colorful level to unlock the star.
Added level selection menu in main menu.
Added button to reset camera view.
Added full gamepad support to menus.
You can close menus with your pause button.
Added some settings, like sensitivity of camera, ability to invert the camera controls, gamma correction and audio volume.
Added checkpoints in old level.
Added Quero Games logo in credits.
CHANGES:
I changed the jump slightly - you should be able to reach the same height, but maybe at a lower speed Thanks for the feedback people!.
The change above also fix the character staying forever in air when stuck in a border.
Moved easter-egg in old level to a better position.
Moved player starting point in old level to a better position.
Changed color of default controls screen.
Game size is lower - about 600 MB instead of 1.94GB.

Fix for a bug pressing ESC in main menu.
