Early access combat vehicles

The main battle tank of the Rat Empire. An improved model of the first rat tank - StahlPfirsich AM. Developed by the KUFF concern, 10 years before the Great War. The tank's armor is based on a special steel alloy, which is 2 times stronger than any ordinary steel, has good maneuverability and performs well in all situations. The main function is to break through enemy defenses and support infantry. Rats always combine tank and infantry attacks. In the game, the tank is a reliable vehicle that can withstand a large number of hits from enemy guns, and also give them a worthy response.



Military resources did not allow equipping the army with armored vehicles in the required quantity, so the KUFF concern developed the PDRF armored infantry vehicle. A maneuverable vehicle designed for fighting infantry and transporting its own forces on the line of combat contact. It has reinforced wheels and high off-road capability. Performs 2 main functions in the game, fighting enemy infantry and transporting allied forces to the battlefield.



The KUFF concern, in a series of experiments, created the KugelPanzer tank . The Emperor really liked the tank, but it turned out to be expensive and ineffective. Most of the vehicles were transferred to desert colonies to protect the borders. However, the machine performed well in the colonial wars, so it was decided to create a new plant in the colony. The main task is to absorb enemy damage and draw fire onto yourself, giving your forces a chance to advance into hard-to-reach areas of the front.



Project of a light combat vehicle of mixed type and purpose. It was created by rats to control colonial territories. A simple and mobile combat vehicle that serves as both a tank and a maneuverable infantry armored vehicle. However, in the Imperial Chancellery, this machine seemed specific and risky. A trial batch took part in a border conflict in the tropics, where the Red Dragon took possession of the vehicles, which over the course of several years not only made this vehicle the main equipment in the army, but also founded many productions of these vehicles, calling them JSH. The JSH serves as both an armored vehicle and a tank.



The main enemies for the Empire of the Rising Sun are: infantry, traps, a series of small fortifications and mines. Therefore, the Empire produced the Kiosa light tank for many years - a cheap, easily replaceable, water-crossing tank. A tank that can take any army by surprise in quantity and speed. It is a cheap and versatile tank that deals damage to both infantry and enemy vehicles, targeting their weak spots.



Medium tank of the Lizards . It was created together with rat engineers to combat enemy equipment and fortifications. The Rats and Lizards assumed that in the event of an invasion of the Tropical Continent, the mice would saturate the Red Dragon army with equipment to slow down the advance of the Sun Empire. Albedo has become a good solution for fighting enemy vehicles in the tropics. Excellent against any enemy vehicle, however, the tank is expensive and slow.



PDRF - Sayonara. The Rats, being allies of the Empire of the Sun, modernized one third of their armored personnel carriers for tropical roads and gave them to the Lizards. In case of a quick victory in the Tropics, the Empire planned to develop an offensive on all the islands and completely oust the FMR.



A tank created by FMR to fight Rat tanks. The command of the united forces of the mice decided to create a simple and easy-to-use tank, which could saturate the army with a huge amount of armored vehicles, which in turn would allow them to level forces with the enemy. As planned, for every one rat tank there are at least two TF01 tanks. They are inferior in their armor, but can act in groups and are very cheap to produce. A month before the Empire of the Rising Sun invaded the Tropical Continent, TF01s were sent to the Red Dragon in huge numbers straight from the factories to strengthen the ground forces. The main task of these tanks is to fight enemy equipment, cover infantry and protect defensive lines.



At first, a simple RMTA transport vehicle was a means of transport for infantry, however, strengthening this vehicle with armor plates and a machine gun turret quickly showed that such a vehicle could serve not only as an armored personnel carrier, but also work to suppress infantry, clearing out enemy pillboxes and causing serious damage to armored vehicles enemy. Large quantities of RMTA are constantly sent not only to the front of the Central Continent, but also to the Tropical Continent to support the Red Dragon's forces.



The heavy tank of mice is a formidable defender of the fields. The FVIX tank, an expensive luxury of the
Mouse Army that causes a lot of problems for the rats. It is difficult to use anti-tank missiles in an offensive, so infantry and vehicles go into battle, and a tracked fortress like the FVIX can become a real bastion on the battlefield. The task of this technique is to protect important lines and play a major role in a massive attack. An unmaneuverable, but well-armored tank perfectly breaks through enemy positions.

Dear friends,

In this update, we want to tell you about the progress on our 3D models. Due to some requests from our fans, we decided to strengthen our technique, which has opened new doors. We would like to present you with the rat transport vehicle, Optimus, in a new reinforced configuration.



This is what the mouse transport vehicle, RMTA, looks like.



AIRP is an amphibious fighting vehicle of rats, which also received reinforcements in the form of armored plates.

New 3D Models:
Knowing that the enemy of the Red Dragon relies on mobility and speed, the Imperial Court - 4 years before the war - established a network of factories that created light and fast armored vehicles. These vehicles were massively used within the Lizard army to counter the accumulation of manpower amongst the Rising Sun Empire.





Light armored cars were made from raw materials supplied by cockroaches and were unpretentious in maintenance. They did not consume much fuel and were an excellent solution for battle. By the beginning of the war, more than 5,000 of these machines were in service and were almost completely destroyed during the first 2 years. The rats liked the armored cars and they tried to steal the blueprints or, at the very least, capture samples to recreate them in their factories.

FMR aircraft were also preparing for mass aerial warfare, to break through mouse fortifications and for air superiority. The FMR adopted the tactic of undivided aviation: emphasis on a large number of agile fighters that could carry a small supply of bombs. Thus, betting on the fact that a conventional aircraft acts as a fighter and bomber.





Destruction system:
In the game, most of the buildings are destructible. This allows the player to clear enemy hideouts.



Voice acting;
Each playable faction has its own unique voice acting. Regardless of the localization language of the game, the characters within these factions will speak the language of their people.


Dark Fantasy Lore and new uniform colors.

Dear friends,

We would like to tell you about our small gaming universe. With that said, we’re proud to share the background of the main events of the game, all of which should explain the reasoning behind the conflicts of the parties. This is a great video and contains plenty of interesting material on Ratten Reich. If you’re a fan of Dark Fantasy, you’ll especially enjoy the story behind the game’s events, even if you are not so much interested in the project itself.



This is an important event for the whole project and a lot of work has gone into providing material to our fans to give you a better understanding of what is happening in-game.



Alongside our lore video, we are continuing to add further animations to the game, largely with weapons. This time, it's a Tiny 44 field gun. This gun was built before the colonial war by a joint force of engineers from the Franks Empire and Angul.



As well as the Red Dragon Field Cannon, designed and built in-house.



Some units have received new uniform colors for more stealthy combat. So, for example, the soldiers of the Empire of Rats received a new coloring for snipers.



The Rat Empire Concern took steps to prepare uniforms for medical soldiers, adding white to their uniforms.



The Franks Empire - which wages war not only in its homeland, but also in the desert colonies - decided to prepare a uniform for waging war on the desert continent.



Destruction and Levels

We would like to share with you some details about the level design in our game. Our goal is to create a unique and multifaceted world, where players can explore the forests and swamps of the Central Continent, the impassable jungles of the East, and the hot deserts of the South. Contrary to popular belief, the real-time strategy genre can and should possess a high degree of detail, allowing players to fully immerse themselves in the game's atmosphere and feel like participants in its events.







We pay great attention to detail while not forgetting about the performance of all of this beauty. Our team carefully works with 3D objects and appropriately configures the LOD system so that the game is not only beautiful, but also optimized.








And now a little bit of destruction.





RattenReich Gameplay moments



We would like to demonstrate shooting from a stationary machine gun in-game and its effectiveness. If you see the lines of an enemy fortification - trenches, pillboxes, bunkers, etc. - then you can be sure to turn the tides of battle by turning advancing soldiers into minced meat with a rain of metal. Therefore, running into frontal attacks without covering equipment and artillery is very unprofitable, if not completely foolish.

There is only one soldier in the machine gun crew, but its effectiveness and ease of replacement training forces the enemy to sit longer in their trenches and shelters. Nobody wants to be the target of this machine gun. The rate of fire makes it possible to cover large masses of the enemy with fire, and the tripod almost completely extinguishes dispersion.



Machine guns are certainly good, but they are unlikely to stop enemy tanks. For this, in trenches or in specially prepared places on the front line, it’s best to utilize anti-tank guns. Anti-tank guns can effectively hit infantry using high-explosive fragmentation shells. This is a very vulnerable target for enemy artillery, but it’s one of the only effective means of fighting against enemy tanks. Anti-tank guns come in different types: single-shot and multi-shot, both newer and older generations.



We are trying to make a project with an emphasis on deep development, so we want the player to interact with as much as possible in the world around them. Namely, we want players to be able to pick up weapons on the battlefield - both their own and the enemy’s - and be able to take cover in all logical action locations. Trenches and shelters are designed in a way that takes player convenience into account. By prioritizing the player, one can make the most of the objects in the level: cross the trenches on the bridge, hide from artillery shelling, discover special, deeper trenches, or fire at the enemy in interconnected and smaller trenches.

An ordinary unit in the game is both a simple combat unit and a multifunctional tool for the player. A unit can pick up different types of weapons, heal itself, use a gas mask, occupy shelters, guns, control and transport equipment, can throw gas and fragmentation grenades, call for artillery fire support or airstrike, transport guns, not to mention individual special abilities of different classes.



With improper use of units, this becomes a combat mass with a very limited life expectancy. With proper management, this is an important combat unit. To run in a crowd towards machine guns or competently move into the depths of the enemy's defenses to attempt saving more personnel - it’s your choice.



A very important task of the player is to capture and hold points. This brings up important resources for us; resources that allow us to call in reinforcements in the form of infantry, guns or equipment, as well as the use of auxiliary abilities.




For competent management of your troops, you will be shown unit cards with important information about the characteristics of units. Examples of characteristics include: health level, ammunition, class, equipment and gun cards, and the display of the number of crew and types of shells. Additionally, the cards have built-in functionality for quickly changing weapons and are interactive, like the minimap.

The soldiers of the Empire of the Rising Sun do not shine with variety. This is the standard type of infantry equipment, but there are strong differences in headdresses. The Empire of the Rising Sun has a reliable ally and supplier in the Rat Empire. The Empire is happy to supply helmets and rifles to the Lizards.





Introducing the Heavy Rat Bomber. This bomber is a huge and insanely dangerous aircraft, making it an easy target for the enemy. The Heavy Rat Bomber may be more easily detected, but it is well guarded by squadrons of Rat interceptors. If you see this monstrosity above your head, then it will likely be the last thing you’ll see.




The Mice Light Mortar designed for assault defense. This piece of machinery is easy to operate which allows you to quickly train military personnel. Even new recruits will come to quickly understand what this machinery does and how it’s used with proper instruction. The high rate of fire and low cost of production make it possible to use them everywhere on the Front. The Defense Doctrine put a lot of emphasis on this type of weaponry in the Mouse Armies.




Vehicle props for various levels. Many city residents were unable to take evacuation transport and vehicles were ultimately abandoned in the city due to the overwhelming nature of the war.

Sea - Infantry - Ships in the game Ratten Reich



Introducing new screensaver art for the game. The tropical continent is a hot place with tons of enemies. There is no supply, but there is a navy and air force to aid the Lizards and Rats' ground incursions into the Red Dragon's territory.


Under the cover of heavy equipment, colonial rat forces aid the war effort for the eastern throne of the Empire of the Rising Sun.




The mouse colonial infantry and defenders of the desert continent, bravely and proudly hold the line in the FMR fortresses. Fighters (grenadiers), light tank corps, light artillery regiments, pre-war aviation, and regular militia were formed into the FMR Colonial Force.





The ship of the Empire of the Rising Sun. Designed to support landings from the sea, destroy enemy coastal fortifications, and supply soldiers with equipment, ammunition and fuel. After the destruction of the FMR fleet, these ships dominate the Dragon Sea. The surplus of such ships were sent to the Rats under a friendly program. In the game, this is a prop used for decorating levels.




Another prop, Combine, is also for the decoration of levels on the Central Continent. A friend of all farmers, this tractor-like machine is useful for freeing carts stuck in the mud.



A light machine gun used by the Red Dragon Lizards. This gun is an excellent weapon in both defensive and offensive maneuvers.



The Takusan light machine gun is the weapon of the Empire of the Rising Sun. An excellent weapon used by the garrison police of the local occupying troops.




Command pistol of the Empire of the Rising Sun. Used by the garrison police acting as local occupation forces. Lizardmen often fight in the mud and jungle where katanas and pistols repeatedly come to the rescue.

Tank Arsenal and Soldier Corps 🐭

Hello friends,
Battles in the swamps are a never ending meat grinder in the mud. What was once a landscape at its prime is now nothing more than a suffocating wasteland of gas and ash.



War came to the Tropical Continent long before the world's greater conflict happened. The Rats had created an expeditionary force consisting of 500,000 soldiers equipped with an old arsenal of machinery and military equipment. The Rats built the Imperial Chancellery in the capital of the Empire of the Rising Sun and, until the very end of the war, they helped the Lizards in their affairs on the Tropical Continent.
Check out our game models of the soldiers of the Katon Corps. These Rat Soldiers were sent to help the Lizards fight for the Eastern Throne in the Tropical Continent.




Due to the abundance of iron on the Tropical Continent, Lizardmen began to mine in the occupied territories. The Empire of the Rising Sun began to build medium tanks to break through the Red Dragon’s fortifications in the North. They performed surprisingly well in combat.
The Albedo, a light tank of the Lizardmen, is used everywhere on the Tropical Continent. This heavy piece of machinery is included in all divisions of the Army of the Empire of the Sun.





According to the military doctrine of the Lizards, in each division - even generic infantry - there were corps, assault, and reconnaissance detachments equipped with these tanks. This is the largest tank in the war for the Eastern Throne. The volume of these tanks outweigh the amount of armored cars. Due to their maneuverability and relatively cheap cost, the tanks were used for amphibious assault and employed mostly for sea landings.
The ultralight Lizard tank of the Empire of the Rising Sun, Kyosa, is the most widely used battle tank on the Tropical Continent.




Civil aviation of the Mouse Republic was - and still is - the main shipping method for trading and transport. It is used to deliver goods from villages to the city and vice versa.
In time, Mice were faced with the problem of supplying small villages due to the underdeveloped railway system. Luckily, brilliant minds designed a way to solve the supply problem. Thousands upon thousands of airships now fly across the territories of Mouse States.



If the enemy does not have air superiority, this is an excellent means of reconnaissance as an uncanny but effective way of bombing enemy positions.
Mice battle balloons are often used as such reconnaissance vehicles.




The infantry machine gun, Genkai, is used in the Eastern Wars and is common among Lizard Troops.
This weapon is supplied to the Rats via the exchange program. Genkai is not the most convenient machine gun but, as practice has shown, recruits are not to be given more than 15 rounds. Therefore, a light machine gun with a small clip saved countless ammunition for the Empires, preventing recruits from wasting ammo.



Weapons are supplied by the Mouse Republic and some are assembled in factories by the Lizards themselves. Everything is given to fight the Empire of the Sun.
A standard pistol like the one below has long been in service with the Lizard Infantry of the Red Dragon Empire.




New Artwork, Weapons, and More

Players will have to storm the City of the Republic. Republic City is an anthill that is full of fortifications and traps. The player will have to fight fierce battles for every street with huge - yet unavoidable - losses among their squad. The assault will have to be carried out by a large number of infantry and a small number of specific vehicles. This organization is necessary due to the narrow streets and anti-tank hedgehogs that will interfere with the free movement of the heavy tanks around the city.
The urban area will be a double edged sword for the player. The player will be able to use an abundant number of streets for tactical maneuvers with the aim of infiltrating behind enemy lines. However, this will make them susceptible to ambushes organized by the enemy. A huge number of city buildings can act as convenient shelters for defense, as well as a heavy bunker used to gather forces or to strengthen a rally point for assault.

This artwork depicts a massive offensive led by the Rat Empire corps which was sent to aid the Rising Sun Empire who are assaulting the dense jungles of the Red Dragon Empire. The player will feel all the hardships of the war in the jungle: the lack of heavy equipment, a huge number of ambushes, clever traps, and supply problems. The main offensive on this front is carried out by the poorly trained but numerous forces of the Empire of the Rising Sun and by the elite units of the infantry corps of the Rat Empire.
For better or worse, the army of the Red Dragon Empire hasn’t gone too far and the troops aren’t better than an average conscript. Sadly, the excellent defensive positions will be a trump card in their hands. Will it matter that some of the soldiers were given a rifle for the first time? You will decide.

Prepare for the defense of the FMR colonial lands located in the Desert Continent. Your objective is to slow down the Rats’ mass offensive by any means possible. However, the onslaught of artillery and the pride of Rat engineering, doesn’t leave much of a chance for survival.

The colonial troops of the Rat Empire are actively attacking the desert front. In turn, although the FMR lost some of its territory, it managed to prepare excellent defensive positions. The player will find themselves in conditions of a severe shortage of manpower and resources, but will have excellent and impenetrable fortifications. This will provide a huge advantage in defense. The main strategy for this mission will be to bleed the enemy of its manpower - since they will relentlessly launch massive attacks - then switch to a counterattack on the weakened positions of the enemy.

The Rats combat mini-tank designed for cheap and massive assaults on fortified enemy positions. When the issue of effectively managing a lightning breakthrough grew to an Empire-wide scale, Kufin’s factories received an order for 4,500 vehicles to, in turn, implement one into each available unit. This abomination was used extensively in the war on the Western Front which led to an easy victory over Mice at the beginning of the war. Cheap and cheerful. This is the only way to win.

These brave fighters were sent by the millions to the other side of the world to control and capture new colonies in the name of the Rat Empire. After a logistical disaster, they were still able to effectively carry out orders from the mainland for over 2 years, after which they took up defense. They were the main threat to their rivals on the desert front.



Rising Sun Empire Grenade Launcher - Ichigo.
An effective weapon for war that has high explosive and incendiary ammunition. Proven to be useful on more than one occasion in battles for the eastern front and in the jungles of the Red Dragon. Used by the Rat Army in the Desert Continent and the Central Continent, the multiple charges of this weapon are loved by fighters as they can fire away with full disregard for safety. Sadly, recharging the weapon takes a lot of time. The shooter must load blank cartridges and, only then, can the shells themselves be placed. When fired, the cartridge detonates and the gasses push out the live projectile. Due to the small caliber of the cartridge (which pushes a rather heavy projectile), the weapon has a short range.

The most common symbol of the war and civil life of the Empire. It is this miracle of engineering that delivers soldiers, ammunition, weapons, and provisions to the front. These Trains can be seen anywhere the Rats go and their flags flutter above all.
