Rooms now have a player limit of 4. When players 3 and 4 join a room they will be placed on the sides of the battle room as Spectators
Battling players will not hear spectators in order to avoid harassing and cheating.
Spectators might notice some anti-aliasing and texture problems which will be fixed in future patches.
Spell Card VFX:
Spells VFX are again visible to all other players who did not actually use the spell.
Fade to black when entering the battle room:
Right now this only works for the person who created the room
Other:
Red players decks will now go down as they draw cards and accurately depict how many cards are left in the deck.
New Bugs:
If you use the Relocation button in the Main Menu room you might be teleported back when you click on an open room. This does not stop you from entering the room.
Steam Names
v0.1.03 ---------
Added Steam names to the battle room. This feature currently only works in multiplayer.
Swapped the Graveyard audio out to be more unique.
Bug fixes 2
v0.1.02 --------
This patch/update fixes bugs that were easily abuse-able and thus breaking the balance of the gameplay:
Players will no longer see a "switch position" sphere above a monster when its not their turn (i.e. when a opponent casts a spell on their monster)
Players can no longer use spells to summon sacrifice monsters
When going in to single player mode there is now a fade to black to avoid causing sickness. We are working on getting this functional for multiplayer/rematches
Some performance fixes
Rematch and Mute
v0.1.01 --------
This weeks update includes the two most requested features since releasing to Early Access:
Rematch Sphere is now in the battle room next to the Exit Sphere. After both players press it, the battle will restart without the players having to leave the room.
Mute sphere is now in the battle room to the left of the console. There is also -/+ spheres that decrease/increase the voice volume of the opposing player.
Fixed a bug where the graveyard spheres would randomly highlight even when the player is not putting their hand on the spheres.
Weekly PvP Meetups!
We know VR games can have trouble with online PvP and finding matches! Therefore we would like to invite you all to our Weekly Battles every Saturday at 1pm - 2 pm PST!
This is a chance for players to make sure they can find an opponent and the dev's will be participating as well! We hope to see you all there and look forward to meeting you and having some great battles!
Early Access and future Roadmap
We are so excited to be going into Early Access and even more excited about where we want to take Re-O-Ri in the future! To that end we mapped out our plans on where we would like to take the development, and estimate when we think we can get those features complete:
Would you prefer to see some features earlier than scheduled? Are there any features you would like to see that aren't on the roadmap? Let us know in the Discussion Forums! We know the game has a long way to go and we need your help to get Re-O-Ri to Full Release!
