7 Months On

Version 0.3.3 released this past weekend saw us reach a major milestone in our development road map (Read More), the highly anticipated dedicated server support for both Windows and Linux. As of writing this update, we already have 3 dedicated servers running (1 in the UK, and 2 in the EU) and hopefully more will start spinning up in time.



Originally when we released on Early Access, we did it as quietly as possible and mainly marketed to people we identified that we wanted to test the game and give us as much valuable feedback as possible. We always knew that 6 months on Early Access might not be enough and were always prepared to extend this if necessary based on the feedback and the time required to do the development.

Our game features have always be driven by the items below and we have received extensive feedback on how to tweak these and make the game even better.


  • Multiplayer Game Modes - Conquest, Capture the Flag, Rush, Team Deathmatch, Free for All, and Kill Confirmed.
  • Weapons & Control - First Person, Third Person, Dynamic Crosshair, Leaning, Weapon Sway, Knife & Grenade, Fire modes (burst, auto, & semi).
  • Ballistics - Bullet Drop, Bullet Penetration, and Recoil.
  • Gameplay - Global/Team Chat, Sniper Scope, A.I. players (Bots), Hit marker, Kill feed, Melee, Compass, and Class & Perk selection.




As we have progressed through Early Access we have released lots of new features.


  • New Maps - Industrial Action, Abandon All Hope, and Sector D.
  • New Players - Quantum with Mynx and Khaos coming soon.
  • New Support Options - Deployable Shield, Deployable Jump Pad, and Smoke Grenade.
  • Power Ups - Double Points, Speed Boost, Regeneration, Shield, and Double Damage.
  • Players Features - Player Stats and Player Levels.




The game currently runs very well and at a high FPS (something we have kept a close eye on) as stated by some of our reviewers: "Frame rate is solid and the game overall seems well optimized."

We have tried to make the maps as unique and fun to play as possible but do have some map balancing techniques that we will release in due course. Overall the maps have been well received: "The maps are very creative and fun to play."

The game has always been aimed at bringing back the old style FPS type games of Quake 2, Quake 3 Arena, and Unreal Tournament but mixing in a few elements of modern style FP|S games. Once again the reviews say we have nailed it: "This game has all the Hallmarks of a classic - it really does have that old-school feel to it."

Most importantly, we wanted the gun fights to feel substantial and real, I believe we have achieved that: "... but the gun fights feel right and so far the game looks pretty neat as well." and "Enemies look really cool and the weapons have a substantial feel and sound to them."

Finally and most importantly, we want to work with the community to make the game better, fix defects, and tweak things where needed; we seem to be doing it right: "The developer is also very responsive in the Steam discussions and is constantly patching the game to make improvements."



Where to from here?

We have a solid road map (Read More), we believe in our game, and we will continue to work with the community to make the best game we can.
