Issue Connecting (RESOLVED)

[Update #2] The issue has been resolved!

[UPDATE] This is only affecting accounts who played build 0.907 (released early morning EST 12/14/22).

We're aware of an issue with logging into accounts. We'll have a fix in place as soon as possible.

Patch 0.907 is now live!


  • New feature: Server regions!
    You can now choose which multiplayer server region you want to use. Server regions can be selected while creating a character or in the settings page.
  • New Feature: Stand your ground
    Knights and Berserkers can now stand their ground in combat.

    How this works:
    If you're playing a knight or berserker, simply stand still to take a defensive stance and gain a defense buff which mitigates a portion of the magic or physical damage received. There will be a decrease to the players damage output, once they enter this state. Additionally, the knights defensive stance will provide an AoE buff to nearby players, decreases the damage the take from enemies. Party members will not receive the damage output decrease.
  • New abilities:
    Knights - Incite \ Berserker - Intimidate: Taunt abilities.
  • Increased projectile collision size.
  • (Tutorial) Entirely revamped tutorial. Now with fancy videos!
  • (Cleric / Wardrobe) Fixed an issue with the wardrobe mirror breaking while playing as a Cleric.
  • (Cleric) Increased the drop rate of spirit refills.
  • (Potion) Increased the drop rate of health potion refills.
  • (Potion) The potion will no longer break when changing scenes while the potion is in hand.
  • (Skill Page) Ability cast and cooldown times are now showing properly.
  • (Notebook) While in the arena, the notebook will no longer show the labyrinth timer.
  • (Notebook) Buttons have been added to multiple notebook pages. Once selected, the notebook will flip to the related tutorial page, providing more information.
  • (Enemies) Shortened melee enemy combat distance.
  • (Enemies) Increased enemy damage slightly.
  • (All scenes) If you unfortunately find yourself falling through a scene, you will now respawn.
  • (Elementalist) Frosted ground is now named properly on the ability menu.
  • (Account and class level up) Tweaked the visuals to be seen easier.
  • (Rogue) Fixed an issue where some daggers couldn't be unsheathed.

Hotfix 0.9061

- Fixed an issue where players couldn't create an account.

Account Creation (resolved)

We have been made aware of an issue affecting account creation when creating a new account. We are currently looking into the issue and should have a resolution here shortly.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has created to anyone attempting to create a new account.

Patch 0.906 is now live!


  • (Multiplayer) Combat music will now play for the proper length while playing in a party.
  • (Elementalist) Tome spell slinging will now work properly while in a party.
  • (Elementalist) Fixed an issue where the left hand class ability UI would show while playing an elementalist. Elementalists should not have a class ability UI.
  • (Cleric) Wisp will no longer disappear if you change scene while the wisp is not in your possession.
  • (Abilities General) Fixed an issue where default spells could no longer be cast if you selected an ability while it was on cooldown.
  • (Notebook - Questing Page) Quests will now say "Completed" if they have been turned in.
  • (Auroris Altar) Auroris Altars will now replenish the players potion once approached and the potion is not 100% filled. (Tip: If your potion is almost full, it's recommended to save the Auroris Altar potion refill until it's nearly empty. Just don't forget to go back to activate the altar!)
  • (Questing) Fixed an issue where the quest failure audio would player when loading into the tavern.
  • (Potion) The potion can no longer be corked/uncorcked with the grip button.
  • (Notebook - Network Page) The network (multiplayer) page now shows a message when leaving or joining a room.
  • (Wardrobe) Fixed an issue where equipment material would look incorrect when changing back to default gear.
  • (Arena) The play button will now disappear when the arena is active.
  • (Arena) The arena round count and time resets will now reset once the arena is inactive.
  • (Labyrinth) Torvis has now upgraded his weapon to a hammer!
  • (Labyrinth) Added some more props to Torvis' room.
  • (Knight) Adjusted the default knight chest piece slightly, as it was previously too big.
  • (Oculus Rift) Fixed an issue where controllers would constantly vibrate.
  • - (Loot) Slightly decreased loot drop chance.

Patch 0.905 is now live!


  • (Astral Shards) Fixed an issue where astral shards could duplicate in your inventory.
  • (Arena) The arena UI will now show the proper message when succeeding or failing.
  • (Party) Non-hosts will now show damage numbers.
  • (Party) Player projectile abilities will now disappear soon after hitting an enemy. Previously there were long delays between hitting an enemy and the projectile disappearing. (Please note, there may be a small delay depending on ping between host and non-host players while in a party)
  • (Cleric - Sunbeam) Reduced damage and increased cooldown by 4 seconds.
  • (Cleric - Solar Bolt/Flare) Increased damage.
  • (Elementalist - Fireblast) Decreased cooldown.
  • (Loot) Decreased loot drop rates.
  • (Loot) Reduced the selling price on all equipment.
  • (Notebook) Adjusted text position on various pages - no more floating text!
  • (Enemies - Orc Earth Mage) Reduced the amount of healing done by their healing abilities.
  • (Potion) The potion will now automatically cork and uncork!
  • (Areda Dunes) Updated lighting in Areda Dunes.
  • (Auroris Altars) Fixed an issue where you would spawn at a random location when using attempting to spawn at the nearest activated altar when dead.
  • (Labyrinth - Torvis) Increased the size of Torvis weapon collider.
  • (Collectibles) Increased the collision zone of collectible - you can now grab them easier!

Roadmap!



Below is our roadmap up until full launch in February '23. Though it's not mentioned on the roadmap - I am proud to announce that we're completely recreating the introductory tutorial. It will be less wordy and only show relevant information.

What have we been working on?

Since launch last week we have pushed out 3 patches - we've outlined the patch notes below.


Patch 0.901:




  • (Labyrinth - Enemy) Tweaked how far enemies can see in the labyrinth. Potential fix for enemies who were able to see players through walls.
  • (Tavern - Chronicles) Hands will now animate to a pointer finger when touching the chronicles question button.
  • (Tavern - Chronicles) Fixed an issue where the chronicles text UI would disappear too quickly.
  • (Notebook - Multiplayer Tab) Fixed an issue with the the available rooms UI not being correctly spaced.
  • (Notebook - Party Tab) The party page now updates properly when viewing different party members info.
  • (Notebook - Party Tab) Fixed an issue where the third person to join a party would have have an error when displaying their name in the party page.
  • (Player Nameplate) Account ranks displayed on nameplates will now update in real-time.
  • (Adventure Zones) Fixed an issue where every player who joined a party would increase the number of spawned enemies in adventure zones.
  • (Enemy) Added text above the dojo dummies to denote which dummies are for testing healing or damage.
  • (Loot) Added an icon to the right of the items found in lootbags - if the button is clicked, the item will not be collected once the back is obtained.
  • (NPC - Questgiver) Fixed an issue where the questgiver NPC's health crystals would cause an error when leaving adventure zones.


Patch 0.902:




  • (Berserker) Adjusted the placement of the berserker skull to not occlude vision to the class ability information. (TIP: Class ability information is shown on your left hand when your ability menu is out.)
  • (Astral Shards) Updated the icon for the account rank 5 chronicle reward.
  • (Player) Slightly decreased the sliding locomotion speed.
  • (Vohril's Stand) Raised an auroris altar that was previously halfway into the ground.
  • (Notebook) Removed an extra (unneeded) image from the questing page.
  • (Merchants) Fixed an issue where sometimes traveling merchants would break.
  • (Mana Drop) Mana drops, which are used to recharge a cleric's healing ability will now only drop for clerics. (TIP: As a cleric you can see how much mana you have by the crystals on your staff.)
  • (Enemies) Potential fix for enemies freezing/not moving while in a party.
  • (Cleric) Decreased the cooldown on the cleric's default spell. To balance the damage, we have also decreased the amount of damage it inflicts on enemies slightly.


Patch 0.902:



In this patch we have rebalanced both player and enemy abilities, increased the pace at which melee enemies will attack, and sped up the pace of combat. Be careful, enemies are much more dangerous.


  • (Enemies) Decreased the gap between melee enemy default attacks.
  • (Enemies) Increased the damage of all enemy damaging abilities - be careful out there adventurers.
  • (Enemies) Rebalanced player stats and abilities:


Berserker:


  • Reduced attack power slightly.
  • Increased healing power slightly.
  • Adjusted defense stats.
  • Decreased cooldown on bloodthirst.
  • Decreased cooldown and adjusted stats for Demoralize.
  • Decreased cooldown and damage on Savage Strike.
  • Decreased cooldown and damage on Shockwave.
  • Increased cooldown on Looming Presence.


Cleric:


  • Increased healing power slightly.
  • Increased magic power slightly.
  • Adjusted defense values slightly.
  • Decreased cooldown on Blessing.
  • Increased damage and decreased the cooldown on focused light (default staff spell).
  • Decreased cooldown on Recovery.
  • Decreased the cooldown and increased the damage on Solar Bolt.
  • Decreased cooldown on Stifle.
  • Decreased cooldown and increased damage on Sunbeam.


Elementalist:


  • Adjusted magic power slightly.
  • Adjusted defense values slightly.
  • Decreased cooldown on Incinerate.
  • Increased damage on all tome (glyph) spells.
  • Increased damage (slightly) on Fireblast.


Knight:


  • Adjusted attack power value.
  • Adjusted defense values.
  • Decreased cooldown and increased stats on Brace.
  • Decreased cooldown and increased damage on Forceful Blow.
  • Decreased stats on Rally.
  • Decreased damage on True Strike.
  • Decreased cooldown on Shield Bash.
  • Increased healing value of Recovery.


Rogue:


  • Adjusted damage values slightly.
  • Adjusted defense values slightly.
  • Decreased cooldown and damage on Decisive Strike.
  • Decreased cooldown and increased damage on Fan of Knives.
  • Decreased stas on hiddenstrike.
  • Decreased cooldown on Merciless Assault.
  • Decreased cooldown on Snake Venom.



  • (Ability Menu) Fixed an issue where the ability menu would not despawn.
  • (Compass) Party member names will now be shown near their compass icon. - (Adventure Zones) Parties spawning into adventure zones will now spawn at the same auroris altar.
  • (Tutorial) Fixed a typo in the cleric tutorial.
  • (Notebook - Main Page) Added text to the main page that explains where both equipment and astral shards can be equipped. (TIP: Astral shards can be used to boost your stats, equip them at the shard altar in the tavern.)
  • (Elementalist) Tome (glyph) spells will now fly to the tip of the wand much faster.
  • (Elementalist) Adjusted the throw settings for tome (glyph) spells for both the Oculus (Quest 2 fixes will be in the next build) and Index controllers. Throwing spells should now feel better.
