This is a very small hotfix that just fixes grenades and Disc Saws not being usable, a bug that was introduced in the last patch due to a spelling change. Whoops! ːsteamfacepalmː

PATCH NOTES
v1.2.3 (v1.2.2.1)
This is a small update that fixes some minor bugs and issues. I forgot to update the version number on the title screen, so it still says v1.2.2, but that's fine honestly since this is such a small patch. You may even consider this to be v1.2.2.1, if you feel so numerically inclined. Either way, I'll have another patch out soon that will fix the version number on the title screen; I didn't realize this until I already published on steam. So it goes. Full patch notes below:
Fix mines not sticking properly to walls; now they will properly stick to any solid surface you throw them on to
Improve slugger enemy for more consistent behavior
Improve enemy knockback behavior when hit by bullets to prevent unwanted behavior
Slight improvements to bullet collision code
Fix player collision check bug with doors and destructable terrain: you will no longer get stuck in corners when doors or destructable terrain is to your left and you jump
Improvements to NPC collision fallback code
Fix player being able to sometimes shoot through doors
Fix hiker fanatic weapon offset when following
A couple minor tile fixes in certain rooms
[v1.2.2] Stability, Bug Fixes, and Polish
PATCH NOTES
v1.2.2
This is a moderately sized stability update that fixes many of the new problems and bugs that have cropped up since 1.2.0. The last two updates were a lot buggier than I thought... I had to rewrite the way player death works in order to get multiplayer functioning correctly, and unfortunately that introduced a lot of new bugs that I didn't catch beforehand related to player death, among other bugs and crashes that I just didn't foresee. So, my apologies for the unstable last few patches! This update will hopefully address most of the issues, I played through the game twice to make sure and it seems to work fine for me, but nevertheless if anyone finds more serious bugs feel free to reach out and I'll fix them as quickly as I can. Anyway, full patch notes below:
Fix crash when starting a new game (introduced in 1.2.1)
Fix crash if player dies during final boss second phase
Fix soft lock during final scene edge case
Fix crash when NPCs pick up items (introduced in 1.2.1)
Fix crash if player dies while double jumping or using jetpack
Fix crash if player dies while shooting the assault rifle
Fix NPC ground check sometimes not triggering after landing
Improve Ninja AI
Fix enemies with rocket launchers constantly killing themselves if shooting left
Fix grenade launcher ammo pickups giving you more ammo than your max
Improve NPC swimming
Buff pope hat
Minor NPC slope handling improvements
Clean up some old and dirty code
Improve some bullet hitbox detection
Reduce NPC recoil knockback
Fix dog animation, plus dog is much more helpful in combat now

[v1.2.0] Multiplayer Update, and 1-Year Anniversary!
Patch Notes
Today marks exactly 1 year since the official release of REDSHOT! I've had so much fun working on this game over the past year and beyond, and I want to thank everybody for their support with this major free update adding up to 4 player local co-op and a host of other improvements. Online play should work with steam remote play, but I have not personally tested this.
Huge thanks to everyone who has bought and played the game, or otherwise supported me making this silly little thing over the years. Looking back over the past year since release there's been many things I think I could have done better at the time, but I think the game is in the best state its ever been and I personally still have fun playing it after hundreds of hours of work and playtesting, and now with multiplayer support, the potential longevity of the game has increased massively.
Thank you for playing and enjoy the update! Full patch notes below:
Adds up to 4 player local co-op to the game. Simply plug in an additional controller and press the start button when at any save point in the game.
Improve jumping physics
Improve keyboard controls and fix bug that wouldn't let the player ascend/descend in water with scuba gear using mouse and keyboard controls
Improve environment lighting in certain areas
Various audio improvements
Improve controller vibration
General performance improvements, especially in large rooms with many npcs

Fix some rare crashes
Save points now longer restore health on hard and extreme modes
Many, many, many more bug fixes and various improvements that aren't significant enough to list here
