Hi, in this update I tried to make your life easier and added a system of upgrades for devices, as well as reworked learning recipes.

Let's get straight to the point.
Improvement recipes learning tree. I decided to rework the recipes and remove that strong grind and make it something like a tree, now you can see the order and choose which recipes to make first. I also tried to balance the order of the recipes.

Device upgrades, I made a system, but added only 2 upgrades so far: Generator and Trap.
To upgrade an item you need a tool. You can learn the recipe for it and then craft it.

Upgrades:
Generator - after upgrading you can add plastic with reserve and the generator will automatically refill when it drops below 15% charge.
Trap - increases radius and attraction power

The next updates that will come are the automation of the Recycler and the 3D printer.

Korean language has also been added.

Also the behaviour of the orbit, sun and planet rotation has been reworked. Now everything is dependent on each other and it is necessary for the game to have time. You can see your current time in the shippecore. In the future I will add a manual clock and calendar. The days of the week and month are also present.

Hi all,
I'm finished with releasing hot patches for Xbox and am now starting to work on updates. I'm releasing a small patch that will also improve performance on pc.

New:

  • Changed the rotation of the sun and planet. Plan to add a calendar, clock and more
  • Changed the interaction with Trash trap. Now it works as a storage.
  • Increased the radius of the trap
  • Changed the drill a bit and fixed some bugs
  • Fixed a rare Bug with death.
  • Fixed the bug of not being able to pick up the death chest
  • Fixed sliders on gamepad
  • Replaced deformation of debris with animation
  • Modified visual effect of damage volume a little bit
  • Fixed Bug with saving and loading the world
  • Improved world loading
  • Optimised memory handling
  • Added additional settings for gamepads

Cosmic new year!

It's cool in orbit. That means we're almost into the new year!

Hi, Happy Holidays, just in time for the new year I finished all my Xbox stuff. I want to make a little announcement.
The Xbox port will be released in January.
I've done a lot of work making the port, and now I'll be able to release updates with content. Now I'm exploring options to move the visuals to my models and make the game more personalised. I'll try to make you happy with updates in the new year, I have a lot of plans!

Also my team is actively working on their project and they are close to an announcement soon, let's support them.

Autumn in space

Hey, everybody. Autumn sale has started in Steam!

A few words about development and updates:
A lot of people probably thought that I've abandoned development. I'm happy to tell you that I haven't! Almost all this time I've been working on the port on Xbox and Playstation. As the game will be supported on the last generation Xbox (One) a lot of work has been done on optimisation. This should also improve the performance on the PC, and soon there will be a change in the object loading range setting, which will give a very nice boost for weak PCs!

I'm trying to finish the ports as soon as possible and start working on the content.

Also my team(WITHOUT ME) would like to show soon their project in a similar genre as Remains.

Further plans and development

Hi everyone who follows the updates and those who are just finding out about the game. Today I want to tell a little bit about the plans and set a course for further development.
Updates have been delayed for several reasons, but development has not stopped.

Let me tell you what I plan to add! In the last major update, the game area was expanded and now I'm thinking about continuing the storyline as well as adding biomes. The storyline of the game will be divided into Chapters. This will make it easier to keep track of updates and progress.

One of the reasons for the delay in updates is the Xbox and Playstation port of the game, as well as the adding Dualshock gamepad support.

For those who follow game development news and have heard about the changes in Unity, I want to say that this project will not be abandoned or moved to another engine, the development will continue, even more, I gave a copy of the game source code to my team and they are working on another game in a similar genre, you can subscribe to our Twitter that would not miss the announcement of their project!

In terms of game development and roadmap after the addition of Chapter 2, I would like to rework the design of the game, replace all the asset models with my own, so that the game does not look like a collection of Asset's models.

As for new resources and tools, I have some ideas. I also want to add growing vegetation. For mining and recycling resources, for generators etc I want to add automation so that you don't have to keep running and refill the generator. As an option to add a more detailed electricity system, where the player will know how much each device consumes.

Someone suggested adding transport, but at the moment it is not necessary. As soon as I realise the landing on the planet / moon, then immediately will be added transport for this. In the near future from the similar will be realised control of movement of the ship (forward-backward).

Multiplayer will be implemented closer to version 1.0 (Cross-platform)

There is a robot in the game, now it just a decoration, but it is the basis for adding useful robots. I plan to add droids for mining/resource collection.

There are some small thoughts about cataclysms, but they are just ideas for now.

Maybe I will remake the training in the game, and remove the scene with training, for as statistics have shown, it does not really give any good.

To summarise, there is a lot of interesting content in the plans and I hope that I can implement it as soon as possible!

Fixed errors related to saves

A new signal has been detected!

Hi, updates are getting delayed again, but the game continues to transform! This small update gives the game a slightly different experience. A small redesign and a bigger orbit!

I want to start with the most important thing in this update, it's the expansion of the orbit range into deep space. As before, your ship will fly in the same orbit, but the space to explore is now much larger. In the future this will help me a lot to create different locations and biomes.

Destroyed ships now have a static position across the orbit, if before they appeared in front of the player, now they are always at the same point. Now you will definitely need radar!

The character's hands when flying have been added to the game, this should improve the atmosphere of the flight.

Also added "Sun" and redesigned solar panels, now you will know exactly where the sun is right now and understand when there is energy from solar panels.

The skybox has changed a bit and became brighter, which improves the visibility of objects.

Expanding the borders

Greetings to all astronauts at this meeting. I want to talk a little bit about a future update. I am currently working on increasing the game level.
Let me tell you in detail, currently the game level is limited to orbit, but I am working on expanding the location into deep space.

The plan is to make all destroyed ships and objects related to the story static with their coordinates. At the moment destroyed ships appear in the player's orbit in random order. With the expansion of the location they will be moved into deep space and for their detection you will need to use radar.

There is a "Sun" in development, since we are not orbiting Earth, the name of this star is classified for now. Now it will be much easier for you to understand when and how the solar panels will work.



I am progressively improving the game style, and this time I decided to make the game more colourful, for the background with infinitely black space was creating trouble with visibility of objects.
